                   Sikhs Attacking on Dehradun

                   When Garhwal Court administrators were busy in infighting, Sikh, Gujjar and Rajput were busy in raiding and looting Doon valley villages.
 In 1783, Baghel Singh a Sikh Sardar of Sikh looters was ruler of Karodsinghi/Panjghadiya Misal. It was easy for his army to raid on  Sirmaur, Doon valley of Garhwal, Sahranpur, Haridwar and Bhabhar Garhwal and come easily after looting the subjects. Baghel Singh had strong 12000 Cavalier soldiers.
    Baghel Singh looted Saharanpur, Haridwar and marched towards Doab or Awadh by crossing Ganga River. Awadh naba could stop Baghel Singh. The soldiers of Baghel Singh invaded Dehradun or Doon valley. Garhwal army neither had arms to resist Baghel Singh army nor did they have courage to fight with enthusiastic soldiers of Baghel Singh.
   The people of Doon started fleeing here and there from Sikh invaders. Some people kept their costly belongings into Guru Ram Rai Durbar Sahib. It is said that soldiers did not loot Guru Ram Rai Durbar Sahib but did not leave anything from the houses nearby Guru Ram Rai Durbar. Sikh looters burnt tens of villages too.
       There was high feminine in Punjab in 1783 and Sikhs started roaming and looting Saharanpur, Haridwar, Dehradun and Bhabhar regions.
                Rakhi or Kambali Tax by Sikh Looters
  Maratha invaders used to levy ‘Chauth’ and ‘Sirdesmukhi’ tax those wanted peace from them. Sikhs started levying ‘Rakhi’ (protection) tax from nearby regions. The job of tax collector Sikhs was to protect people from other looters. Sikh looters used to collect one fifth of harvesting from people as ‘Rakhi’ tax.  The tax was also called as ‘Kambali’ as the value of tax used to equal to a blanket. Sikh Looters divided their territories for collecting ‘Rakhi’ or ‘Kambali’ tax.
  East India Company took charge of protecting Awdh from Sikh invaders. Therefore, Sikhs used to invade Doon, Haridwar and Bhabhar regularly. People were under tension and painful life. Garhwal King agreed to pay four thousand rupees as ‘Rakhi’ or ‘Kambali’ tax to Sikh invaders that they would not loot Garhwal territory.
        Sikh Sardars used to come to Doon and Bhabhar and used to collect money. There was no protection for the family who deny paying tax to Sikh Sardar.  Copying Sikh Sardar many Turks in the form of Sikh also started from Kolkatta coming to Bhabhar, Haridwar, Dehradun and Saharanpur for collecting ‘Rakhi’ or ‘Kambali’ tax. Apart paying ‘Rakhi’ or Kambali’ tax villagers used to welcome the Sardar due to terror.

                  भाजपा की  दुमुख्या गुरौ वळि राजनीति

कॉंग्रेस की पंचमुखी राजनीति अर संगठन का इकदगड़ी सोनिया मुखी अर राहुल मुखी हूण पर त भाजपा का नेता तेजाबी हमला करदन किंतु अपर द्विमुखी चालचलन पर चुप्पी ले लीन्दन- गूणी अपण पूछ त दिखुद नी च पर बांदरौ कुण ब्वाद बल तै बाँदरौ पूच लम्बू च ।  अब द्याखो ना परसिपुण जुलाइ -अगस्त 2014 मा स्थानीय चुनाव ह्वेन तो पौड़ी मा बि पंचायत अध्यक्ष का चुनाव ह्वेन।  पौड़ी जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष पद ये बगत जन्यान्यु कुण आरक्षित छे तो बिचारा सबि लालू प्रसादुंन अपण अपण राबड़ी देव्युं तैं अध्यक्ष पद का वास्ता खड़ी करी देन।  कॉंग्रेस की राबड़ी याने उत्तराखंड का मंत्री हड़क सिंह रावत की राबड़ी देवी याने श्रीमती दीपा रावत जीती गे अर भाजपा की राबड़ी देवी याने हिमानी नेगी याने  भूतपूर्ब पंचायत अध्यक्ष केशर सिंह नेगी की धर्मपत्नी चुनाव हारि गे। पढ़न मा त समाचार बड़ो सरल दिख्याणु च किंतु समाचार इथगा सरल नी च।

सवाल च भाजपा की राबड़ी देवी उर्फ़ हिमानी नेगी छ क्वा च अर यदि भाजपा न हिमानी नेगी तैं पौड़ी जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष पद का टिकेट दे तो वै पर किलै इन बुल्याणु च बल भाजपा बि दुमुख्या गुरौ की राजनीति चलांदी।

