Khairna

Khairna is 22 km from 17577.Ranikhet. It is situated on the 17165.Nainital route. This place is famous as a fishing center. Khairna has lush orchards and is also known for its herbal and medicinal plants. The village is set against the beautiful backdrop of the snow capped 46473 Himalayan peaks. Kande

Kande is a small settlement in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. It is situated at the district border with Bageshwar District. Didihat and Pithoragarh are the nearest major towns. The state highway connecting Gangolihat and Chaukori passes nearby.
Some of the nearby places are Berinag, Thal, Deval, Kalinag and Dharamghar. The Ramganga River, a rain-fed river originating near Gairsain in the Lesser Himalayas, flows close to this village.

Chilla

Chilla is a beautiful place of pristine scenic beauty, situated 16 km from Rishikesh, in Uttaranchal.
The place is famous for the Chilla Wildlife Sanctuary, a part of the Rajaji National Park. The park attracts large number of tourists with its rich bio-diversity and natural splendor. The best time to visit the park is from mid November to mid June.

Kunjapuri

Kunjapuri is a charming picnic spot situated at an altitude of about 1645 m above sea level, in Uttaranchal. The place offers a panoramic view of the mighty Himalayan peaks to the north and Rishikesh, Haridwar and the Doon Valley to the south. Kunjapuri is about 27 km from Rishikesh.
Kunjapuri is believed to be one of the Sidddha Peetams established by Jagadguru Shankaracharya.

Major point of attraction here is an ancient temple dedicated to Kunjapuri Devi, situated on top of the hill. The vibrant annual fair, held on the occasion of Durga Ashtami, is a major draw.

Dhorati

Dhorati, 11 km from the Munsiyari mountains, is one of the beautiful mountainous villages of Uttaranchal. It is at an altitude of 2700 m above sea level and offers a memorable experience. Chandi Ghat

Chandi Ghat is situated three kilometers from Chandi Devi Temple in Haridwar District. The Ghat lies on the banks of River Ganga. It is believed that Chanda Munda (the army chief of the local demon king, Shumbha Nishumbha) was killed by Goddess Chandi at this place. Hence the name 'Chandi.'
The place offers a panoramic view of Neel Parvat. The region is filled with dense forests. Nildhara River flows close by. Nearby interesting destinations include Maya Devi Temple, Gauri Shankar Temple, Mansa Devi Temple and Bhimgoda Kund.

Dhanaulti


Situated on the Mussoorie-Chamba route, Dhanaulti rests in the lap of nature amidst thick forest of Deodar, Rhododendron, and Oak. Baling is a rustic locality in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. At an altitude of around 10,800 ft above sea level, the mountainous terrain and surrounding areas are noted for their scenic splendor. Baling is about 9 km from Sobla and 3 km from the picturesque hamlet, Nagling.
