                             Bhishma Kukreti

Garhwali literature will always remember the service by Parashar Gaur for popularizing Garhwali literature on internet medium.
Parashar gaur and Jagmoha Jayara initiated Garhwali literature on Internet medium.
Gaur is more famous for his Satire prose.
Chakhnyau: Is about illicit relationship and the write up or story type satire is as if said joke. The words are played to create suspense.
Janvarun kachhedi: Janvarun kachhedi is about human calling human as animal but those human beings are worse than the real animals. For example human beings call the unpatriotic person as dog. However, the dog is always faithful to his master.

Review of Garhwali Satirical Prose – 8
Dyaradoon Puran: Satire on Dehradun as city
(Review of Satire by Bhishma Kukreti)

                           Bhishma Kukreti

[Notes on satire on cities; Garhwali satire on cities; Uttarakhandi regional language satire on cities; mid Himalayan regional language satire on cities; Himalayan regional language satire on cities; North Indian regional language satire on cities; Indian regional language satire on cities; south Asian regional language satire on cities; Asian regional language satire on cities]
Kukreti published a satirical series on Dehradun city in Garh Aina (27th April 1st May 1989). This author as student of ninth standard comes to Dehradun from a remote village of Garhwal. He finds human litter on the road and cries,” Kwi gan ai ge” (It seems a village started). The author compares the village where there is human litter at the entry of a village. His senior tells that it is not a village but a Muhalla of Dehradun city. By logic, finding human litter here and there, the author thinks that Dehradun is bunches of villages.
The writer is not surprised for finding the class difference in Dehradun as he describes
As in village people throw dust on the common place, people throw dust on the road or public places as
About transferring a strict district magistrate as if he has done a crime, Kukreti explains that it is the democracy which is more important than health of the people. The satirist compares Parushram and Lakshman of Ramayan era as the municipal corporate of opposite parties
This way, Kukreti attacks humorously on the culture of Dehradun and ridicules those minus points .
