   Manorath Joshi : An Internationally Famous Painter of His Time
                                     Bhishma Kukreti
       Manorath Joshi was famous painter and artist of his time. Joshi was born in 1909 in Saindhar village and Saindhar Patti of Pauri Garhwal.
 He took his education in art   in School of Art, Lucknow and became afree lancer artist and painter.
 His many works was published in famous magazines as Madhuri . Manorath Joshi  exhibited his painting and other art works in national and international level art exhibitions. The art critics appreciated his work as genius of emotions.
The art lovers can see his  his paintings in British Museum of Art London. Jeevan Maran, Vandevi and Pratiksha are his very famous paintings.

 Kalyan Singh Chauhan :A Masonry ,Architecture Expert  and City Planner
                                     Bhishma Kukreti
                   Kalyan Singh Chauhan was born in 1896 in a village Dangi of Manyarsyun of Pauri Garhwal.  He got art education and training in School of Art in Lucknow. After finishing his art studies, Kalyan Singh Chauhan joined the institution as teacher there. .Klayan Singh became head of department of School of Art Lucknow and he was so competent head of department that even after his retirement, his service as head of department was extended for six years.
  Kalyan Singh Chauhan  became famous masonry and architecture  art and he made plans for  many government buildings    and cities of United Province.
 Kalyan Singh Chauhan expired  on 1st October 1969 in Lucknow.

                                     Prince  Kunvar Vichitra Shah : The Great  Garhwali Art Lover and  Garhwali Art Patron

       Art, art creator, literature creative require patrons to support in development and protection of art and literature.  There are many types of art patrons as purchasers, supporting personalities by arranging publicity etc for art and literature. Prince Kunvar Vichitra Shah was one of great patrons and lovers of Garhwal art specially paintings. Prince Kunvar Vichitra Shah was second son of Garhwali King Pradyumn Shah . Prince Vichitra Shah was born in 1880 in Thri Fort then the capital of Garhwal riyasat.
 Bichitra Shah was lover of Garhwali paintings and book  He collected many Garhwali paintings and he saw that many paintings are printed in magazines and newspapers of other area that Garhwali art get recognition. He used to invite art critics to his place in Tihri as well as in Dehradun to show them Garhwali paintings  that art critics write about Garhwali paintings .
  His art collections are in Bharat Kala Bhawan Banaras/kashi, Tihri Museum and in the personal museum of his eldest son  Rao Birendra Shah  .
    Prince Kunvar Vichitra Shah expired on 1st November 1933 in Dehradun.

                     Dwarika Prasad Dhulia : Eminent Canvasses Panter   
   Madanpur Dhulgaon two twin villages are well known villages of Langur  Patti Pauri Garhwal . Many famous personalities belong two villages . Great freedom fighter, former member of UP legislator assembly , editor of famous weekly Karmbhumi Bhairab Datt Dhulia belongs to these twin villages. Justice Dhulia, Editor of weekly Tarun Bharat Rishikesh , Yogeshwar Prasad Dhulia, Film Director T.Dhulia, film actress Abha Dhulia belong to Madanpur-Dhulgaon.  These two twin villages are also famous for Dwarika Prasad Dhulia ‘s birth place . Dwarika Prasad Dhulia was born in 1923 in Madanpur village
 After passing five years course in Fine Art  from Kala v Shilp Mahavidyalay Lucknow,  Dwarika Prasad Dhulia  joined as Asst professor of fine art in  Allahabad University where he worked for fourteen years, later on he joined Gorakhpur University where he retired as department head of fine art and craft in 1983.
  He exhibited his art work in  Allahabad (1947, 1949, 1956,1972),  Lansdown (1950), Mussoorie (1952), Varansi ( 19540, Neonatal (1968), Delhi  , other places of the country and a couple of places in foreign countries as England. His works is available in various Indian art museums and in England.
Many newspapers and  Magazines as Illustrated Weekly, Dharmyug, Hindustan Times , Gyanodaya, Dinman, Times of India, carried out articles on his works.
  He published a very knowledgeable book  in Hindi Chitra Darshan (Ajanta caves) and tens of articles on art and craftsmanship of India.
    Up government, all India fine Art Society honored him.
  He created around 700 Canvasses paintings . Approximately, 200 paintings were sold to art museums of India and abroad.