भूतपूर्ब पंचायत अध्यक्ष केशर सिंह नेगी की धर्मपत्नी हिमानी नेगी तैं भाजपा द्वारा टिकेट दीणो साफ़ अर्थ च बल भाजपा  नेता गढ़वालम शराब को बढदो चलन पर हजारों टन का आंसू केवल दिखाणो बौगाँदन निथर असलियत या च कि भाजपा का बड़ा पदाधिकारियों तैं पड़ीं बि नी च कि गढ़वाल मा शराबौ प्रचलन कम हो।  भाजपा का पदाधिकार्युं तैं गढ़वाळम बढदो शराबौ  रिवाज से यदि इथगा चिंता इ जि हूंदी तो पौड़ी जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष पद का टिकेट श्रीमती हिमानी नेगी तैं कतै नि दींदा। भाजपा सिर्फ दिखावा करदी , भाजपा का नेता बस स्वांग याने नाटक करदन कि गढ़वाळम शराब से युवा शक्तिहीन हूणा छन , शराब से युवा कांतिहीन हूणा छन।  भाजपा द्वारा मीरा रतूड़ी अर सुधा सती तै दरकिनार करिक हिमानी नेगी याने  केशर सिंह नेगी की धर्मपत्नी तैं टिकेट मिलणो साफ़ अर्थ च कि भाजपा तो शराब की समर्थक च।

भाजपा जोरो से भोंपू बजांदी , तुरही बजान्दी , ढोल बजान्दी कि हम साफ़ सुथरी राजनीति मा विश्वास करदा किन्तु केशर सिंह नेगी की धर्मपत्नी हिमानी नेगी तैं पौड़ी  पंचायत अध्यक्ष पद दीणो साफ़ मतबल च , मीनिंग च बल भाजपा की साफ़ सुथरी राजनीति से क्वी लीण -दीण नी च बस बुलणो को हि नारा च कि भाजपा भारत मा साफ़ सुथरी राजनीति लाणो तयारी करणी च।  वास्तव म त व्यवहारिक धरातल मा भाजपा रसूक, तिकड़म  की ही राजनीति की चेली ,  शिष्या च।

भाजपा जोरों से बयानबाजी करदी बल भाजपा हमेशा अपण कैडर का हितैषी च पर मीरा रतूड़ी अर सुधा सती तैं छोड़िक हिमानी नेगी तैं भाजपा का टिकेट मिलणो सही अर्थ च कि भाजपा मा  कार्यकर्ताओं  की ना अपितु तिकड़मी नेताओं की ही चलदी जन कॉंग्रेस मा नेताओं का रिश्तेदारुं की ही चलदी।

अब आपन पुछण बल मि हिमानी नेगी से इथगा किलै चिरड्याणु छौं ? नै नै हिमानी नेगी का गोरुंन ना तो म्यार उज्याड़ खाइ ना हि भूतपूर्ब पंचायत अध्यक्ष केशर सिंह नेगी की धर्मपत्नी हिमानी नेगन म्यार वाड सरकाई। म्यार हिमानी नेगी से क्वी बैर दोष नी च।

जब आप तैं पता चौलल कि हिमानी नेगी क्वा च तो आप बि बुलीला बल भाजपा गढ़वाळम  शराब का बढ़दा उपयोग पर जब चिंता जताँदी तो वो केवल एक ढोंग च , ढकोसला च बस।

जब आप तैं पता चौलल कि हिमानी नेगी कैकि राबड़ी देवी च तो आप बि सहमत ह्वै जैल्या कि भाजपा की साफ़ सुथरी राजनीति कु हल्ला सिर्फ दिखावा च , एक छद्म प्रचार च।

हिमानी नेगी भूतपूर्व पौड़ी पंचायत अध्यक्ष केशर सिंह नेगी की पत्नी च। 

अर केशर सिंह नेगी शराब का कई ठेकाउं मालिक छन अर केशर सिंग जीक कई समर्थकों का पास बि शराब का ठेका छन।
तो अब आप ही न्याय -निसाब कारो की भाजपा की असली चेहरा क्या च ?
आप बि अब बोलली कि न कि भाजपा की  राजनीति दुमुख्या गुरौ वळि राजनीतिच।

  After pushing Ghamand Singh out from Garhwal, Ajab Ram Negi became a strong administrator. Garhwal King appointed Ajab Ram Negi as Mukhtyar of the court. King returned back Shrivilas Nautiyal, Bhava Nand Nautiyal, Dhaniram Dobhal and Devi Datt their court positions.  King did not have control on Ajab Ram Negi, Vijay Ram Negi and other administrators too. Jai Kirti Shah was simply a helpless King.
             Goldars or police officers were under the influence of Ajab Ram Negi. Ajab Ram instigated the Goldars for asking salaries from King Jai Kirti Shah. Dhannu Gaddi and his armed forces surrounded the palace.  Garhwal King called Ajab Ram and asked him to have solution that there was peace in the Kingdom and Goldar gets salary and jobs. King asked Ajab Ram to pay some portion of salaries to soldiers.
          However, Ajab Ram put a condition that if he was appointed the Faujdar of Salan he would calm down the revolt of Goldar by paying or punishing.
  The King made Ajab Ram understand that Salan was the source of income for the palace, families of King etc. The King showed inability for offering Ajab Ram Negi the position of Faujdar of Salan. The King offered the Faujdar of Dehradun position to Ajab Ram Negi. Ajab Ram was in fume. He went away from the court.

