Mehta ji I don't have the idea about this aspect (i.e. Dehradoon is an extreme corner of UK. People reach Delhi early than Dehradoon. If some has to go for official work to Delhi from Pithogarh Bageshwar, Chamoli etc. they needs alteast 2-3 days and almost 5000/- in pocket) as i was born & brought up in Delhi only. If this is the reality then we all need to united in this agenda of making Gairsain the capital of UK. Raje Ji.You are right. The proposed capital of UK was Gairsain for which many of ours brother and sister scarified their life but soon after the formation of state, politics started there and Dehradoon was made as a temporary capital of UK. The assurance was given that after 6 months, the capital would shifted to Gairsain. Later a commission was formed (Dixit Aayog) to study the most suitable place for the permanent capital of the state. Cores of rupees wasted by the commission and umpteen times its tenure was extended. The mainly aim from these political parties was to divert the attention of public from this issue. Finally the report was submitted by the Dixit Aayog and it was raw report without any proper conclusion. I think UK needs another Agitation like state to fight for Capital issue. Dear Friends, I sincerly request you to not indulge in this disputed matter raised by our selfish political parties who want to fooled the Uttranchalis brothers. They are using the british policy of divide & rule amongs the Kumaon & Garhwal region. We must vote for that caiptal place which best suited, i mean feasible for each uttranchali. पिछले साल हम ७० , 80 लोग एक रैली ले गए थे डेल्ही से गैरसैण अगस्त माह मैं इसबार भी प्रोग्राम तो है चलते हैं बारी की तादात मैं ताकि नेताओ को लगे की जनता गैरसैण भूले नहीं है क्या ख़याल है आपका?
