  Initially, Hastings planned that after capturing Dehradun, Frazer would march for capturing Shrinagar. Garhwalis sent letters to Tularam too for British coming to Shrinagar. Frazer also insisted that British should provoke Garhwalis against Gurkha as Jaunsari revolted against Gurkha. Frazer requested that let him be permitted to attack on Gurkha staying on upper Garhwal (north of Jaunsar). However, by experience of Khalanga resistance from Gurkha Hastings concluded that Gurkha had powerful defensive mechanism in mountain forts (garhi). Therefore, Hastings ordered that Carpenter and army should be in Dehradun and Jaunsar. He asked Maubi to attack on Gurkha at  Nahan (Himachal). Hastings asked Maubi to destroy Khalanga fort completely before leaving Dehradun.  Maubi destroyed Khalanga Garhi completely.

              British Capturing Chumvagarhi
        On December 1814, Captain Carpenter got order for capturing Chamuva Gadhi where Balbhadra Kunwar was staying . Carpenter was asked by all means to stop Blabhadra Kunwar for meeting Ranjor  Singh Thapa in Nahan.  Carpenter had only 200  soldiers and he waited for more soldiers to come. The soldiers with Balbhadra Kunwar were around 300. Balbhadra Kunwar fled from Chamuva Garhi to Jauntgarh before British could capture Chamuva Garhi. Randeep Kaji was in Chamuva Garhi. On 20th March 1815, British army attacked on  Chamuva Garhi on 20th March 1815 and captured the fort. Randeep Kaji fled with 300 soldiers crossing Bhagirathi River.

                   
 

                  British Capturing Jaunt Garh
  In January 1815, with 400 permanent soldiers and 600 newly recruited soldiers Major Bulldock  attacked Jaunt Garh fort. However, Baldock failed in capturing Jaunt Garh. Taking benefits, Balbhadra Kunwar fled from Jaunt Garh fort towards Jaithok by crossing Tons River. When Blabhadra Kunwar crossed Tons River,  Jaunsaris tried to stop Balbhadra with wood staff. Balbhadra could easily flee before Jaunsaris as they were not trained for such war. Without any difficulty Balbhadra fled away. In March 1815, British army attacked with full force on Jaunt Garhi. Gurkha soldiers fled away towards east by crossingBhagirathi River.
                No help from Sudarshan Shah
  Sudarshan Shah, Shivram, Kashiram , Ashadhu Gusain and others were with Lieutenant  Menrath , Baldock. However, Sudarshan Shah could not inspire Garhwalis for helping British as British had hopes. Himachal Kings could inspire their subjects for helping British army against Gurkha.
By capturing Chamuva Garh and Jaunt Garh, British had possession over Yamuna and Bhagirathi valleys and Gurkha fled towards east (Shrinagar).

                At the time of Gurkha rule, the villages of Nahan, Sirmour (, Himachal), were empty due to cruel Nepalese administration. Gurkha officers took away the weapons from people of Sirmour, Nahan (Himachal) etc. Only the faithful people to Gurkha ruler had weapons in Nahan, Sirmour.  There was no sizable income from Nahan, Sirmour. Most of the villages were empty and thus affected the income. Before Gurkha rule, there was annual revenue for Rs. Thirty to forty thousand from most fertile region –Kiyardoon.However, after Gurkha took over the revenue did not cross over Rs. one thousand and half annually.
 The administration was cruel as was in Garhwal. Gurkha appointed those officers who were against past rulers. Those newly appointed officers were totally against that past rulers get back. Gurkha officers captured the families of Sayana and Kamin (local Administrators) that those Kamin did not go against Gurkha rule. Gurkha repressed Himachal people that people did not have courage to oppose Gurkha.

