डा दाधीच ने राजस्थानी लोक गीतों का अध्ययन किया और उन्हें संकलित किया।  उनकी पुस्तक में भाग्य  वाद लोक गीत इस प्रकार है -
पीब जी बसे दिसावरां हमें देइ छिटकाय।
कागद हो तो बांच ल्यूं करम न बाँच्यो जाय।।
जहां उपरोक्त गीत में अवहेलना को भाग्य का फल बताया है वहीं रानी लक्ष्मी कुमारी चूंड़ावत द्वारा सम्पादित पुस्तक 'राजस्थानी लोक गीत' में एक वियोगिनी भाग्य की परिभाषा इस प्रकार व्याख्या करती है -
टावर व्हे तो पिया राखलूं जी जीवन राख्यो न जाय
अब घर आय जावो फूल गुलाब  रा जी
कागद ह्वे तो  पिया  बांचलूं करम नीं बाँच्यो जाय।

ऐसा माना जाता है कि हर किसी का अपना अपना भाग्य है।  किसी को कुछ मिलता है तो दूसरे को  मिलता।
एक रवाँई क्षेत्र का यह गीत भाग्य के सिद्धांत को इस तरह दर्शाता है -

कासी की बाट्टा की डोखरी,
कासी कू जडिया साग,
कासी कू बंठिया बौरील
कासी कू पेट कुड़िया भाग।

किसी के रास्ते का खेत है
किसी का सरसों का साग
किसी का अच्छा पति है
किसी के पास भाग्य है ,पेट में बच्चे हैं।

                                 उत्तर पूर्व व राजस्थान लोक साहित्य के जगविख्यात मर्मज्ञ डा जगमल सिंह  सत्य है कि लोक गीतों में यथार्थ -चित्रण के साथ ही कल्पना  अतिरेक भी मिलता है।

 लोक गीतों में एक कहावत  "मन के लड्डू फीके तो थोड़े क्यों ?" चरितार्थ होती है।  निम्न राजस्थानी गीत 'ईसर जी ' ( सन्दर्भ -चूंडावत )  में कल्पना का अतिरेक है।
  राजस्थानी लोक गीत में 'गौरी से बोला जाता है कि तुम्हारे लिए सोने जैसा वर लायें।  पडले (गढ़वाली में बरडाली, वर पक्ष से भेंट ) में वर सवा मन चांदी , सवा मन मोती , सवा मन सिंदूर , सवा मन रोली देगा।

कौ तो गौरी दे थारें आदित वर  वरां
ओ देवी सवा मण सोनो वर रे पड़लै चढ़े
ओ देवी सवा मण रूपों  वर रे पड़लै चढ़े
ओ देवी सवा मण मोती वर  रे पड़लै चढ़े
ओ देवी सवा मण सिंदूर वर  रे पड़लै चढ़े
ओ देवी सवा मण रोली  रे पड़लै चढ़े

                                         गढ़वाली-कुमाउंनी  लोकगीतों में कल्पना

कल्पना में कृपणता नही की जाती है।  गढ़वाली कुमाउंनी लोक गीतों में भी अतिशयोक्ति भरी पडी है ,  समय समय पर दर्शाते जायेंगे।  निम्न गढ़वाली-कुमाउंनी गीत भी 'गौरा -भवानी ' संबंधित गीत है जिसमे अतिशयोक्ति की कल्पना अंत में की गयी है।


           गौरा भवानी
गौरा मेरि देवि , जै जै बोला। 
मेरी गौरा भवानि ,जै जै बोला।
तेरी जाति को  आयो, जै जै बोला।
गौरा मेरि देवि , जै जै बोला।
भेंट कु क्य ल्हायो ?जै जै बोला।
हे गौरा भवानि ,जै जै बोला।
सोबन धुपाणी ,जै जै बोला।
ओ लौंग सुपारी ,जै जै बोला।
तेरी जातरा को   आयो, जै जै बोला।
गौरा मेरि देवि , जै जै बोला।

मोतियों से भरा थाळ ,जै जै बोला।

                   When literacy was in scarcity, society was transferring its knowledge specially management knowledge through folk literature.  It might be true that folk literature was the only source of managing the management training in the past societies of Garhwal-Kumaon and Haridwar.
                      When this author’s book on Garhwali folk tales ‘Garhwal ki Lok Kathayen’ was published and a couple of critics criticized the author on his introductory notes in Hindi daily Hindustan Delhi and Nav Bharat Times Delhi. This author stated that in reality, the Folk Tales are the source of teaching Management to new generation by senior generation. While critics remarked that folk tales are something different than management teaching.
                This author is still of opinion that one of objectives Folk literature and sayings is to carry the teaching of management.
   This author, on following chapters would discuss the different management skills found in Garhwali and Kumaoni folk Literature.