                   Secret connection of Ajab Ram with Parakram Chand the Kumaon King
 
   Ajab ram sent a message with Kishanu to Parakram Chand in Almora. Ajab ram stated that if he was made the Faujdar of Salan he would help Parakram Chand to become Garhwal King too. Parakram provided written acceptance to Ajab Ram.
           On behalf of Parakram Chand (Shah) the Kumaon King, Ajab ram and his Goldars surrounded palace. Ajab Ram threatened the King that he should pay salaries of soldiers within three days or  should be ready for the consequences.
                 Wise Strategy by Maularam

                  The King called his aids Shrivilas and Bhava Nand to chalk out strategy to defend the revolt of Ajab Ram. They could not suggest any concrete strategy. The King called Maularam. Maularam suggested a dividing the Goldars strategy.
  Maularam requested to get ten thousand rupees coins from the King. Garhwal King offered rupees ten thousand to Maularam.
            Maularam called Deevan or advisor of Kewal Gaddi the accountant of Goldar Baliya at his residence. Maularam offered them one thousand rupees. Maularam told that the King was ready to settle the salaries of Goldars. Deevan of Kewal and accountant of Baliya brought their bosses to the residence of Maularam. Maularam handed over ten thousand rupees to Kewal and Baliya Goldar. They were pacified and pleased by Maularam.
      In night, Kewal and Baliya  put their soldiers at strategic positions to protect the palace. In morning, Dhannu Gaddi and Ajab Ram were shocked to see the soldiers protecting the palace.
      Ajab Ram asked Kewal, “Why did you put your soldiers surrounding the palace?”
      Kewal Gaddi answered that they were the employees of the Kingdom and not of Ajab Ram and Dhannu Gaddi. Kewal exposed the meanness of Dhannu Gaddi and Ajab Ram.
        Ajab ram, Vijay ram and Dhannu Gaddi escaped with their solders to have shelter under Parakram in Kumaon.
                   Sovan Singh, Uccchab Singh and Deewan Singh were killed as punishment as they supported the rebelian acts of Ghamand Singh, Goldars and Ajabram.
  Bhava Nand and Shrivilash Nautiyal were appointed   at the high position in the court but they again became atrocious administrators and they were dispatched from Shrinagar. Maularam did not mention about them after mentioning the above events.

ब्याळि ऑफिसम बैठ्युं छौ कि फोन आयि अर ऑपरेटरन बोलि - डी कंपनी बिटेन फोन च।

उख बिटेन फोन आयि - मि डी कम्पनी बटें छोटा मुर्गा  बुलणु छौं . मि बरीक आलू कु  बड़ा भाई छौं ।

मि - डी कम्पनी ? पर इन नामौ त हमर क्वी डीलर नी च।  डीलरशिप चयाणी च त हमर एरिया सेल्स मैनेजर से बात कारो।

छोटा मुर्गा - ओए ! मि कराची  की डी कम्पनी से बुलणु छौं।

मि - मि एक्सपोर्ट नि दिखुद।

छोटा मुर्गा - मै भाई वाळ डी कम्पनी याने सर दाऊद इब्राहिम वळि डी कंपनी बिटेन बुलणु छौं।

अद्बुदेड़ लौकी - ओए मि अद्बुदेड़ लौकी बुलणु छौं, म्वाटो  पिंडाळु कु काका ।  ले डॉन भाई से बात कौर। ले दाऊद भाई याने डॉन भाई से बात कौर।

दाऊद इब्राहिम - मिन सूण बल तीन सब्युं बारा मा ल्याख।  याने सोनिया गांधी , राहुल गांधी , लालकृष्ण आडवाणी का बारा मा ल्याख।  इख तलक कि अजित पंवार पर बि ल्याख। म्यार बारा मा कबि नि ल्याख।

मि - पर गढ़वाळि मा दाऊद भाई का बारा मा लेखी बि ल्योलु तो बि कैन नि पढ़ण।

दाऊद इब्राहिम -जख विकास उख हमर डी कम्पनी। उख तुमर उत्तराखंड मा लैंड माफिया , सैंड माफिया , फारेस्ट माफिया, शराब माफिया छन तो ऊँ तैं ओर्गेनाइज्ड ढंग से चलाणो वास्ता मेरी कंपनी याने डी कम्पनी की भौत आवश्यकता पोड़ी गे।

मि - कनो उख नेताओं की कमी थुडा च कि  ....

