  Chhitarpal means the deity of protecting a region. There is Jagar or calling for Chhitarpal deity in Ravain/Rawaeen.

बूढ़ा महारुद्र का जाया  देव छितरपाल।

Hey! Chhitarpal! Please, remove our difficulties within moment; you are our region’s Deity.
 Hey! Chhitarpal! You are son of mother Mahakali; you are our region’s Deity.

Hey! Chhitarpal! You are son of Budha Rudra and our region’s Deity.

                  Folktales/Folk Song about Human Life Sacrifice in Europe


              Sacrificing human life to gods and goddesses is not limited to Garhwal and Kumaon or India. The tradition of human life sacrifice for social cause or self interest has been a common phenomenon from ancient time all over world and in every society. Crucifying of Christ is one example of human life sacrifice for social cause.
             There are many folktales in Europe about human sacrifices to gods for social cause or self interest.
        There is a folk saying in Sweden that King Aun sacrificed his nine sons to Odin.
  There is another traditional song (Buried Alive, Buried Alive!)  in Sweden that tells the story that people buried a child live to save them from plague.
  There is another folktale for Northern Mythological story, Denmark that tells the story of burying a living child as sacrifice to god for protecting from epidemics.
 There is a folk story in Germany that when Hoxter was being fortified a small child was entombed in the wall as human sacrifice to ghost.
  There is folk story from Vestenberg, Germany that says the story of child was sealed in a seat of wall as human sacrifice to god or ghost. There are folk stories in Vilmnitz and Burgen in Germany that for uninterrupted work to build churches, people entombed children in both places as human sacrifices.
   There is a folk story from Wrangels, Germany that while building a castle the building used to collapse every night. People sacrificed a human life to stall castle.
  In Germany, there was folk belief that a virgin was sacrificed for stopping unruly water in the lake.
      There are many folktales/folk songs from England those suggest the custom of human life sacrifice for some social causes or bridge making or church building process.
  There is folktale/folk song in Turkey that a man killed other man’s wife for a bridge.

Jeero Jhamko Gatha: A Folktale Song about Human Life Sacrifice for Good Rice Crop 

 There is a famous folk song about Maletha kool that Madho Singh Bhandari sacrificed his son life for digging the canal.
  From the same region Badiyar, there is another folk song related to human sacrifice for constructing a water canal for good rice harvesting.  Jeero means Basmati rice and Jhamko means good crop.

            The water was not reaching to fertile rice field from canal.
         The field owner’s wife says that everybody has planted paddy baring their field. The water was not reaching to the rice field. They asked the future teller. The future teller advised for human life sacrifice for water coming from canal.
      They discussed about whom life to be sacrificed.
         There would be empty court after scarifying father’s life.
          Nobody would be there to cook food after scarifying mother’s life.
         Nobody would be there to rule after scarifying elder brother’s life.
        There won’t be any direction after scarifying sister’s life.
           It was decided that the wife of younger son to be sacrificed.
They told her to go her mother’s house and come back after meeting her parents, brothers, sisters and relatives.
   The daughter in law guessed that her in law wanted her sacrifice for deity.
 She goes to her mother’s house. While she was returning she asked her mother cook Kheer (a sweet rice pudding) for last time.
She asked her Bhabhi to do her make up for last time. Her mother was sad by listening inauspicious words from her daughter. 
Though knowing that her in law wanted to sacrifice her life, she returned from her mother’s house.
 They took sacrificed her life to deity. Now, water started reaching to paddy fields with flow.
Her sacrifice paid the result that there was good Rice Crop.

                  Many social and cultural historians state that Gajesingh the character of this folk song (Thadya Geet) was the son of great warrior Madho Singh Bhandari. However, there is mismatch between the two that Gajesingh Bhandari the commander of Garhwali kingdom was killed in a conspiracy. This character is killed by women.

