There are various tourist places in Uttarakhand which are un-discovered and required to be promoted. In every district of UK, there are various tiny tourist spots in Uttarakhand which are less known to people to due to various seasons.

We would give information about such places of Uttarakhand here. This may even include name of some popular place and some village areas.

Darun

Darun is a small town in Bageshwar District of Uttaranchal. It is situated near the state highway connecting Sang and Bageshwar. The town is bounded by Kapkot, Harsila, Dophar, Nayali and Pharsali.
Bageshwar is the nearest major town. Some of the nearby tourist attractions are Sundardunga Glacier, Gauri Udiyar Temple and Shri Haru Temple.

Darun can be accessed by regular bus services from Bageshwar. The nearest airport and railway station are Pant Nagar Airport and Kathgodam Railway Station.

Dophar ( Bageshwar District)

Dophar is a small settlement, which lies near Chaunra in Bageshwar District of Uttaranchal. Bajigaon, Harsila, Darun, Nayali, Tharap, Kanda and Syakot are located nearby.
Bageshwar is the nearest major town and is easily accessible from here. The state highway connecting Sang and Bageshwar passes close to this place. The nearby tourist attractions are Sundardunga Glacier, Shri Haru Temple and Gauri Udiyar Temple.

By road, Dophar is well connected to Bageshwar. Pant Nagar Airport and Kathgodam Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.

Tharap (Bageshwar District)

Tharap is in Bageshwar District, Uttaranchal. Bageshwar is the nearest major town. Shri Haru Temple, Sundardunga Glacier and Gauri Udiyar Temple are the nearest tourist attractions.
The state highway connecting Bageshwar and Berinag in Pithoragarh District passes through Tharap. The nearby places are Kanda, Sani Udiyar, Syakot, and Chaunra.

Regular bus services connect Tharap with Bageshwar. Kathgodam Railway Station and Pant Nagar Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.

Sirkot is a small settlement, which lies near Pajena in Bageshwar District of Uttaranchal. The state highway connecting Pajena and Gwaldam(in Chamoli District) passes nearby. The nearest major town is Bageshwar. Baijnath, the place famous for the temple complex built by the Katyuri kings, is easily accessible from here. Agarkot, Sengad, Thakala, and Simgadi are the nearby places. Sirkot is easily accessible by local buses and taxies from Bageshwar. Agarkot Bageshwar.

Agarkot is a beautiful village in Bageshwar District of Uttaranchal. The nearest major town is Bageshwar.
Forming one end of the triangular region comprising Sirkot, Sengad and Agarkot, other neighboring areas include Thakala, Pajena and Simgadi. The state highway connecting Pajena to Gwaldam (in Chamoli District) passes nearby.

Baijnath, the place famous for the temple complex built by the Katyuri kings, is easily accessible from here. The village, with its numerous trekking and hiking trails, offer great opportunities for adventure enthusiasts.

Pajena is a small town in Bageshwar District of Uttaranchal. It is situated on the state highway linking Bageshwar to Gwaldam in Chamoli District. Baijnath, the place famous for the temple complex built by the Katyuri kings, is an interesting tourist site.

Simgadi : Bageshwa

Simgadi is a small village, which lies at the border of Bageshwar District in Uttaranchal. Located far away from urban life, this area offers the best in terms of calm and solace to visitors. Bageshwar is the nearest major town.
The state highway connecting Pajena and Gwaldam(in Chamoli District) passes nearby. One can easily take a trip to Baijnath, the place famous for the temple complex built by the Katyuri kings.

Udiyar : Bageshwar

Udiyar is a rural area in Bageshwar District of Uttaranchal. Pothin, Song, Kapkot, Kanyalikot and Salyani are the localities around Udiyar. An important tributary of the Yamuna River, the Tons, flows very close to this village.
Udiyar is quite near Bageshwar and is easily accessible by regular bus services from Bageshwar. Kathgodam Railway Station serves this area. Pant Nagar Airport is the nearest airport