दाऊद इब्राहिम -त्यार त छैल बि ल्याखल।  म्यार बारा मा नि लेखलि त मि त्यार पैथर खुंडु उस्तरा लगै द्योलु हाँ।

दाऊद इब्राहिम -हाँ।  मि सरा मुंबई तैं कंट्रोल करदु। अगर तू म्यार बारा मा नि लिखली त मि अधकचा लिम्बु तैं तेरी सुपारी दे द्यूलु।
मि -शादी ब्यौं मा सुपारी दिए जांदी।

दाऊद इब्राहिम -देख मि इख कराची से सरा मुंबई कंट्रोल करदु। मुंबई मा रौण मुस्किल कौर द्योलु।
मि -बहुत सा पुलिस ऑफिसर म्यार दोस्त छन।

दाऊद इब्राहिम -पुलिस ऑफिसरूं बदली त मी इ करांदु । जै पुलिस ऑफिसर तैं चौं मि लगै सकुद, जै तैं चौं मि निकळवै सकुद अर जैक चौं मि बदली करै सकुद।
मि -पुलिस ऑफिसरूं बदली आदि की पावर तो गृह मंत्री का हाथ माँ हूँद।

दाऊद इब्राहिम -देख मुंबई तैं कंट्रोल करद ना कि होम मिनिस्टर।  तू म्यार बारा मा लेख कि मि अब उत्तराखंड पर अधिकार करण वाळ छौं।  मेरी समणि कैकि नि चलदी , होम मिनिस्टर की बि ना !
मि -बेकार की बात नि कौर कि कराची से मुंबई कंट्रोल हूणु हो।

दाऊद इब्राहिम -तीन दिखणाइ मेरि  तागत।  अबि दिखांदु मि त्वै तैं अपण तागत।
मि -जा बै जा।  इस्लामाबाद , कराची वाळु धमकी मा मि नि आंदु।

दाऊद इब्राहिम - देख मि आज  दक्षिण मुंबई की बिजली गोल करणु छौं. फिर देख तू मेरी सक्यात कि मि कराची से क्या कौर सकुद।
अर फटफटाक सरा साउथ मुंबई कि बिजली गुल ह्वे  गे ।

               Reappointment of Ajab Ram Negi and Ghamand Singh in Garhwal Court
   Ajab Ram Negi got information that Garhwal King Jai Kirti Shah removed Nautiyal group from the court, he marched towards Shrinagar with his force. There is no mention by Maularam about resistances to Ajab Ram Negi from Garhwal force and forces of Goldars.
        Ajab Ram called Ghamand Singh to Shrinagar. Garhwal King returned their positions to them.  In compulsion situation, King Jay Kirt Shah appointed Ajab Ram as Faujdar, Vijay Ram as Goldar, Ghamand Singh as Mukhtyar and Kedar Singh as Faujdar of Dehradun.
  Now, Jai Kirti shah was compelled to play the orders of Ajab ram and company.

     Ajab Ram inviting Pradyuman and Parakram for attacking on Garhwal

  The King tried to interference on the autocracy of Ajab Ram and company. Ajab Ram sent message to king of Kumaon Pradyuman Chand (Shah) and his brother Parakram to attack on Garhwal.
             Taking help of Sirmaur King Jagat Prakash
          When the King came to know that Pradyuman and Parakram were to reach Shrinagar with force, he went to take advice of Maularam.
             Maularam wanted to visit Jagat Prakash the King of Sirmaur for help. However, King did not allow Maularam to go far away from Shrinagar. Maularam had influence on Jagat Prakash.
         Maularam sent an emotional letter to Jagat Prakash for helping Garhwal King.
                     Battle of Kaproli
  Jagat Prakash reached to Shrinagar with his force. However, before Jagat Prakash could reach Shrinagar, the force of Pradyuman and Parakram surrounded Shrinagar. Vijay Ram with his soldiers also came to help Pradyuman and Parakram. In the mean time, Jagat Prakash reached to border of Shrinagar. 
            There was fierce battle between army of Jagat Prakash with armies of Kumaon and armed forces of Vijay Ram and Ghamand Singh. Vijay ram Negi was killed in the battle. Ghamand Singh ran away from the battle for his life. Soldiers of Jagat Prakash followed Ghamand Singh and killed Ghamand Singh.
            Sirmoor King Jagat Prakash defeated Pradyuman Chand (Shah) and Parakram Shah. They both ran towards Kumaon.
      Jagat Prakash freed Jai Kirti Shah/Jay Kirt Shah from the force of Ajab Ram and company.
        Jagat Prakash advised Jai Kirti Shah/Jay Kirt Shah to attack on Kumaon with help of Sirmaur army.
    Garhwal King had discussion with Garhwal administrators. All administers advised the King that whatever the result would come Sirmoor King Jagat Prakash would ask salaries for his soldiers and Garhwal –Kumaon treasury was not able to pay that much salaries.
 Garhwal King did not agree for invading Kumaon with the help of Sirmur King Jagat Prakash army.
    Sirmur King Jagat Prakash was given a heartily farewell with lakh of rupees, grains, gifts and gem garland by Garhwal King Jai Kirti Shah.
The above description was detailed by Maularam in his Garhrajvanshkavya. Dr Dabral depended on Maularam for writing history of Jai Kirti Shah/Jay Kirt Shah.
This author did try to find out about Sirmoor King Jagat Prakash visiting Garhwal from other sources. However, no other historian mentions about Sirmur King Jagat Prakash coming to Shrinagar, Garhwal.

