It is difficult to produce experimental films or music albums in Garhwali and Kumaoni as it is financially not viable. However, there are language development enthusiastic personalities carrying out experiments in various field of film production. One of enthusiastic Garhwali film producers is Bhupendra Kathait. Though there have been trials for inserting animated characters in feature films as Kamli directed by Anuj Joshi or Nanda Jat documentary film by Bhupendra Kathait in past.
Four minutes animated film Panchayat of DB film claims to be the first Garhwali animated film broadcasted on net on 17/4/2013. However, the film seems to be either dubbed or copied as no way the film seems to be Garhwali barring language. There clips available of animated Garhwali video films on net as baby dancing, furki band and Kolavari de child version.
