Introducing tractor or new machine should not be a problem, but a very practical hurdle would be outcome/input ratio. Our lands are fragmented into small areas either because of geographical reasons or division of families, in that case input been poured in using such machines would be costlier, fuel cost is already high so our alternative could be a fuel efficient or non-conventional energy converters or more user friendly/ecofriendly/money-friendly technology. Still a throughout survey and more technical discussions/experiments by experts may bring a defined clear-cut conclusion...rest predictions n gossips are always there to fill the blank pages

Sanju Da,

You are right. I think introduction of Tracktor would be more useful in valley areas field of ours. However, it would be difficult to use portable tractors in stair types of field.

In addition to this, there is absolute need of some kinds of method in doing agriculture in staire types of fields or people should change some other types of crops or fruits instead of what they are doing at present.

to my belief cultivation of high altitude plants like organic crops or medicinal plants or ayurvedic plants would serve the purpose ....need more educational and technical awareness among inhabitants ,,,,may be it can be done if we ourself take the initiatives ,,