हमन पुरण जमानै कथा पौढ़ि छे बल शिष्य आरुणि गुरु धौम्य श्री का स्यारौ पाणि रुकणो बान अफिक मींड पर पोड़ि गे कि पाणि नि बौगो।

मि तैं या कथा हमर मासाबन सैत च दर्जा तीन चार मा सुणै होलि अर दगड़ मा इन बि ब्वाल बल अचकालौ शिष्य त उल्टां मास्टरजी कूल तोड़िक ऐ जांदन।

सै बि च जु अचकाल मासाब अर च्याला कु एकी  गाँव ह्वावो  तो पाणि अग्ल्यार मासाब तैं मीलि नि सकुद।  आरुणि का बुबा जी सीधा बोलि दींदन बल मास्टर पर  क्यांक अनुग्रह करे जावु ? पैलक जमाना मा आरुणी अपण गुरु जीक स्यार इलै कुल्यांद छौ कि गुरूजी तैं ना त तनखा मिलदी छे ना इ क्वी सरकारी मिड डे मील।  अब त मास्टरुं तैं तनखा , पीएफ , पेंसन सब मिलदी तो मास्टर म्यार आरुणी तैं पडाँद तो हम पर क्याक ऐसान ? अचकाल आरुणि ब्वे बाब मास्टरुं तैं अध्यापक ना सरकारी हळया  माणदन जु पैसौंक बदल मा शिक्षा पुंगड़ बांद।

अचकाल आरुण्युं कुण बि आफत रौंद , घंघतोळ हूंद , रौंका -धौंकि रौंदि कि कै जि धौम्य गुरु क स्यार कुल्यावु?  पुरण जमनम एकी धौम्य गुरु जी छ्याई तो आरूणी एकी गुरूजी धौम्य कु स्यार कुलेक ऐ जांद छौ -क्वी कन्फ्यूजन नि रौंद छौ कि कै धौम्य तैं प्राथमिकता दिए जाव अर कै धौम्य की अवहेलना करे जाव।

अजकाल आरूणी कन्फ्यूज रौंद कि कै धौम्य तै जि मोस्ट इम्पोर्टेन्ट , इम्पोर्टेन्ट , बस इम्पोर्टेन्ट श्रेणी मा धरे जाव ? आज आरूणी का वास्ता दस विषयुं बान बीस धौम्य त स्कूलम छन।  कुछ धौम्य प्राइवेट ट्यूटर का रूप मा ड्यार आंदन अर कोचिंग क्लास का धौम्युं लंगत्यार अलग लगीं च।  आरूणी की समज मा नि आंद कि कै गुरु धौम्य की सेवा सुश्रवा करे जावु।  तो अंत मा आरूणी  वै ही धौम्य की सेवा टहल माँ फैदा चितान्द जु धौम्य आरुणि तैं पास करै द्यावो।  आधुनिक युग मा मास्टर शिक्षा दीणो साधन नि मने जांद अपितु केवल पास करणो एक  छुट मुट कल -पुर्जा माने जांद। 
पुरण जमन मा दशरथ विश्वामित्र तैं सिवा लगांद छौ अजकाल विश्वामित्र , श्रृंगी , वशिष्ठ सरीखा गुरु नरेंद्र मोदी सरीखा दशरथ तैं सिवा लगाणो बान पंगत मा खड़ा रौंदन।  पैल विश्वामित्र दशरथ तैं शिक्षा दींद छौ अब त नरेंद्र मोदी रूपी दशरथ विश्वामित्रों तैं शिक्षा दींद।
पैल धौम्य  गुरूजी का वास्ता च्याला का बुबा जि बि शिष्य की गणत मा अांद छा अब त धौम्य चांसलर तैं बि दिखण पड़द कि आरुणि  बुबा जिकी हैसियत क्या च अर वै हि हिसाब से चांसलर वर्ताव करद।
वै दिन विश्वविद्यालय  चांसलर का समिण जवान नेता अर वृद्ध इंस्पेक्टर जनरल ऑफ पुलिस ऐ गेन त आधुनिक धौम्यन नेता जी तै  प्रणाम करणम प्राथमिकता दे किलैकि -
नेता -इंस्पेक्टर दोनों खड़े
मास्टर काको लागे पांय
बलिहारी नेता जी आपनो
ट्रांसफर की ताकत जो दिखाय
अब सब बदले गे।  सब बुल्दन बल शिक्षा का कुहाल ह्वे गे।  भई जब शिक्षकों तैं शिक्षा दीणो केवल कल पुर्जा माने जाल त शिक्षा को भुर्ता ही बणल  कि ना ?