हळज़ोत का दिन  गजेसिंह 
तू हौसिया बैख गजेसिंह 
सया तीला बाखरी गजेसिंह 
छाट्ट -छाट्ट छींकदी गजेसिंह 
बड़ा बाबू का बेटा गजेसिंह 
त्यरा कानू कुंडल गजेसिंह 
त्यरा हाथ धागुला गजेसिंह 
त्वे राणि लूटली गजेसिंह 
तौन मारे त्यरो बाबू गजेसिंह 
वैर्यों को बंदाण  गजेसिंह 
त्वे ठौन्ऱी मारला गजेसिंह 
आज न भोळ गजेसिंह 
भौं कुछ ह्वे जैन गजेसिंह 
मर्द मरि जाण गजेसिंह 
बोल रइ जाण गजेसिंह 

          Young Gajesingh was ready to go Ranihat to take revenge of his father’s murder. The queens of Ranihat killed father of Gajesingh.
           Mother of Gajesingh advised Gajesingh not to go to Ranihat.
The mother says – we have decided the auspicious plough day.
O Gajesingh! You don’t go to Ranihat.
O Gajesingh! You are elite family’s son.
O Gajesingh! You are handsome young man.
 O Gajesingh! Your ears have rings; your hands are full of metal rings.
O Gajesingh! Don’t go to Ranihat.
O Gajesingh! You would be killed by wicked women of Ranihat.
O Gajesingh! In past, your father was also killed by wicked women.
O Gajesingh! Our enemies are those wicked women.
O Gajesingh! Don’t go to Ranihat.
O Gajesingh! You would be killed by wicked women of Ranihat.
O Gajesingh! Don’t go to Ranihat.
O Gajesingh!  Tila goat sneezed. Now after sneezing of goat is inauspicious to go Ranihat.
My dear Mother! I shall go Ranihat.
My dear Mother! Hurdles can’t stop me going to Ranihat. 
My dear Mother! Nobody is immortal and I shall go Ranihat.
My dear Mother! Promise by me as Rajput means I have to go Ranihat.
My dear Mother! It is not proper for a man to alter his words.
My dear Mother! Man dies but his promise/words remain here in the earth.
 The story is that Gajesingh goes to Ranihat and he was killed by wicked women.

             The present folktale in folk song form is popular folk story. The story is sung in folk song form and dancers dance in Jhoda/Jhora dance type. Classes of folk song experts name this song as agriculture or work folk song.

सौन की डुंगरा में मोतिया सौन,
उंकी रानी गंगा सौन्यान।
तिन जो थ्या अपुत्री थ्या
तनुलै  देवता का नाम ले ढुंग्या पुज्यान।
अर तीर्था का नाम लै रोड़ा नायान।
तबलै तिनरो पुत्र भ्यो।
बारै बीसी बरस को मोतिया सौन।
सात बिसी बरस की गंगा सौन्यान।
गंगा सौन्यानी नौ पाटी नवाली।
पानी भरन राति राति गैन।
तैकि सोरी  भेड़ी वा तैकि जाइज्याद।
को बंटवारा करन मरै छना।
उन बात गंगा सौन्यानी का काना पड़ी गैन।
तब सौन्यान चुपचाप हात धोइ बरैन।
और तांबा को घड़ो भरि बरनै
अपना घर सौना की डूंगार खी वापिस ऊंछिना।
तब बाट मनि उनरो हियो भरि भरि ऊंछ।
और रूनी रूनी घर पूजी वटे
मोतिया सौन थे सब बात पुछीन।
और दिन भरी . विलाप में काटी बटे
रात खिन एक कमरा में दुसरा में पडिगयान।
दुया रात भरि , सोच में पडि भुकरी रुंनाम

            Motiya Saun and his wife Ganga Saunyani lived in Son ki Dungri. They were childless. They worshipped every stone and took bath into all rivers and rivulets. However, they could not father child.
            Both were quite old. Motiya was two hundred forty years old and Ganga was one hundred forty years old. One day, Ganga went to Naula (water source). Her women relatives were discussing about the distribution of Property Motiya-Ganga.
           Without speaking with women she returned back home. Ganga Saunyani was very much upset with relative behavior. In night, Ganga Saunyani saw dream. In dream she saw a Jogi (sage) who told her that they worshipped stones and rivers but they did not visit Jhankarsem, The Sage told Ganga Saunyani that when she and her husband would perform Jhankarsem they would get a son.  In dream, the sage to make her sure told that a rotten tree would be green by morning.
      In morning Ganga Saunyani and Motiya Saun saw that the tree was green. By looking at the tree both became young.
       Then both with all worshipping items, started journey towards Jhankar. They took with them the priest for performing animal sacrifice and drum player Dharma Das.
 They both performed ritual at the temple of Jhankarsem. After some time, they got a son.

