नोट गिनता है पर लाशें गिनता नहीं, पूछते हैं सरफिरा कौन है"
ये बल्ली जी वो पंक्तियाँ हैं जो सबकुछ बयां कर रही हैं, देवेंदर जी जैसे अनगिनत आन्दोलन कारी हैं जिनको कुछ नहीं मिलन वाला सरकार का जो पैरामीटर है वो उसके अपने लोगों के हित को ध्यान मैं रख कर बनाया है माफिया और चोरे आन्दोलन कारी हो गए उन्हें इसका फायदा हो गया है जबकि ये सब जानते हैं की राज्य आन्दोलन एक अहिंसात्मक आन्दोलन था जिसमें लोगों से आपने करियर यां तक की पुरे ३ पुश्तों का करियर ख़राब कर लिया है इस पहल पर अगर हम किसी नतीजे तक पहुच सकें तो बहुत ख़ुशी होगी,

उत्तराखण्ड राज्य के लिये संघर्ष करने वाले असली आन्दोलनकारी आज भी दर-दर की ठोकरे खा रहे हैं यह पढकर/जानकर बहुत दुख होता है. देवेन्द्र जी का उदाहरण सामने रखकर शायद हम अन्य लोगों के हकों को भी एक बुलन्द आवाज दे पायेंगे.

यह बहुत शर्मनाक बात है कि देवेन्द्र जी जैसे सैकड़ों सच्चे आन्दोलनकारी अपने हक के लिये पुन: संघर्ष करने को विवश हो रहे हैं और भाजपा और कांग्रेस के पिछलग्गू कुछ लोग फर्जी आन्दोलनकारी घोषित होकर सरकारी नौकरी करने लगे हैं या अन्य सुविधाएं भोग रहे हैं. देवेन्द्र जी के इस संघर्ष में हम उनके साथ हैं.....

This is totally an injustice Govt must give equal facilities to all state struggle activists. No matter if person had spent one day in jail or one month. Apart from going to jail, people had fought fight for a separate on road and from Uttarakhand to Lal Kila.

We will be providing the details of many more such people here and there are many members of merapahad community who have been “Aandolankari” (Uttarakhand State Struggle Activists).

There are thousands of people like Devendra had been very active during the state struggle but have not yet anything after formation of state.

Time to time, there has also been reporting coming that many people who were never been in Uttarakhand Struggle are in the list of Activist whereas actual people are running pillar to post for claiming as a State Struggle Activist.