 After returning of Sirmur King Jagat Prakash, Garhwal King planned to visit Rajrajeshwari temple the family ritual temple of Garhwal Kings in Navaratri. Rajrajeshwari temple was established in Devalgarh the old capital of Garhwal. Jai Kirti Shah took ritual materials and other valuables.
                Quite a few treachery Garhwal administrators informed Pradyuman Chand (Kumaon King) about Jai Kirti Shah Visit to Rajrajeshwari temple at Devalgarh.   It was obvious that at this juncture, King would not take his full force.
 According to Kumaoni folklore, Pradyuman force led by Joshi brothers raided on Devalgarh temple on Vijayadashami festival. The King had less soldiers and he could not protect himself from Joshi force. King Jai Kirti Shah had to flee from Rajrajeshwari temple, Devalgarh.  Joshi force looted ample of wealth from Rajrajeshwari temple.
  When Jai Kirti Shah escaped away, the treachery administrators reached to Pradyuman Chand in Kumaon.

   When Joshi’s soldiers were busy in looting villages nearby Rajrajeshwari temple a few Joshi Pundits reached to Pokhari village of Bahuguna Pundits.  Joshi Pundits looted the manuscripts available in library collected and created by Medhakar Bahuguna Shastri, Ram Datt Bahuguna, Bharat Kavi and other scholars. There were manuscripts on grammar, Dharma, Tantra, mantra, Ved, Poetries, Astrolgy, Medicines, Karmkand etc. Joshi took those manuscripts with them.
                        Destruction of Shrinagar
      Pradyuman Chand (Shah) reached to Shrinagar with hi s force. Perhaps supporters (elites, people and few soldiers) of Jai Kirti Shah resisted Pradyuman Chand. Subject did not go to see Pradyuman Chand. The city citizens burnt their houses and ran away from Shrinagar.
 Pradyuman Chand (Shah) was in Shrinagar for three years. After three years, he went to Almora.
 According to Atkinson, Parakram was representing Pradyuman shah in Almora till Pradyuman was in Shrinagar. The administration of Parakram was not able administration. Maularam did not mention about Parakram. There are no inscriptions available of Parakram.
 Parakram came back to Shrinagar with Pradyuman Chand (Shah) in 1785.
 There is difference between Kumaoni folklore and description of Maularam.  Rudri Datt Pant described the Kumaoni folklore and does not match the logical sequences.
                         Last Effort by Jai Kirti Shah
       When Pradyuman went back to Almora from Shrinagar, Jai Kirti Shah came back to Shrinagar. Jai Kirti Shah captured the Kingdom and started ruling. Jaya Nand Joshi was no more alive. Harsh Dev Joshi was being treated as the most cunning person. Kumaon Kingdom was busy in conspiracies and counter conspiracies of administrators among themselves. Therefore, Harsh Dev Joshi and Pradyuman Chand could not send force to resist Jai Kirti Shah.
            Important Garhwal Kingdom administrators were not supporting Jai Kirti Shah. Ajab Ram and his party were interested in ascending Prarakram shah on the crown. Jai Kirti Shah did not have force and money too.  Dhaniram Dobhal and a few administrators were supporting Jai Kirti Shah. However, Ajab ram Negi had upper hands in Shrinagar.
               Request to Sirmur King Jagat Prakash for Help

                 In past the Sirmaur King Jagat Prakash helped Jai Kirti Shah and Jai Kirti Shah offered Jagat Prakash money and jewls and Doon Jagir.
           Now, again, Kai Kirti Shah sent Dhani Ram to Nahan to meet Jagat Prakash. Due to different situation at that time, Sirmoor King Jagat Prakash refused to help Garhwal King. Dhani Ram Dobhal persuaded mater for many days but Sirmur King Jagat Prakash did not agree for rescuing Garhwal King from the difficulties.

