Dear Mehta Ji and Hem Ji,


It's unfortunate that we lost many lives in recent calamity.....no one ever had control on such natural disasters however, what we all can do is "unite together" and contribute in all possible ways to help our brothers out there.....i feel very sad that I would not be able to join you guys,,,,however our best wishes and tele-support would always accompany you...i would like to be with you over the phone and would like to contribute a little bit financially as well.....our Brothers/Sisters  seek help from us and its high time that we all unite together in order to take them out from this sudden grief and pain....I totally understand that monetary contributions can never fulfill the loss and pain our people have had recently, nonetheless we got to help our PAHAR FAMILY, specially who lost their homes and loved ones and are in deep need of positive energy to move their lives forward.....we (my wife and I) would have loved to donate more than this...however at this moment we would like to deposit Rs10,000.00 in Myor Pahar account or Donate 100 sweaters (it's beginning of winters i hope and we would try our best to have this work done by today itself),,,,please advice, what is the best thing to go ahead with.

सभी उत्तराखंडी बुजुर्गों और प्यारे भाई-बहिनों को सत-सत प्रणाम,दोस्तों जैसा कि हम सब जानते हैं कि उत्तराखंड में  इस साल कई दैवीय आपदाएं हुई हैं और अभी भी उत्तराखंड कई दैवीय आपदाओं से उभरा नहीं,कई जाने चली गयीं हैं कई घर उजड़ गए हैं और यहाँ तक कि कई गाँव कि तबाई हुई है !

दोस्तों इस मुश्किल कि घडी में हम सबको एक साथ एक जुट होकर इन समस्याओं से निपटना है ! इतने सालों के बाद भी कुछ विकास नहीं हो पाया था लेकिन जो कुछ बचा-कुचा था उसको भी कुदरत ने छीन लिया है !
सभी लोगो से निवेदन हैं कि-दुख कि इस घडी हम सब उन लोगों कि मदद के आगे आना चाहिए जिनका कि सब कुछ छीन गया है चाये आप लोग कुध जाकर मदद करें ये किसी ग्रुप के द्वारा मदद करें,आपकी मदद से आया हुवा एक रुपया लाखों लोगो को  एक वक्त कि रोटी खिला सकता है !हमको इस समय कि मिली दुवा जरूर काम आएगी !

मेरा पहाड़ के कुछ बरिष्ठ सदस्यों ने एक मुहीम निकाली है २ या ३ को उन आपदा ग्रस्त इलाकों का दौंरा करने कि और हम सब आप लोगों कि के सात है मेहता जी हेम जी और पंकज जी,मुझे उम्मीद आप सभी लोग,मेरा पहाड़ के इन सदस्यों को अपना सहयोग देंगें जय देवभूमि उत्तराखंड !

बाढ़ आई - बाढ़ आई , चारों तरफ तौबाही मचाई,
घर टूटे, बच्चे छूटे , पानी ने तो किसी पर दया न दिखाई,
सड़के टूटी किस्मतें फूटी, जाने किसकी माँ बही और किसने खोये बहन भाई,
कल तक गूंजती थी जहां बच्चों की किलकारियां, आज वहां खौफनाक वीरानी है छाई,
खबरे छपी खबरे बटी, कुछ तो पढकर भूल गए पर शायद कुछ की आँखें भर आई,
सत्ता में बैठे लोगों को इसमें भी राजनीति ही दी दिखलाई,
तुम भी खुश हो, मैं भी खुश हूँ, क्यूंकि जिनपर बीती उनमें हमारे अपने न थे,
पल भर में जो चूर हो गए उनमें हमारे सपने न थे, धन्यवाद प्रभु तुम्हारा तुमने हमपर बड़ी दया दिखलाई,
पर काश केवल आँख मूँद लेने भर से बदल जाती सच्चाई
मेरी न हो किसी की तो होगी वो बहन वो बीवी जिसने अपने भाई, अपने पति की जान गवाई
मेरे न हो किसी के तो होंगे वो दूधमुहे बच्चे जिनकी माँ उन्हें भूखा पेट छोड़ प्रभु के पास चली आई   
मेरे न हो किसी के तो होंगे वो बूड़े माँ बाप जिन्होंने नम आँखों से दी अपने बेटे बहु को अंतिम विदाई
 
Dear All,


I am sure all of you all are just as much thankful to god as I am today that all my loved ones back home are hale and hearty.  However, apart from thanking god I strongly feel it’s our responsibility as natives of Uttarakhand to do something together for our people who need us right now.


Creative Uttarakhand Myor Pahad Team will be visiting rain & flood affected areas in Uttarakhand on 2nd & 3rd Oct 2010. Some doctors and medical representatives will also be accompanying the team. Anyone willing to contribute/donate food/clothes/medicine/tents/solar lamps for people back home in DEVBHUMI or monetarily for any of these necessities is requested to take an early action and get in touch with any of us members:

Our Uttarakhandi Friends in the US have started donating for upcoming pahar visit by Myor Pahar team.....we plan to donate Cloths, specially woolens, Comforters, Tents, Solar Lamps etc.


So far we have collected around Rs35000.00 (INR Thirty Five thousand Only) from US based Uttarakhandis within an hour of sending the request for donations.
