Should Gairsain Be Capital? - क्या उत्तराखंड की राजधानी गैरसैण होनी चाहिए?

Dosto,

As you are aware Gairain was the proposed Capital of Uttarakhand State. However, after formation of new state, this proposal was dropped for time being, with a assurance to the people that at a later stage it would be shifted to Gairsain in view of infrastructural issues. But now it has been 1decade  since the state formed and this issue is still pending.

Do you think that now Govt should shift the Capital to Gairsain ?

If you go through our poll result 80 % people are in favour of shifting the Capital in Gairsain.

Mehta ji what I think that it is more an emotional issue than developmental.

Pant Ji,

During the last 7 yrs none of hte Govt has paid any attention on this vital issue. How can we forget that a lot of our people have sacrified their lives for this.

We definelty foresee development of uttarakhand hill areas by shifting the capital to gairsain.

People would have easy access to the capital to address their developmental issues and one more thing is that tourism will increase in manifold there by shifting the capital.

गैरसैंण हमारे उत्तराखण्ड के लोगों के लिये मात्र जगह नही है, गैरसैंण हमारे आन्दोलनकारियों का सपना है, उत्तराखण्डियों की भावना है, एक विचार है, एक सपना है. क्योंकि जब उत्तराखण्ड आन्दोलन हुआ था तो हमारे आन्दोलनकारियों ने सोच-विचार कर गैरसैंण को अपने प्रस्तावित राज्य की राजधानी घोषित कर दिया था,जो पूरे राज्य की जनता में सर्वमान्य भी हुआ. पहाड की राजधानी यदि पहाड में नहीं होगी तो इससे दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बात और क्या हो सकती है. जो नीति नियंता है, उन्हें पहाड की जानकारी नही हो़गी और वे पहाड की विषम भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों से परिचित ही नहीं होंगे, तो वे पहाड के लिये क्या नीति बना सकते हैं?