      Dhaniram Dobhal came back to Shrinagar without any help from Jagat Prakash.
      Dhaniram Dobhal asked money from Jai Kirti Shah for organizing and employing force. Jai Kirti Shah made Dhaniram Dobhal to understand the situation. Jai Kirti Shah told Dhaniram to arrange money as he was chief minister. Dhaniram Dobhal betrayed the King. Dhaniram surrounded the palace of Jai Kirti Shah by his own force.  It was a shock for Jai Kirti Shah as in past , Jai Kirti shah saved the life of Nautiyals and Dhaniram Dobhal from Ghamand Singh.
 Jai Kirti Shah sent a jewel box for saving his life from deceitful Dhani Ram.
                          Death of Jai Kirti
      Watching the mean acts of Dhaniram, Jai Kirti Shah was in restless situation. Jai Kirti Shah came to Dev Prayag. He died after four days in Dev Prayag.
   Four wives of Jai Kirti Shah burnt with his dead body (became Sati). They all were childless. Those wives cursed Pradyuman, Parakram and administrators for deceiving the King and cursed that they would see worst days in future.
  When Jai Kirti Shah died in Dev Prayag, his properties were looted. In Shrinagar too, the state properties and King’s properties was looted by administers as Ajab ram Negi.
                       Character of Jai Kirti Shah
               Lait Shah mistreated his eldest son Jai Kirti from the childhood. Jai Kirti shah was kind hearted and believed on his people too. However, he was always deceived by his own men and brothers.
 His ruling period would be remembered for conspiracies and counter conspiracies among administrators and King family members.

 ब्याळि (5 /9/ 2014  ) मि बि करोड़ों बच्चों , लाखों अध्यापकों , करोड़ों भारतीयों तरां पैल त शिक्षक दिवस पर नरेंद्र मोदीक बच्चों दगड़ छ्वीं -बत सुणणो बान अर फिर राजनैतिक टीका टिप्पणी सुणनो बान टीवी से चिपक्युं रौं।

नरेंद्र मोदीक छ्वीं महत्वपूर्ण छन कि ना यु म्यार आजौ विषय नी च।

म्यार आजौ विषय च कि विरोधी पार्टी नरेंद्र मोदी अर भाजपा का बिछायुं जिबळु /जाल मा किलै फंसदि ? जाणि बूजिक या अजाण मा विरोधी दल का नेता भाजपा का मोहरा किलै बणदन  ?

अब द्याखो ना ब्याळै की ही  बात।  ब्याळि जब नरेंद्र मोदीक भाषण खतम ह्वे तो सबि टीवी चैनलों मा विरोधी पार्टयूं प्रवक्ता चैनलों मा टिप्पणी आदि का बारा मा बुलाये गेन अर शर्तिया आम आदमी पार्टी कु योगेन्द्र यादव अर जनता दल (बिहार ) कु पवन वर्मा छोड़िक बाकी विरोधी दाल का प्रवक्ता या तथाकथित सेक्युलर विद्वान , समाज शास्त्र का किताबी विद्वान टीवी बहसुं  बाद इन गेन जन बुल्यां यूँ प्रवक्ताओं अर विद्वानुं तैं सुक्यां जुतुं तैं पाणि माँ भिगैक जुड़ये गे हो।

असल मा ब्याळि नरेंद्र मोदीक काट करे यि नि सकेंद छे अर विरोधी दल (योगेन्द्र यादव अर पवन वर्मा छोड़िक ) प्रवक्ता अर तथाकथित विद्वान नरेंद्र मोदीक विरोध करणा छया अर भाजपा का जिबळु /जाल मा फंसिक आत्महत्या करणा छया।  भै अबि परसि तलक तो यि नेता अर सेक्युलर विद्वान , समाज शास्त्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर भगार लगाणा छया कि नरेंद्र मोदीन बुलण /कम्युनिकेट करण छोड़ी दे अर जब बच्चों दगड़ नरेंद्र मोदी जुड़ तो यी बुलण मिसे गेन बल शिक्षक दिवस तैं नरेंद्र मोदीन पब्लिक रिलेसन  /जनसंपर्क का माध्यम बणै दे। आदि आदि।

भाजपा अधिकतर इन जुमला , नारा , स्लोगन , विषय उठान्दि कि विरोधी यांक विरोध कारन अर विषय तैं अनावश्यक प्रचार मिल जावो।  भाजपा की रणनीति ही या हूंदी ये विषय  का अनावश्यक विरोध विरोधी दल का नेता खूब कारन।

याद कारो जब पैल टिड्युं तैं मारणो बान पुंगड़ु मा आग जळाये जांद   छे अर टिड्डी ऐक आग मा आत्महत्या करदा छा।  इनि भाजपा बि करदी अर विरोधी दल का नेता आत्महत्या करणो भाजपा  आग मा जळ जांदन।

जरा 'लव जेहाद' शब्द की खोज पर ध्यान द्यावदि।  ये शब्द तैं योगी आदित्यनाथन उथगा प्रचारित नि कार जथगा प्रचार 'लव जिहाद ' का विरोध्युंन कार।  विरोधी भाजपा द्वारा  रचित अलाव, अग्नि कुण्ड मा मोरणो बान रोज ये अलाव /अग्नि कुण्ड मा फाळ मारणा छन।

