Second the new trend for which I m really against is - songs sung by kids. By that thing a company can earn a good amount of money. But there is nothing for music in principle.

For example, a kid sings a love song, which he can not sing in that way as the persons who already felt that love feelings. Regarding sad, kids do not know the feeling of sadness because they have not gone through such situations.
U might have understood what I want to say.

Right Joshi Ji,

Our songs of different identify and are very meledious in nature. Of course, some of the hindi movies songs has also remeblence with our songs.

I just watched a Uttarakhandi Movie "aaj bhov" and found a song was repeated almost 5-6 times and rythm was punjabi pop song which was quite odd to hear.

You know Mehta jee,

Persons who dont know the method of composing they are usually following this method. In kumaoni and garhwali this is common practice. I have heard few songs.
The most inspired songs in Hindi movies are

Panchi Banoo Udti Phiroon
Addha Hai Chandrma Raath Adhi
Ram Teri Ganga Maili - Husn Pahadon ka

One Film Director, I have seen in U-Tube - that he has not changed any style  and ditto picked up the tune- Le To Aaye ho hamein sapno ke gaon mein and one more song Ye mulakat ek bahana tha.  This is really foolishness.
But in our own music - tunes are mostly similar which I think not good thats why our most generation do not like our own songs and they inclined towards punjabi songs.

But I prefer that the there has been some changes keeping in view our own culture also. But not as a whole.

there is no problem of rhythm. But it is fact that our rhythm is 6/8 and in very less manner 4/4.  So punjabi rhythm is quite odd to some extent.

But in few folk songs it is used. In our culutre this rhythm is known as RAMDHOL style..

Namaskara Shiv Joshi ji,

It’s indeed our privilege to have you in our forum. Welcome to the forum.
I have several queries regarding the folk music of Uttarakhand. I will dare to clarify some of them from you.

Today Uttarakhand Folk music is getting commercialised. Many people think that having a pahadi song means to release a VCD. In VCD the music gets secondary. Why can't we have a song without a VCD. Why can’t we use traditional form of music.

Ramdhol rhythm is not in Nauchmi Narayana. It is in -

ISKULI NANA LE MERO DALA GHURAYO SEENA - it comes under 4/4 section

in Nauchmi narayana. it is KHEMTA AND in 6/8 beats.
