NANDA DEVI NEPHEW 1008 MOOL NARAYAN JI STORY
Dosto,
Shree 1008 Mool Narayan Ji is the nephew of Nanda Devi. As per the mythology, Madani Rishi alongwith Mainwati lived in scared placed called Rikeshwar in Garwal Region of Uttarakhand and the couple was childless. After a lot of penance, the couple blessed with child but his birth was in “Mool Nakshtra” period. As per Hindu belief, any child who takes birth in Mool Nakshtra is considered inauspicious for this parent (it means his parent will die before their death). So Shree Mool Narayan Ji was thrown in a flowing river by his parent. When Nanda Devi came to know about this incident, she immediately reached a bank of river where Mool Narayan ji had stuck.
Nanda Devi then takes child alogwith her. The child who was himself an incarnation of God. In below thread you will find detailed story of Shree 1008 Mool Narayan Bhagwan and his temple situated and the place where Nanda Devi took her. Mainly, Mool Narayan Ji has temples at following places in Bagehswar District :-
- 1st Temple in a place called Banlekh
- 2nd Temple in village Jarti of Bageshwar Distct
- The last temple of Mool Narayan Ji is in Shikhar which is about 8000 ft height.