जरा यीं सदी कु महान लाटु -कालु राहुल गांधी का बयान पर टक्क तो लगाओ।  परसि अमेठी मा परिस्थिति से अजाण राहुल गांधीन पत्रकारुं मा  ब्वाल कि अमेठी मा सड़क , बिजली नी च , सब्जी मैंगी छन अर प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जापान मा ढोल बजाणा छन।  ये बयान से भाजपा तैं शरम नि लग उल्टां कॉंग्रेस का नेता शरमैक अन्ध्यर कूण बैठि गेन किलैकि जनता अर पत्रकार तो कॉंग्रेस्यूं से पुछण मिसे गेन कि भै यु काणु राहुल गांधी पिछ्ला दस सालों से कख जयुं छौ जै तैं पता इ नि चौल कि अमेठी मा बिजली नी च , सड़क नि छन अर सब्जी बि मैंगी हून्दन।

इनि जन -धन योजना अर शौचालय  योजनाओं विरोध च।  कॉंग्रेसी नेता किरै -किरैक बुल्दन कि यी योजना तो हमारी छे।  अर इखमा बि कॉंग्रेसी फंस जांदन अर जनता व पत्रकार पुछण मिसे जांदन कि ठीक च यी द्वी योजना इंदिरा गांधी , राजीव गांधी की ही छन किन्तु यूँ योजनाओं तैं लागू करण मा तुमर बुबा कु क्या जाणु छौ।  बत्वार अयीं छे तुम्हारी , झ्यार अयुं छौ , कफन लग्युं छौ जु तुमन यूँ भली योजनाओं तैं लागु नि कार।

मेरि समज मा नि आदि कि क्या विरोधी दल खासकर कॉंग्रेस्यूं समज मा नि आंद  कि  विरोध का वास्ता शब्द कन प्रयोग हूण चयेंदन।  जब बि कॉंग्रेसी नेता नरेंद्र मोदीक एकाधिकारी चरित्र (नरेंद्र मोदी मंत्र्युं क्लास लीन्दन ) काट करदन तो जनता नरेंद्र मोदी की प्रशंसा करण लग जांद।  किलैकि जनता प्रजातंत्र मा बि कड़क हेडमास्टर ही चांदी ना कि ढुलमुल, किदल, मर्त्यल  मनमोहन सिंह ।

हर समय विरोधी तैं विरोधी बयान दीण आवश्यक नि हून्दन अपितु भौत सा समय चुप्प रौण मा या उपेक्षा करण मा ही अधिक फायदा हूंद।  पर क्या करे जाव जब भारत मा विरोधी दल कु अर्थ ह्वै गे बल पागल कुत्ता जन भुकण तो जनता बि क्या कार ?

              Getting Garhwal Kingdom by Pradyuman Shah
         Pradyuman Chand (Shah) the Kumaon King and his brother Parakram Shah were in Kumaon when Jai Kirti Shah died in Dev Prayag.
   After getting information of death of Jai Kirti Shah, Pradyuman Shah, Parakram Shah and Harsh Dev Joshi marched to Shrinagar with their army. A couple of Garhwal Kingdom administrators wanted that Parakram should rule on Shrinagar Garhwal and Pradyuman Should be the Kumaon King. Harsh Dev had influence of Pradyuman. Harsh Dev Joshi wanted that Pradyuman Shah should rule on both the Kingdom that Joshi become actual ruler of Garhwal and Kumaon as Pradyuman was puppet of Harsh Dev Joshi.
 According to Walton, Pradyuman was in Shrinagar at the time of death of Jai Kirti Shah and he declared himself the Garhwal King. However, Maularam did not mention the said statement of Walton in Garhrajvansh Kavya.
                     Murder of Ajab Ram Negi
               Ajab Ram Negi wanted Parakram Shah as Garhwal King that he could become the whole in charge of Garhwal. Ajab Ram Negi was well aware of cunning conspiracies of Harsh Dev Joshi. Harsh Dev Joshi was aware about Ajab Ram opposing him (Joshi).  Harsh Dev Joshi arranged murder of Ajab Ram Negi.
 Pradyuman Shah became the Garhwal King and was as Pradyuman Chand the Kumaon King.

  Garhwal Kingdom administrators were worried by the presence of Harsh Dev Joshi in Shrinagar. Garhwal Kingdom administrators created such condition that Harsh Dev Joshi had to leave Shrinagar for Almora.

                      Ruling Period of Pradyuman Shah
    There are following suggestions for Pradyuman Shah Period-

Becket – 1786-1804
Raturi-  1797- 1804
Mukandilal – 1785-1804
The copper inscriptions of Pradyuman Chand are from 1781-1784. Therefore, it could be said the period as 1784/85-1804.

  The Garhwali Folk Scholar Dr, Nand Kishor Hatwal divided Garhwali Folk dance- Songs from the point of view of Poetic Styles in following types-
1-Tek Shaili or Style
2-Pattdar Shaili or Style
3-Tek aur Pattdar or Tek shaili and Pattdar Style
4- Bina  Tek aur bina Pattdar or Without Tek shaili and Pattdar Style
5-Sanvadatmak Shaili or Dailogue Style
6-Sambodhan or Vocative Style
