महराज ये पहाड़ का दुर्भाग्य है की अलग राज्य बनने के बाद भी पहाड़ो का वो विकाश नहीं हो पाया जिसका सपना हर उत्तराखंडी ने राज्य आन्दोलन के समय पर देखा था | वो चाहे राजधानी का मुद्दा हो या परिसीमन करके पहाड़ की सीटो को कम करना | आप कभी हल्द्वानी - भीमताल होते हुये यात्रा करो  तो आप को पता चल जायेगा की मुक्तेश्वर , धारी, पहाड़ पानी , पदमपुरी  और उसकी आश पाश की जगह मे जो बंगले है वो किनके है शायद वो बाहर के लोगो के है जिनको गर्मियों मे पहाड़ घूमना होगा और वहा पे  सेव  , नासपाती के बहुत पेड होते है बंगले के साथ - साथ वो भी हटते जा रहे है | एक कोशिश ऐशी होनी चाहिये की पहाड़ की सुन्दरता बरक़रार रहे और हमारा पहाड़ बचा रहे |

This is very True Sudhir Ji.

Same is the condition in Bhimtal, Almora, Mussorie and other parts of Uttarakhand and people from pahad are still flying from hills to plane areas.

This is really very unfortunate that State Govt is just doing nothing in this regard. 

उत्तराखंड में भू माफियाओ का राज है, तस्करों ने जंगले काट के बराबर कर दिए है! उत्तराखंड राज्य की अस्थायी राजधानी देहरादून जरुर है लेकिन असली उत्तराखंड राज्य शुरू होता है पहाडो में!

हमारे नेताओ को क्या लेना देना अपनी मिटटी से!  इनके तो करोडो के महल देहरादून एव हल्द्वानी आदि जगहों पर है!

Pahad is sold. Corruption on peak.

No proper land acqusition is there.

Every govt makes its version of the act, not for the common man but for a select few.
Hoards of businessmen and builders from UP and other states are flocking to UK, causing steep rise in land price, making it hard for a humble pahadi to build a decent house in his own state.   
Now Congress Govt. wants its own share I believe:

Dehradun, July 30
To expedite land acquisition and overcome the shortage of houses in Uttarakhand, the government will soon come up with its own Land Acquisition Act and a housing policy. "The Land Acquisition Act of Uttarakhand will be framed in such a manner that it is beneficial for land owners, including farmers. We will also frame an investor-friendly policy to address the shortage of houses so that the housing needs of all sections of the society are met," said Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, while speaking with mediapersons today during the evaluation meeting of the Housing and Forest Department.

Uttarakhand is facing a shortage of around 1 lakh-8 lakh houses. The housing policy will be discussed on September 15."


Why can't article 370 in parts be applied to uttarakhand as it is applied in Himanchal Pradesh and some north eastern  states.
That may be because our Netas never pressed for it as it will hamper their own Developement.
