Sirkha

A village in the border area, Sirkha is in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. It lies at an altitude of about 7800 ft above sea level and is noted for its serene beauty. The village is on the trekking route connecting Dharchula and Kailash.
Sirkha is around 16 km from Pangu and 14 km from Khela. Some of the nearby places are Galagad, Jibti, Sobala, Tijam and Tawa Ghat. Kali River, a small river originating from the trans Himalayan zone, flows very close to this village. Munsiyari and Dharchula are the nearest major towns.

Jibti



Jibti, also spelt Jipti, is a small settlement in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. It is situated near the trekking route connecting Khela and Malipa. Tijam, Sela, Malipa, Sirkha, Khela, Nagling and Galagad are the nearby cities and villages.
The small river originating from the trans Himalayan zone, Kali River flows nearby. Jibti is characterised by a beautiful terrain of mountains, valleys and sparkling rivulets. Dharchula and Munsiyari are the nearby major towns.

Jibti is easily accessible from Munsiyari and Dharchula. Pant Nagar Airport and Tanakpur Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.

Galagad in Pithoragarh District


Galagad is a beautiful village in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. Munsiyari and Dharchula are the nearby major towns. Kali River, a small river originating from the trans Himalayan zone, flows very close to this village.
Some of the nearby places are Malipa, Sela, Nagling, Sobala, Sumdum, Tijam, Jibti, Sirkha and Khela.

By road, Galagad can be accessed from Dharchula. The nearest major railway station is at Tanakpur. Pant Nagar Airport serves this area.

Sumdum is a beautiful hamlet in Pithoragarh District,
Uttaranchal, lying on the banks of the Dhauliganga River, an important tributary of the River Ganges. Munsiyari and Dharchula are the nearby major towns.

Dhamigaon

Dhamigaon is a picturesque hamlet in Pithoragarh District, Uttaranchal. Characterised by mountains and valleys, Dhamigaon is an ideal getaway for the city-weary souls. The Goriganga River flowing very close to this village adds to the natural charm.

Sobala, sometimes spelt Sobla, is a picturesque hamlet in Pithoragarh District, Uttaranchal. It lies very close to Tijam and is easily accessible from Dharchula.
Some of the nearby cities and villages are Sumdum, Sela, Nagling, Baling, Galagad and Khela. An important tributary of the River Ganges, the Dhauliganga, flows close to this village. The trekking route leading to Darma Pass via Baling, begins from Sobala.

Tanakpur Railway Station and Pant Nagar Airport are the nearest points of access.

Tijam

Tijam is a rural area in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. This small village is situated near Sobala, the starting point of the trekking route to Baling. Munsiyari and Dharchula are the nearby major towns.
The Dhauliganga River, an important tributary of the River Ganges, flows very close to this village. Located in the lap of mountains and valleys, Tijam, like many other villages in Uttaranchal is an ideal location for a peaceful holiday. Trekking and climbing activities are possible for those so inclined.
