Dwarika Prasad Dhulia : Eminent Canvasses Panter
Madanpur Dhulgaon two twin villages are well known villages of Langur Patti Pauri Garhwal . Many famous personalities belong two villages . Great freedom fighter, former member of UP legislator assembly , editor of famous weekly Karmbhumi Bhairab Datt Dhulia belongs to these twin villages. Justice Dhulia, Editor of weekly Tarun Bharat Rishikesh , Yogeshwar Prasad Dhulia, Film Director T.Dhulia, film actress Abha Dhulia belong to Madanpur-Dhulgaon. These two twin villages are also famous for Dwarika Prasad Dhulia ‘s birth place . Dwarika Prasad Dhulia was born in 1923 in Madanpur village
After passing five years course in Fine Art from Kala v Shilp Mahavidyalay Lucknow, Dwarika Prasad Dhulia joined as Asst professor of fine art in Allahabad University where he worked for fourteen years, later on he joined Gorakhpur University where he retired as department head of fine art and craft in 1983.
He exhibited his art work in Allahabad (1947, 1949, 1956,1972), Lansdown (1950), Mussoorie (1952), Varansi ( 19540, Neonatal (1968), Delhi , other places of the country and a couple of places in foreign countries as England. His works is available in various Indian art museums and in England.
Many newspapers and Magazines as Illustrated Weekly, Dharmyug, Hindustan Times , Gyanodaya, Dinman, Times of India, carried out articles on his works.
He published a very knowledgeable book in Hindi Chitra Darshan (Ajanta caves) and tens of articles on art and craftsmanship of India.
Up government, all India fine Art Society honored him.
He created around 700 Canvasses paintings . Approximately, 200 paintings were sold to art museums of India and abroad.