         Prabha Panwar  : Profound Home-Art and Home Craft Artist
                                               Bhishma Kukreti
              Prabha Panwar is wife of world famous sculpture Avatar Singh Panwar . Prabha was born on 12 January 1932 in Gwalior Central Province (Madhy Pradesh). She completed her Diploma in Fine Arts from Shanti Niketan Bengal and got training in Batik art too.
  Prabha  took the responsibility in decoration for the All India Congress Conferences in  Bokari dam, Kalyani and Kolkatta and got appraisals for her simplicity, attractive decoration of Pandals (stages)  for conferences from prominent Indian leaders of freedom fight.
    Prabha  taught art in Raghunath Kanya Mahavidyalay Meerut.
 Prabha Panwar  She joined the art department  of Lucknow Kala aur Shilp Mahavidyalay as in charge of Art, Home art and Home craft of in 1960,
 Prabha panwar exhibited her Home-Craft works  part in many Ekal Pradarshani ( One Man Show) and other exhibitions in many places in India and abroad.
  Prabha Panwar  got appreciation and awards from  Uttar Pradesh Art Academy , Kala veethika Kanpur, Contemporary Art Exhibition Voltaire, All India hand Craft Borad Delhi .
 Prabha Panwar  visited many countries and exhibited her works there.
 Prabha Panwar helped her husband  Avatar singh Panwar in achieving the glory in Sculpture art. Prabha used to visit Garhwal along with her husband and she contributed in development of art in Garhwal.

       Mukul Panwar  : A Fine Sculpture Artist   
                       Bhishma Kukreti
         Mukul Panwar was born in Tihri in 1950.  Mukul got diploma in Clay Modeling from  Lucknow Kala evm Shilp Mahavidyalay and later on did graduation in Sculpture art from the same college.
                 Mukul  worked as sculpture artist in National  Art Museum Delhi at very higher post .
 Mukul Panwar participated in tens of one man show and other exhibitions in India and abroad as in uttar Pradesh lalit Kala Pradarshani Lucknow, Kendriya Lalit Kala Akadami Delhi, Lalit Kala evm Shilp Society Delhi.
    Kala evam Shilp Mahavidyalay Lucknow, U P Artists Association , All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society Delhi, Sahity Kala Parishad Delhi, Uttar Pradesh Rajy Kala Parishad Lucknow, Kendriy Kala Akadami  Delhi awarded Mukul Panwar for his remarkable works in art  by various titles and scholarships. Greece government offered Mukul a research scholarship (1982-83) for art development.
 The works of Mukul is available at various Indian Museums and in museums of other countries too.

             Veer Singh Parmar : Sculpture Artist

  Veer Singh Parmar was born in Garhwal who passed Diploma in Art and Crafts from Lucknow college of Art and Crafts in 1968 and got post graduate degree from the same college.
  Veer Singh Parmar joined Lucknow Art and Craft college as Sculpture Art as lecturer . From 1969, Veer Singh have been exhibiting  his art of sculpture regularly at various places in India. Many organizations and institutions honored the fine works of Veer Singh Parmar

             Dinesh Badoni : A Fine Painter
                           Bhishma Kukreti
            Born in 1942 in Garhwal, Dinesh Badoni  passed Bachelor of Fine Art from Delhi University after passing M A from Merut University. Initially Dinesh Badoni  exhibited as one man show his paintings in Pauri, Shridharani Art Gallery, Asoka Hotel, Central cottage , Triveni Art Beethika etc. Later on Dinesh  Badoni have been exhibiting his art works in various places. Many museums are storing his works of art .

                 Jagmohan Bangani : An Expert of Using Scripts for Painting
                                        Bhishma Kukreti
  Jagmohan Bangani was born in village Bangan of Garhwal. Jagmohan passed his post graduation in Drawing and Painting from D A V College Dehradun in 2000. Later on he competed another post graduation degree MFA Painting from Winchester School of Art  , Winchester, United kingdom. Many organizations had been offering him scholarships and awards for carrying out researches and other artful works as Research Scholarship by Lalit Kala Akadami , New Delhi (2002), Uttaranchal State AIFACS , New Delhi (2002), Fort Foundation fellowship International fellowship Program, New York, USA (2006) .
        Jagmohan is expert of using scripts in creating characters.
Jagmohan Bangani exhibited his works in solo exhibition (Dehradun, New Delhi)  and in group exhibitions (Dehradun, Delhi, Iceland, Winchester )  as well.
 Jagmohan Banagani also attended many art camps
 The art collections of Jagmohan could be found in many galleries, private collections houses,  and museums of Uttaranchal, Delhi, USA and U.K