पैलि गढ़ देस त्वेकू नमस्कार छ।
तेरी हम पर दया-दृष्टि अपार छ।।
तेरी छाया मा हमकू बड़ी मौज छ।
वीर-पुत्र की तेरी फ़ौज खड़ी छ।।
पैलि उन्नीस सौ पन्द्र का लाम मा।
जर्मनी -फ़्रांस का घोर संग्राम मा।।
सात सागर तरी देश का काकू।
जाति का अर ब्वे बाबु का नाम कु।।
राठ मा गोठ गौं कु अमर सिंह छयो।
फ्रांस की लड़ाई मा भर्ती ह्वैकि गयो।।
ब्यो करी घर मू, लाम पर दौड़ी गे।
भार्या वे कि छे देवकी नाम की।।
वा सती छै बड़ी भक्त ही राम की।
सास  ससुरा की सेवा मा रांदी छई।
कैक मुख पर नजर नि लगांदी छई।।
स्वामी का नाम को व्रत लेंदी छई।
भूखा प्यासों तई भीख देंदी छई।
जब कभी स्वामी की याद आंदी छई।
रात दिन रुंदी बितांदी छई।।
   
           There was fierce war going on between France and German. Amar Singh of Goth village of Rath region of Garhwal enrolled in British army. After marriage he went to France for fighting for British in the war (1915). His wife Devki was with her in laws.
                  No news came of Amar Singh for many months. Devki used to remember her husband.
         After some time, news came that her husband is killed in the war.  Devki was now widow. She started passing her time as virtuous and religious widow.

 It was evening time. The villagers had come back to houses after works. Some women were busy cooking food, some were milking the cows.
                  In that time, a Heeng/asafetida seller Kabuliwala came in the village. He was fearful. Nobody gave him shelter. Devki offered him food too.
                 Devki’s house was far away from main village. Kind hearted Devki provided him a ground floor room for spending a night.
  Devki slept on first floor.
        At midnight, Devki heard that Kabuliwala was knocking doors and Kabuliwala was threatening that if she does not open door, he would kill her. Kabuliwala broke the door. Kabuliwala was with a knife. Kabuliwala wanted to rape her.
    It was ‘do and die situation’ for Devki. She took her sickle and beheaded Kabuliwala.

                 This Kumaoni folk song is sung by women in group at the time of Jyoti festival.  They also dance with song. The story folk song is about faith, persuasion, aim, objectives and braveness.

                 नंदू बालो

जाना , जाना , नंदू बालो , घर चली जालो,
कर इजू सांचि ज्युनार ए,
हम ले जाणो इजू मेरि चौगंगा पार,
कर इजू सांचि ज्युनार ए,
को त्वे बाला रे बाटो देखालो,
को त्वे बाला रे जमुन तरालो ए।
आँखा जोंला बाटो देखालो,
जंघा जोंला जमुन तरालो ए।
उति को उठो बालो मेरि बारूड़ि का घर,
बुणि दे बारूड़ि सोंच कुरड़ि ए।
उति को उठो बालो मेरा लोहार का घर,
गाड़ि दे लोहार कन्यारी कड़याल ए ,
 उति को उठो बालो मेरि नागनी का घर,
टिपि दे नागनी मासी को फूल ए,
कि तु बाला रे जुआ  हार ए,
ना मैं नागनी मासी दुख्यायो,
ना मै नागनी जुआ हार ए।
मासी का फूल की पूजा नि हुंनी,
ली जा बाला रे पड्याँ का फूल ए।
ली जा बाला रे झाडिया पडिया,
ली जा बाला रे पड़याँ की पाती ए।
म्यारा मामा कंस राजा का ज्यूंति पूजा,
वाँ रे चैनी मासी का फूल ए।
                Son of Nandu (Nandu Balo or Krishna) says to his mother that she should cook tasty most food. He has to go to pluck flowers far away from here. Nandu Balo says that he has to go for flowers for Jyoti Puja at his maternal uncle Kansha’s house.
       Nandu Balo (Krishna) goes to basket maker for making basket. He goes to ironsmith for making arms.
  His mother says,” How would you go for flowers so far? Who will show you the road to flower forest? Who will cross you Yamuna River?”
   Krishna replies,” My eyes will show me road. My legs will cross me Yamuna River.”
   Passing all hurdles, Nandu Balo (Krishna) reaches to Naglok. He requests the Nagin for awakening Nag as there is Jyoti Parv at Kansha’s house. He needed fresh Masi flowers.
Nagin asks,” Have you been beaten by your step mother?”
Nandu Balo replies in negative.
Nagin asks,” have you lost in gambling?”
Nandu Balo replies in negative.
Nagin asks,” Have you lost the path?”
Krishna replies in negative and persuaded that he would take Masi flowers for Jyoti Parva at maternal uncle’s house.
Nagin says that he can take Payinya flowers or flowers those are fallen on the garden.
Krishna replies that Payinya flowers are not used in Jyoti Puja neither the flowers fallen on ground.
Krishna told that he would put his foot on Nag head and would pluck fresh Masi flowers.
Then Nandu Balo (Krishna) put his foot on Nag head and plucked fresh Masi flowers for Jyoti Puja.
 The folk songs also prove for respect for Krishna in the region.

