भालू के हमले में महिला गंभीर घायल

चिन्यालीसौड़। जंगल में घास काटने गई एक महिला पर भालू ने हमला कर दिया। जिससे वह गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई। उसे तत्काल जिला अस्पताल रैफर किया गया। शुक्रवार को बड़ेथी धरासू निवासी विमला देवी(55 ) पत्नी स्व.विजेंद्र सिंह धरासू थाने के निकटवर्ती जंगल में घास काट रही थी। पूर्वाह्न करीब 11.30 बजे अचानक भालू ने हमला कर महिला को गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया। आसपास मौजूद लोगों के हल्ला करने पर भालू भाग निकला। महिला के हाथ, पैर, चेहरे और सिर पर गंभीर चोटें आई हैं। मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने तत्काल 108 आपात चिकित्सा वाहन की मदद से घायल महिला को जिला अस्पताल पहुंचाया। यहां उपचार के बाद चिकित्सक महिला की हालत खतरे से बाहर बता रहे हैं।

Leopard kills minor girl in Uttarakhand, hunt on

DEHRADUN: A team of forest guards In Uttarakhand on Monday launched a hunt for a man-eating leopard that killed a 14-year-old-girl in Tehri district on Sunday.

Uttarakhand principal chief conservator (forests) R B S Rawat said the incident occurred at 5.45 PM when the victim who was studying at class 8 in an Intermediate college near Kirod village was returning home.

Rawat said as she was about to enter the village, a full grown leopard suddenly emerged out of a nearby bush and pounced on her.

Her half-eaten body was recovered on Monday after a night long search by residents of the village and forest officials.

"We have put up cages at different points to capture the leopard but have not succeeded in tranquilizing the animal so far," said a senior forest officer in Tehri.

Rawat said as the leopard has been declared a man-eater after this killing, the animal will be shot dead if not captured.
