पंकज जी : आपके प्रश्न के लिये धन्यवाद। आपने जो प्रश्न किया उसका उत्तर विस्तार से दिया जा सकता है लेकिन अभी इसे संक्षिप्त ही रखना चाहुंगा।

जहां तक IT के क्षेत्र में आने की बात इसे केवल नौकरी के लिहाज से ही ना देखें। इसे विद्यार्थी को अपनी रुचि के हिसाब से भी देखना चाहिये। जहां तक नौकरी का सवाल है अभी आई.टी के क्षेत्र में भारत में कई तरह की नौकरियां है। आई.टी की एक प्रमुख संस्था नैस्कॉम के हिसाब से इस मंदी में भी भारत में आई.टी की नौकरियों में 15 से 20 % की बढोत्तरी की संभावना है। तो नौकरियां तो बहुत हैं लेकिन क्या विद्यार्थी सही में आई.टी. के क्षेत्र में रुचि रखता है यह ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण है। तो सबसे पहली चीज है रुचि।


यदि रुचि है तो आई.टी. के क्षेत्र में कई विभाग है...जैसे सॉफ्टवेयर, हार्डवेयर, नैटवर्किंग, मार्केटिंग, बी.पी.ओ. आदि। तब विद्यार्थी को यह सोचना चाहिये कि किस विभाग में जाना चाहता है। उस हिसाब से ही निर्णय लेना चाहिये। मेरा तो मानना है कि अभी भी भारत में अच्छे स्किल वाले गुणी लोगों का बहुत अभाव है। हाँ फालतू की डिग्री लेकर बहुत से लोग घूम रहे हैं लेकिन उनमें वह स्किल नहीं है जो एक नौकरी के लिये चाहिये। इसलिये अपनी रुचि के हिसाब से अपनी स्किल बढ़ाने पर ध्यान दें। स्किल रही तो नौकरी मिलना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है।

Thanks for asking the question. Let me try to address your query.

The telecom as a sector has a very bright future in India. The current growth story of telecom is limited to urban sector only, the next BIG boom is anticipated from rural areas. As per estimates this sector will grow by 15 % CAGR ( Compound Annual Growth Rate) till 2014. There are lot of value additions, which are going to come for URBAN consumers too those are like 3G and IPTV. There are many new companies which are still entering onto the telecom market like Unitech, Aircell, Shyam Telecom etc.

So definitely there would be huge requirement for *skilled* man power in this sector be it hardware,software or marketing. I don't know in which area of hardware you are but wherever you are try to enhance your skill . Keep yourself updated with latest trends in your hardware area, subscribe to some magazines, newsletters to keep yourself updated, talk to different people of your sector, participate in seminars,forums, talk to experts to get their views. The ultimate aim should be to have the latest skills available with you.