एक मुर्गा अर बुल याने बल्द मा गाढ़ु दगुड़ थौ।  द्वी खुस रौंद था।
एक दिन मुर्गान ब्वाल बल - मि  ऊंचाई पर चढ़न चांदो।
बल्दन ब्वाल - अरे तू म्यार मोळ खा , तेपर अप्रतिम ऊर्जा ऐ जाली अर  तू ऊंचाई पर चढ़ जैली।
मुर्गान बल्दो मोळ खाई अर वै का शरीर मा ऊर्जा ऐ गे।  मुर्गा वैदिन एक फौन्टी मा चौड़ गे।
दुसर दिन मुर्गान फिर से मोळ खाई अर डाळक मथ्याक फौन्टी ,आ चढ़ गे।
अब रोज मुर्गा बल्दौ मोळ खाओ अर डाळक  और मथ्याक फौंटी मा चढ़दो  गे।
अंत मा एक दिन मोळ खैक मुर्गा डाळक चुप्पा मा बैठ गे।
तबी एक बन्दुक्या की नजर मुर्गा पर पोड अर वैन बंदूक चलाइ अर मृत मुर्गा भीम पोड़ि गे।
प्रबंध सूत्र - मोळ याने बुलशिट से तुम ऊंचा पद अवश्य पै जैल्या पर मोळ /बुलशिट का भरोसा हमेशा वे   ऊंचा पद पर नि रै सकदा।

मास्टरजी - तो बच्चो आज अंक गणित से जनित मुहावरों का उदाहरण  द्यावो - बोल बै घ्याळु उदाहरण दे।

मूर्ति - घ्याळु दा तै गणत मा इ नि ल्यावो जी

मास्टर जी - अच्छा त्वी बता कि नंदू का बारा मा क्या खयाल च ?

मूर्ति - नौ मण नंदू कौंक खावन अर नंदू कौंक मा छांचिक जावन ! हाहाहा

मास्टरजी - बोल बै बीरू।  कपिल सिब्बल अर सुब्रमणियम स्वामी का बारा मा त्यार क्या विचार छन

बीरू - द्वी छक्का पंजा का जांबाज छन।

मास्टर जी -भद्वा ! मेहमान संबंधी मुहावरा बोल।

भद्वा - एक दिन का मेहमान तीन दिनों बेईमान।

मास्टर जी-  मंगसिरु ! एक पंथ .... मुहावरा पूर कर

मंगसिरु - एक पंथ द्वी काज।

मास्टर जी -फगुण्या ! अँधेरी रात संबंधी मुहावरा बोल

फगुण्या - चार  दिनुं की जुन्ख्याळी रात अर फिर उनि अँध्यारी रात !

मास्टर जी - बैसाखू ! एक मंत्री पद  अर सत्तर विधायक ?

बैसाखु - एक अनार सौ बिमार।

मास्टर जी - जिठ्वा ! कँजूसी कुण क्या बुल्दन ?

जिठ्वा- एकेक कौड़ी दाँतन पकड़न।

मास्टर जी -कतिकु ! भैंसक गुस्सा मकड़ा पर ?

कतिकु - एक जुरम कारो अर दुसर डंड भारो।

मास्टर जी - मघ्वा ! नेता जनता की आवाज का दगड क्या बर्ताव करदन ?

मघ्वा - एक कंदुड़णन सुणन दुसर कंदुड़णन भैर गाडी दीण

मास्टर जी - मंगळु ! नेता लोग चुनावी समौ पर क्या भाषण दींदन ?

मंगळु - एक की चार लगांदन।

मास्टर जी - बुद्धु धू ! कॉंग्रेस , भाजपा , समाजवादी पार्टी , जनता दल आदि क्या छन ?

बुद्धु - सब राजनीतिक दल एकी थैला का चट्टा बट्टा छन।

मास्टर जी -रवि ! नेता कन हून्दन ?

रवि - झूठ बुलण मा एक से बढ़कर एक


मास्टर जी -अषाढु ! विजय बहुगुणा का गढ़वाल मा क्या स्थिति च ?

अषाढु - ना तीन मा ना तेरा मा
