Today is the 14th anniversary of Uttarakhand State. Let's have a retrospection, KYA PAYA, KYA KHOYA AUR KYA KIYA JA SAKTA HAI WITH PPP (Public, Private Participation).
KYA PAYA: - Roads Networks, Electricity and Water Connections, LPG distributions, Public Toilets in most of the Market Places, Banks and ATM facilities, Limited State Transports ( Uttarakhand Parivahan), Beautification of Temples, Pedestrian Roads to Villages, STD/PCO, Cable Networks, Mobile Towers, Degree Colleges, Charitable Dispensaries, Cow Sheds, Crematorium Sheds at some places, Bridges, Water Pumping Stations, Hands Pumps, 108 Ambulance Service in remote areas.
KYA KHOYA. People of all age groups missing due their massive migration to cities for obvious reasons, Populated Villages now give a deserted look with collapsed and abandoned houses, Youths migrated mainly due Unemployment, Cows vanished and no milk available, Agriculture extincted due scarcity of water for irrigation, Good Healthcare, Good Educationnot available, Enough State Transports not available, Almost all of Garhwal regions devasted due natural calamity of 2013, Political Leadership outlook not village centric for their developments but limited to whatever developments can be seen is in towns and district headquarters only.
KYA KIYA JA SAKTA HAI : Encourage and develop Agriculture and its protection from wild pigs and monkeys ( now-a-days damaging the crops the most), Provision of sufficient water for irrigation of fields in villages, Good Healthcare and availability of enough medicines in Govt dispensaries, Quality Education in Schools and Colleges for all. Pacca pedestrian roads to connect villages, increase the frequency of state transports in hills, Equip the Govt Hospitals well with modern medical equipments like X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, Dental, Orthopaedic, Gaene etc and post qualified Doctors in full strength, Fix targets and accountability for Block Development Officers and Block Pramukhs and allot sufficient Funds to them and also the local MLA and the MP. These are few basic steps to start with so that the further migration trends of youths in particular can be checked to some extent.....otherwise the developmental report of the State Govt's achievements will be considered halfway only and promulgated to impress to people not living there.

Even after 14 years of it's setting up, Uttarakhand state has only a temporary capital in Dun; vested interests have successfully avoided the shifting to the declared capital Gairsain in the middle of the state. Hope 15th year will make it happen...inshah Allah!

Devendra Nainwal प्रशासनिक इकाई के तौर पर हमने अपना अलग राज्य तो ज़रूर पा लिया है, पर मुझे लगता है कि जिस राज्य के लिए हमने कामना की थी वह हमें नहीं मिला ! अब अगली कोशिस हमारी अपने इस सपने को साकार करने के लिए होनी चाहिए. इसे हमने ही मुमकिन करना है किसी और से प्राप्त करना नहीं है
