Uttrakhand Domicile Certificate

-> Domicile Certificate : Certificate for Person belongs to Hill area (janam Praman patra)

Can any one help me to tell me the process for obtaining the DOMICILE CERTIFICATE. And how many days will it take. Is it necesary for me to go personally for it or any of my family member can do it.

I need it very urgently. Pls help

Dear Harish ji,
This process starts from a certificate from your Gram Pradhan (if you belong to a village) or any local body like Nagar Palika etc.

Then Domicile will be released from Tehseel.

If you can find somebody who can handle (u know wat I mean) Tehseel wala and Patwari, then your job can be completed without visiting them personally..

hello,

even i have some queries ...

for those people who are non resident uttarakhandis, can they get a domicile certificate and buy land in uttarakhand?
and will u get a domicile certi only if you studied till class 12 in UK? (coz in my case, i studied till class 8).
does anyone know of any good lawyer whom i can contact in uttarakhand, who would be able to advice on this matter?
