As you aware, since Mahendra Singh Dhoni was included in Indian Cricket Team and people of Uttarakhand came to know that his paretns are from Uttarakhand, after that there has been a demand that the he should be awarded by UK Govt due to paternal connection with Uttarakhand and his brillant game.


What is your views on the subject.

This is one of the fact that Dhoni never openly said that his parents are from UK and thus has has paternal relation with UK. This is reason of resentment of people of Uttarakhand. Secondly, Jharkhand Govt got this opportunity and they have favoured on him a lot that he has to keep his mouth closed to speak about his originity.

However, there is no harm if he is awarded. I am sure he must have a place for Uttarakhand in his heart. Once i watched a interview of his father's brother on ETV Uttar Pradesh that he used to regulary visit UK before coming to the limelight. Even his Janeo Sanskar was done in UK itself.

Award dena chahiye lekin sabse aakhir me jab koi aur uttarakhandi na mile, reason is simple. Woh hamesha apne ko uttarakhandi maanne se bachta rehta hai.

Doosra, Use to saar India award se nawaj dega, lekin aur bhi bahut Uttarakhandi hain jo Uttarakhand ke liye kaam karte hain pehle unhe nawaja jaana chahiye. Kya bolte hain aap log.

During the one of the Interview with NDTV, Dhoni had said that his jeens are from Himalay Almora and this the screct of his fitness and mussles.

However, after that he never openly said that he is from UK. Secondly, when Dhoni came in limelight, Jharkhand Govt immedialy presented him as Brand Ambassdor of the State and gave lot of awards to him whereas he even not got a appreciation from Uttarakhand Govt. May be this thing pinching in his mind.

If after awarding Dhoni would not say that he has no connection with Uk, then it is fair.

 मेरे मत में यदि एक बार भी धौनी कह दे कि "उत्तराखण्ड मेरी मात्रभूमि है और झारखंड मेरी कर्मभूमि"   तो हमें सर के बल जाकर उसे सम्मानित करना चाहिये. लेकिन जब वह अपने को कहीं पर भी उत्तराखण्डी स्वीकार करता ही नही है तो हमें भी उसकी परवाह क्यों होनी चाहिए?