             Khima Nand Sharma wrote along poetry on the basis of folktales .The book was published by Kumauni Sahitya Sadan, Delhi, 1980.
  The events of story are from Gujdu Kot, Salt area of Almora.
The story starts as -


                     कुमाऊं, गढ़वाल ,हरिद्वार  की लोक गाथाएँ  -63       

                            गढ़वाल , कुमाऊं ,  हरिद्वार, की मानवीय संवेदना आधारित  लोक गाथाएँ -10

         वीर बालक हरु हीत
 गोरखा लै जित जब अल्मोड़ा गढ़वाल।।
तै बखत समर सिंह गुज्डू कोट मज,
सात च्यल सात ब्वारी चार पट्टी रज।।
तल्ली पट्टी सल्ट मज समरू छी हीत।
कस छी  बखता भया कसी छी ओ रीत ..
गज्डू कोट सल्ट मज छिय तैंक बसनाम।
चार दिन दुनिया में चले गया नाम।
सात च्याल , सात ब्वारी खूब झर फर।
चार पट्टी मालिक छ कैकी निहै डर।
कुणखेत बारैड़ में कमै खणी स्यरा।
गज्डू कोट मज है रै अनधनै ढेरा।
भारी सुख चैन हैरी भारी छी सम्पति।
जब आनी  बुरा दिन बैठी जै कुमति।
सात च्याला समरू का भारी शूरबीर।
आई गय अभिमान निल्यना खातिर।
आणियाँ जाणियाँ लोग है गई हैरान।
हमारी पुकार न्है जो इश्वरा दरबार।
गज्डू कोट मज हैरो कस अत्याचार।। 

             Samar Singh of Gujdu Kot had seven sons and seven daughters in laws. They were very prosperous with crops and domestic animals. They seven brothers become proud and started harassing common men. People were afraid to go here and there due to their oppressive deeds. People of Gujdu Garh were miserable and God heard their voices. There was epidemic in the region. All the seven brothers fell ill and died. At last, Samar Singh died too by shock.
              Samar Singh had a younger child Haru Heet. All widow sisters in laws and mother were now dependent on him. 
     When Haru Heet became young, he told to his sister in laws that he was going to Talla Salt to collect tax from farmers under his territories. He ordered in Salt to pay tax. All farmers obeyed his order. Now, the farmers requested Haru Heet to find bride for him.
       The news reached to his sisters in laws through an enemy. The enemy Haiti told his sisters in laws that now wife of Haru Heet would rule on those seven women.
     All the sisters in law started walking away from their hose. They reached to Chanikhet. There were two brothers who had herds of buffalos- Hama and Dhama. Two brothers met these seven women.  They took those seven widow women for them. Seven widow women were enjoying milk and milk products.
               When Haru returned to his home he found that his sisters in laws were missing. Haru Heet went for search of his sister in laws.  He reached to Chanikhet.
  Haru Heet asked his sisters in laws to come back. However, Hama and Dhama resisted. There was fierce fight between Hama-Dhama and Haru Heet. They killed Haru Heet.
             He goes to his mother in dream. His mother got him alive. Haru Heet killed Hama and Dhama.
  Haru Heet brought back his sisters in laws.
           Jealously, furiously, his sisters in laws advised him to marry Malu Rauteli of Bhot country. Haru Heet was ready to go Bhot des. His mother cautioned him not go Bhot des as in habitants of Bhot Des are having black magic.
              On an auspicious day, Haru Heet started his journey for Bhot Des. Crossing many hills, and rivers, Heet reached to Bhot Des. First he visits the Goddess temple and prays to Devi. There he meets Malu Rauteli. Haru Heet tells her his motto for coming Bhot Des.
                Malu Rauteli hid Haru by magic power in her palace.
        Kalu Sauk the father of Malu Rauteli comes to know about Haru Heet hiding the palace of his daughter. He attacks to Haru by magic power. Malu diffused her father’s magic power.
         Haru Heet comes in open to fight with Kalu Sauk. Haru Heet killed Kalu Sauk and his soldiers.
     Haru Heet and Malu Rauteli came back with wealth to Gujdu Kot. On the way, Haru Heet offered a gold umbrella to Bageshwar Devi. 
  One day, Haru Heet went to Bhabhar with his goats. His sisters in law dumped Malu Rauteli into lake. Malu comes in the dram of Haru Heet and tells the truth.

