      हिन्दू नव-वर्ष को उत्तराखण्ड में फूल देई के नाम से मनाया जाता है, इस दिन छोटे बच्चे, विशेषकर कन्यायें जंगल से चैत्र माह में खिलने वाले फूल लेकर घरों की देहरियों में डालती हैं। आइये जानते हैं कुछ इस त्यौहार के बारे में,

M Unlucky that i havent celebrated this festival in Village. Stil i know a lil bout it.

Its generally a children's Festival. Children pluck different type of flowers on this day and roam around whole village and put those flowers on "Deyii"(Entrance) of Village houses.

In return People of that house give them Gud, Chawal, Misri, Toffee, Biscuits etc..

Shaam ko waapas aakar jo  chawal and gud milte hai. Unse Saee Bnaate hai.

Saee is a cuisine.
Preparation Method:
Firstly Put Rice in a vessel of water for 2-3 hrs.
Then rice is crushed on Sil-Batta.
Boil Oil in a pan(Kadahii). Put crushed rice in that pan. Mix the mixture with Gud, sugar etc until a brownish colour appears.

Fir Khaake enjoy karo....
