Dosto,
Askot-Aarakot Yatra is organized once after every 10 yrs by PAHAR (People Associations for Himalayas Area Research). This Yatra started first in 1974 and this year will be 5th Expedition.
The main aim of this trip is to know more about hills, its village and culture. Forest, safety, decentralisation, women education and women life, youth migration, ecological imbalances etc. Also to assess the changes during these 10 yrs.
