I want to know where is the need to change capital. And from where the government will arrange the money for the new capital. Anybody Knows how much will be the expense for developing a new capital.
 
I request all please think about development of Uttarakhand and uttarakhandis. Capital can be shifted but not right now. "Ghar mai khane ko kuch hai nahi aur naya ghar banane ka sapna dekh rahe hain."
Politicians needs issues and we people provide them silly issues.
If capital change is so important then atleast we should check our pocket that are we in a position to change capital? are we in a position to afford this financial burden?
 
I think uttarakhand is not in a position of this big change.

All of us know that Dehradun was selected to be the capital of Uttarakhand on temporary basis.  The search for creation and development of a suitable place has been on eversince.  All of us also know that the infrastructure of Dehradun is not suitable for a newly created state.  Dehradun has already become over-crowded and polluted.  Talking about money required for bringing up a new capital is not a valid arguement.  The State with the Central help would be able to settle this issue.  Just imagine a new capital with a completely new and well thought of infrastructure would surely made all of us proud of.  We are lucky to be in the lap of natural beauty.  Besides having a huge secretarial complex, the new capital would also be developed for tourism on international standards. Special care needs be taken to avoid dirtying the new capital by illegal encroachment.  The municipality alone will decide about the architecture of private houses.  Fifty years from now and the cost of developing new capital would be recovered.  I have personally not seen much of Garhwal and, therefore, am not aware if Gairisain would be the right choice.  Therefore no comments on this.  But so many learned people have thought on this issue and the their considered choice, void with vested interests, should be superb. Government of India have sufficient funds to give us a new capital.  As a matter of fact after 50 years or so another location should be found out so that the development reaches every part of the Uttarakhand.

I already tried to give the answer of all questions raised by various members but unfortunately few of my mails are not approved by the group moderators. Now it seems that group moderators are approving only those mails who are in against of shifting Capital.  Anyway leave this point and coming to main issue. I don’t still understand that you all people are talking about wastage of money. What kinds of money will be wasted? The Indian Government has signed the Nuclear Deal, lots of people were in the support and lots of were against the deal but the Government had signed the deal. Why? Was it needed today? No it is need for future. Along with present we should also think about future. This is true that we will have to bear lots of expenses to shifting the capital from Dehradoon to Gairsain but it will give a fruitful result in coming years. You all people are ignoring this point.
 
If our demand for the State of Uttarakhand Movement Andolnkari What we do not receive state. If our people do not fight for freedom struggle, do we get freedom?
 
If our people dont fight against the cruel British rule, do we receive the Freedom?
 
If our people don't demand for Uttarakhand Rajya, if our people don't march for Uttarakhand Rajya, if our people don't sacrifice their life, do we get the New Uttarakhand State?
 
In the time of freedom struggle if we (our people/freedom fighter) do think that after getting freedom we will have to do lots of thing. We will have to invest lots of money in developing infrastructure, industry, colleges, hospitals, roads..etc then it is better would be better to not receive the freedom.
Do you agree with this kind of thinking?
 
You are saying that Dehradoon is ok for Capital but still Dehradoon is a temporary Capital not permanent and why Dehradoon is still a temporary capital, why it couldn't be permanent after the 10 years of Uttarakhand state formation?
 
My dear friends a tremendous buildling doesn't complete in single day and also without investing money it is not possible to make.
 
We all people take lots of Insurance policy, save their earning in the banks, buy property in decent areas why?, just for secure their future. Along with past we think for our future, we think about our future, so why we don’t think about our villagers?
 
It was not happened that when Dehradoon became a Capital of Uttarakhand and all the things developed there at once or a single day, no, everything has been developed slowly. Development needs time, patience and a proper strategy. So what I am saying that it is totally wrong to think that shifting Capital from Dehradoon to Gairsain is only wasting time & money.
 
But for me the most important thing is that how we easily forget the sacrifice of our Uttarakhand moments freedom fighter. We are denying their ideology, we are questioning about their wisdoms thinking, about their vision.
 
