Urgam

Urgam is a charming village situated 8 km from Helang in Chamoli District. It lies in the Urgam Valley. Urgam lies on a flatland with farms bordered by cannabis hedges. It offers a panoramic view of high mountains and deep valleys all around. Kalpeshwar, Joshimath, Pipalkoti, Dumak and Gopeshwar are nearby tourist destinations. Jumma

SIRKHA


A  village in the border area, Sirkha is in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal.   It lies at an altitude of about 7800 ft above sea level and is noted   for its serene beauty. The village is on the trekking route connecting Dharchula and Kailash.     Sirkha is around 16 km from Pangu and 14 km from Khela. Some of the nearby places are Galagad, Jibti, Sobala, Tijam and Tawa Ghat. Kali River, a small river originating from the trans Himalayan zone, flows very close to this village. Munsiyari and Dharchula are the nearest major towns.

Galagad (Pithoragarh-Uttarakhand)

Galagad is a beautiful village in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. Munsiyari and Dharchula are the nearby major towns. Kali River, a small river originating from the trans Himalayan zone, flows very close to this village.

Some of the nearby cities and villages are Sumdum, Sela, Nagling, Baling, Galagad and Khela. An important tributary of the River Ganges, the Dhauliganga, flows close to this village. The trekking route leading to Darma Pass via Baling, begins from Sobala.

Baling

Baling is a rustic locality in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. At an altitude of around 10,800 ft above sea level, the mountainous terrain and surrounding areas are noted for their scenic splendor. Baling is about 9 km from Sobla and 3 km from the picturesque hamlet, Nagling.
