Dear Folk

As a pahadi  I feel proud my self be a member of this website. In this site we will try to mentioned or put a tepical words from our BOLI/Vasha with their meanings so that other people can learn and understand. them.  Hopefully other folk will join with me to permote our boli/vasha.

in gadwali

Baduli/Bhaduli = Hichkee  ( Jab koyee kise ko yaad kerta hai )

Kutriyan = kapdo ki jalni ki Gandh

Kumriyan = Garma kapdo ki jalani ki Gandh

Paraaz  =  Paun ke neche ek perkar se Gudh gudhe lagna

Tak =  bikul seedh  dekhna  bena Palak jhapkaye
         . Nirantar ek chaa bani rahani

    Rumuk (Garwali) -  Mean Sandhya Ka Samay
    Bhiyao or Shas -   Same in KUmoani

गढ़वाली में- लड़की/बच्ची eg. कैकी नौनी चे तू?
कुमाऊंनी में- मक्खन

एक विशुद्ध पहाङी शब्द है... चोप, उच्चारण- कोप(गुस्सा) की तरह

"चोप" - पौधों से निकलने वाला एक चिपचिपा पदार्थ.

पाई -  यह एक प्रकार का काठ का वर्तन होता है जिसमे लोग पहले मक्खन रखते थे !