Why I am supporting Gairsain, already put my views in my previous mail and don’t have enough time repeating those things once again.
 
This is my personal thinking.

The question that shifting capital from DDN to Gairsain will only result in wastage of money which, as they say, can be used for the development of Uttarakhand, is ridiculous.  After all what kind of development we are talking about?  Creating  new infrastructure in and around Gairsain will not be called development? 
One of my friends says "ghar mein khane ko kuch nahee aur naya ghar banane ko soch rahe hain"..  My dear friend, whenever a new State is created, the Central Government makes provision of substantial funds for creating necessary infrastructure including developing the State Capital.  The public has not to pay from their pocket for that.  Now it is the responsibility of the State Government to see that how much funds they can obtain from the Central Government.   

Gairsain was already proposed as the capital of Uttrakhand during Uttrakhand movement.nobody was aginst it.

we all want the development of hilly areas of uttrakhand.Plains areas of Utranchal are much developed and

 hills areas are not developing at that Speed.I will not say that development is not being done but still hills areas are developing at

tortoise speed .On the other hand we are investing most of the money on developing plains like Dehradoon.

You will not find all the facilities in any other hills area like dehradoon ,haridwar,UdhamSing hNagar.That is why people are still leaving their natives

even after formation of uttrakhand.Number of people have purchased lands nearby plains.which is obvious becoz they are getting good facilities of transportaion, hospitals, educations etc.But But But  I want all this kind of facilities in Hills. many of you are saying that

Dehradoon should remain the capital becoz it is having all those kind of faclities which Gairsain or any other Hills area doesnt have.

Which is more painful becoz you want to see that place developing which is having some good facilities

and you think it is wastage of money on deveoping Gersain as a new Capital.We want to See most of the areas equally developed as dehradoon.

so why not we should start it from Gairsain.make Make a new beautiful capital.we all will also feel happy if we will see some PAHADI area deveoped and feel proud.

 

I dont feel proud dehradoon as the capital becoz it was already famous and developed much before formation of uttrakhand.

koi apna pahad ka area apni Rajdhani ho.jaha keval apne hi log mile, apni yaha ki  bhasha,boliyo mai baat kare toh koi baat hai na.

Koi aam Goan ka aadmi jaye toh use ye na lage ki vo dusre state mai aa gya hai..anyways ye toh abhi bahut door ki baat hai..pahle aap ek toh ho..

 

aur jab tak koi pahad ka area developed nahi hoga tab tak vaha koi industrialization nahi hoga.jitna jyada koi hills area developed hoga utna hi vaha ke log ke Rozgar ke source increase honge..

 

Just Close your eyes and Imagine your local pahad Areas developed,enough number of transportion, education, hospitals and sorce of employmnt facilities present.good low and order conditions all over there.Number of tourists have come to visit over there.everywhere you see your uttranchali peoples are employed...Feel Good??..I am sure you will feel good..how beautiful dream is it???
but again next moment you will start laughing becoz you think it is impossible.becoz like me you all are well aware about the curruption,politics going on in our beautiful state.But at least we should take one step forward.

ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY.we just need to start a journey,take some intiative and who knows..may be within next 15 or 20 years from today we feel proud on development of our state instead of feeling shame on being a currupt number 1.I am sure if our people want they can make uttrakhand just like switzerland one day and can set an examples for Other states.for that we need dedicated Poltecians and public.

 

So I think we should start it from making a beautiful capital and by this we can pay our tribute to our uttranchali martyrs.And please you people dont associate it with self motive of those who are in favour of Gairsain as capital.I am also from pauri garhwal.
we are not locals of Gairsain but becoz it is a pahadi area and it was already proposed at the time of Uttranchal Andolan.I also have taken part in one or two rallies of UKD andolans when I was only 9 10 years old.so I have some emotional feeling assocated with it.Come what may come ,Money should not come in between in developing any hills area.Money increases with investment..


Be not only logical but Dil logical..
