Translation –
 When the King offers low salary /wages to the royal staff, the king makes the staff his enemy. Because of low income, the staff cannot raise his family well or cannot meet his needs and  starts finding faults in the King  and he makes losses for Kingdom and creates hurdles for the citizens.

Translation-
There are three types of salaried employees. – Those are very slow in performances/ work (Slow) , finish the  work with medium speed and finish (average)  the work very fast ( faster ). Therefore, the salaried should be paid according to the speed of wok by the employees.

  Three types of Employees as per Performances –
  As per performance management consultant Thomas Wilk too, the employees are of three types - Strugglers, the average and the Rock Star. (2) .
Thomas Wilk states that the strugglers are the difficult most employees and they pull down over all team performances. Second types of Employees are average (as mentioned Madhyam by 4th Century Scholar Shukracharya) and the third type of performers are rock Star (Shukracharya called them Shreshtha Bhrit)

Translation-
The three hours (ek prahar) leave for day time and nine hours leave for the night  must be provided  for the permanent staff. Apart from the above, there must be provision for half an hour in a day as intermission leave for them. The king has the  right to take work from them on  Shradha  day or other auspicious day.

Translation-
The king must pay a quarter less than the usual payment to the servant, must pay three months’ three   months wages to the servant that served the court for five years; six months’ salary  to the servant that has been long ill; but not more to anybody. Even a slight portion should not be deducted from the full remuneration of the servant that has been ill for half of the fortnight.

Translation-
The king should offer half salary as pension (retirement wages )  till the death to those served the court for 40 years. The king should offer half salary to the family of retired servant tll they become capable for earning. Same way, the king must offer retirement allowances to the women workers and unmarried girl , the king must offer half salary as retirement allowances. Apart from the above, the king must offer one eighth of salary annually to the regular servant.
