The existence of Uttarakhandi regional language (Kumaoni-Garwali-Jaunsari etc) is at stake, especially in Metro Cities. The apparent reason for this is that we people do not teach our children the respective regional languages. Whenever meet people through this portal or in other forums and during function, they all have a common answer that “they can little a bit understand the language but can not speak”. However, it has been observed that most of the children do not know the common words about our regional language. This is one of the areas where we need to focus.
Under this thread, we would try to write words of our regional languages with meaning. We are sure this efforts ours would prove an instrumental who wish to learn kumoani-garwali-jaunsari language.
