NEW DELHI: Veteran broadcaster Devki Nandan Pandey, whose newsreading motivated a whole generation of broadcasters, died in Mumbai on Tuesday. ?He was a newscaster par excellence. In his death the broadcasting community has lost a great exponent of the art of communication,? Information and Broadcasting Minister Sushma Swaraj said in condolence message. Pandey, besides broadcasting, also acted in films and television serials including the famous ?Tamas?. PTI