  Haru Heet comes to his village and killed his sister in laws. At the end, he also ends his own life.
This way it is  sad end of story.

Ratnuvan aur Panja Gatha: A Kumaoni Folk Song of Love and Bravery Tale

            The present Kumaoni lyrical folk story is based on quite old folklore. In this story there is love, bravery, continents, and mention of fight between buffalos as folk game.


कुमाऊं, गढ़वाल ,हरिद्वार  की लोक गाथाएँ  -64

              रतनुवां और पाँजा गाथा

 सात दिना रात हैगी रतनुवां भड़ कणी,
घोड़ी सादि बेर ल्या छ, सूरज बंसी घोड़ी।
अब पाँजा रौतेली की पुछण फैगो छ
तब रतनुवाँ भड़ कणि सोच पडि गया।
दिलै में सोचलो मनै में रचलो,
तब बैटी तैले पाँजा रौतेली
नामा को जोग करि  है।
ओ लैणी लकुड़ी तैल गेरू रंगै है छ,
तब बदन भभूत रमायो खैरुवा झोलीहात।
तेजमल सोटो, हरिद्वार कंकण पैरी,
घर घर कुड़ी, कुड़ी पांजी नाम को अलख जगालो,
दिसी दिसी मुलूक घुमनै
न्है पूजी गयो ओ सेली सौक्याण।
पाँजा रौतेली को करयो छीयो परण;
जब कब म्यारा भड़ मेरी खोज आलो,
तो तैको गमको तैल दान दिणु करि राखो
ततुका बीच मै न्है गो रतनुवां पांजा को भेंट है गे घाट
तौ सेली सौक्याण माजी तनरी है गो हल्ल।
                  In a village folk game competition, there was fight between buffalos of Ratnuvan and Panja. The buffalos of Ratnuvan beat buffalos of Panja. Panja felt insulted after her buffalos defeat.   
                 Ratnuvan fell in love with beauty of Panja. Ratnuvan asks her introduction and finds that she belongs to Sangramikot.   
          Ratnuvan reached to Sangramikot and meets her father Sangrami Rautela. Ratnuvan requests to Sangrami Rautela for his wish marrying with Panja. Panja’s father puts a condition for knowing the bravery of Ratnuvan. Sangrami Rautela tells to Ratnuvan to catch a Suryavanshi mare and should come riding on her. 
         Ratnuvan goes in search for Suryavanshi mare and takes seven days for search and training her. Ratnuvan comes back to Sangramikot. There, he comes to know that Panja’s arranged Panja’s marriage with to man of Saukyan des.
               Ratnuvan formulates a strategy. Ratnuvan changes his dress and becomes sage. With saffron dress, ashes on mouth, Hardwari ear rings, with Chimta; Ratnuvan was as good as sage.
           Ratnuvan reaches to Saukyan des. Panja had taken a fast and vow that till she meets Ratnuvan. Ratnuvan meets Panja. The whole Saukyan people come to know about love between Ratnuvan and Panja.
             The brave people of Saukyan des were furious for love between the two. They wanted to kill Ratnuvan. Ratnuvan defeated all and takes Panja with him.
     Father of Panja becomes ready for the marriage between Panja and Ratnuvan. The marriage process of reaches to Diglikot and in Diglikot   parents and relatives of Ratnuvan greet bride and groom with enthusiasm and happiness. There was happiness everywhere. .

