who knows these sir name would be better if we can write  in front of Their Identity   ( Brahaman/yajman)  for example

JOSHi  (bramahan)
Aswal ( Yajmaan /Chatree ) so on.


so that it will be easy for people like me to know who's who?

can we do?

It is a good suggestion. I have also done this in titles.. Now onwards we will try to provide categorized titles names..

Cast names of Garhwali Brahmins:(But based essentially on their village names!!! Nobody knows what was their caste before coming to the hills! Most of them claim that their ancestors came from the plains......it means few men came from the plains but they usually married the local Khas tribes and so all the Garhwali Brahmins are regarded as mixed-blooded "Khas Brahmins")....

For example,
Nautiyals of Nauti village,
Semwals of Sem,
Bahugunas of Bughani,
Maithanis of Maithana,
Semaltis of Semalta,
Gairolas of Gairoli,
Chamolis of Chamoli,
Thapliyal of Thapli, etc......

It was usually the village inhabited the first that gave the nomenclature!

This is precisely the reason why some caste names are shared by both the Brahmins as well as the Jajmans(Rajpoots)....
They are:
Thapliyal (Brahmins in most parts of Garhwal but Jajmans in a few)
Barthwal (Both Brahmins and Jajmans)
Uniyal (Both Brahmins and Jajmans)
Pokhriyal(Jajmans in Tehri & Uttarkashi but Brahmins in Pauri Garhwal)