            The present story is related to brave Bhad Madho Singh Bhandari who dug the tunnel to bring water canal up to his village Maletha. Usually, Bhad Madho Singh Bhandari of Garhwal army and Bhad Madho Singh Bhandari of Maleth village are said to be same. However, the history does not match with folk sayings for two great personalities being same.

 मलेथा की कूल:  समाज सेवा गाथा
(Tal-Thadya Geet)

धौळि का छालु पल्ले किनारो,
उंच माँगे मलेथा क सेरो,
सैणु छ, स्वाणु रौंतेलु गौं च।
एक दिन छ्यू भूखो मलेथो,
आज सि पाणि सेरो कुल्यांदो,
तै दिनों छैयु नि स्यो मलेथो।
कोटू गत्थूक गाँव छया,

दूर बटी सारि मुंडा मुगैई,

माधु भंडारी मासूर छैयो।

              One day, Bhad Madho Singh Bhandari returned to his village from court. He was tired. Bhad Madho Singh Bhandari asked his sister in law for meal. His sister in law offered him bread without vegetable. Unhappily, he asked vegetable. Sarcastically, his sister in law tells that there is no water canal in his village that the villagers would enjoy vegetable a s spinach, onion, garlic and other green vegetables.
                          Madho Singh Bhandari felt insulted. He tells his sister in law to dig canal. She tells that it is the job of men to dig canal.
            Second day, Madho Singh Bhandari reached to court. The court men insulted him that there is no water canal in his village.
              Madho Singh Bhandari took vow to get water canal in his village.
                There was a hill in between Chandrabhaga River and his village. Bhandari performed necessary rituals. Bhandari took necessary appliances and started digging tunnel to get Chandrabhaga water to his village Maleth. Slowly, slowly he started to cut hill for making tunnel. After watching his hard work, villagers also came to help him.
            One day, he took his son Gaje Singh with him.  He and villagers were busy in cutting the hill for making tunnel. In the mean time a stone ascended on the head of Gaje Singh.  Gaje Singh died there only. He completed the work of tunnel making work on the same day.
              Water started reaching to Maleth from Chandrabhaga River.
              Now Maletha village was able to grow various types of vegetables and rice.
 कसो छ भंडारी तेरो मलेथा ?
गौं मूड़ को सेरो मेरा मलेथा।
गौं मथे मेरा मलेथा।
ऐ जाणू रुकमा मेरा मलेथा।
पाळिङ्गा की बाड़ी मेरा मलेथा।
लासण की क्यारी मेरा मलेथा।

             Madho Singh Bhandari is one the great Indian personalities who showed the world about taking cause till it is finished.

            Believing on fairies is common belief in all regions. For example, in Irish folk literature there is mention of that fairies were both feared and respected. The si or Irish fairies were is invisible for mortals; fairies lived in chariot and were involved in human activities. Many calamities were believed due to curses of fairies. The Irish folk literature mentions that there was tension between fairies and mortals. The boys used to dress females dress for protecting them from fairies as it was believed that fairies would choose boys before girls.
         In Ravain too, the people believe on worshipping fairies by Jagar.
         It is believed that Anchheri or Matri or fairies are unmarried young girls died before marriage. That is why they enter into body of men or young men. When, future teller informs to perform ritual for Anchheri. The family arranges Ghadela for worshipping Anchheri/Matri/Fairy
     The following Jagar is just copy of average Garhwali Anchheri Jagar and Dance except that the dialects are of Ramolti language.

तो को रंग -रंगीलो सजीलो डोला देऊ।
काजरारी आंख्युं क काजल देऊ।
पूजिक तोकू घर पठाऊ।
सासर जनों भेजऊँतोउ।
हामू दिउ तो तोके द्वफरी देऊ।

 O Matri/Anchheri/Fairy! We shall offer you Dola (closed liter).
O Matri/Anchheri/Fairy! We shall offer you Kajal for your beautiful yes.
O Matri/Anchheri/Fairy! We shall offer you invitation.
O Matri/Anchheri/Fairy! We shall offer you worship.
O Matri/Anchheri/Fairy! We shall offer you rice Arsa and  Swala (Puri and rice sweet).
