अर सुमिरों गुरु अविनाशी को , सुमिरों कृष्न कनाई।

सदा अमर नि रैंदी धरती माता , बजर पड़े टूट जाई।
अमर नि रैंदा चंद , सुरजि छुचा , मेघ घिरे छिप जाई।।१।।
माता रोये जनम कूं , बहिन रोये, बहिन रोये छै मासा।
तिरिया रोये डेढ़ घड़ी कूँ , आन करे घर बासा।।२।।
कागज़ पतरी सब कुई बांचे करम नि बांचे कुई।
राज घरों को राजकुंवर , बुबा करणी जोग लिखाई।। ३ ।।
सुन रै बेटा गोपीचंद जी बात सुनो चित लाई।
कंचन कया , कंचन कामिनी मति कैसे भरमाई।। ४।।
डळयों के गीत खड़ी बोली अथवा ब्रज भाषा में होते हैं। डळया गुरु एकतारा के साथ बजाते हुए गीत गातें हैं।

Naming Ceremony is important aspects of Hindu child.
There were two rituals in naming ceremony run simultaneously in past. The Pundit used chant Sholkas in Sanskrit inside the room with mother, child and relatives.
While the Pundit is busy in Chanting Sholka and performing Karmkand of Namkaran or Dashptan or Naming Ceremony in the room, a Harijan Mangler (Woman singer of Auspicious Song) used to sing auspicious songs outside the room (courtyard). Many times the village women also sing with Mangler. The following Garhwali folk Song is taken from Rawain Jaunpur sung at the time of Naming Ceremony (Namkaran or Dashotan)-

सुधि -बुधि देवी का आनंद छाये ,सुधि -बुधि देवी का आनंद छाये
विष्णु जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे ,विष्णु जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे
लक्ष्मी जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे ,लक्ष्मी जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे
ब्रह्मा जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे, ब्रह्मा जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे
ब्रह्माणी जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे, ब्रह्मणी जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे
नारैण जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे, नारैण जी का आंगुणी बढ़ई बाजे

First Hair Cut ceremony or Chudakarm Sanskar or Mundan Sanskar plays a important role in life cycle of Hindu. Pundit performs the Karmkand ritual of Chudakarm and the barber cuts the hair of a boy.
The Mangler (Auspicious folk woman song singer) sings the following song while barber cuts the hair of boy.
चूड़ाकर्म अथवा मुंडन संस्कार का एक गढ़वाली लोकगीत

Upnayana Sanskar /Yagyopavit Sanskar/Janeu Pahnne ka Sanskar is n event of life cycle of Hindus. It is hanging threads on upper body part of a boy that symbolizes transference of spiritual knowledge.
The Pundit performs the religious rituals in Sanskrit (Karmkand) and Mangler (Auspicious Song Woman singer) sings the folk song at the ceremony.
There are three parts of Yagyopavit Sanskar Folk Song-
1-Farming of Cotton and making threads by Pundit
2-Search of Guru by father of the son
3-Threading ceremony by capable Guru
यज्ञोपवीत /उपनयन /जनेऊ संस्कार का गढ़वाली लोकगीत
भली -भली पुंगड्यूं मा बोइ च कबास
भाई बैण्यूं न मिलीकी गोडी च कबास
उनिया -धुनियान मिलिकी काती च कबास
माँ जी भौजीन मिलिकी काती च कबास
ब्रह्मा का बेटान बटी च कबास
बणावा ब्रह्मा जी नौलड्या जनेऊ
सुण ल्यावो ब्रह्मा जी , कायरों नि होयां , कायरों नि होयां ,
हमारो कारिज वित्त समाना ,वित्त समाना
सात स्वागिण्योन खैंडु च खीलो
सात स्वागिण्योन ग्वाडो च खीलो
सात स्वागिण्योन काती च कबास
काती कूति द्याई उन विशेश्वर का पास
विशेश्वरना तब यो सूत ब्रह्मा जी तैं द्याया
ब्रह्मा जीन चेला तैं गुरुमंत्र जनेऊ द्याया
ब्रह्मा जी को चेला आज गुरुमुखो ह्वै ग्याया
बघमरी आसण द्याया टिमरू को सोटा
काँध मा धैर्याला वैना खैरुवा की झोली
एक हाथ ल्याई वैना सूनो कमंडल
---------पुत्र द्वारा पिताजी से गुरु की खोज का आग्रह ----------
लावा मेरा बुबाजी ब्रह्मा खोजी लावा
आज चैंदो पिताजी वेदमुखी ब्रह्मा
य तो कारिज सुफल फलीन , य तो कारिज सुफल फलीन
आज च बेटा कु जनेऊ ,आज च बेटा कु जनेऊ
न्यूति आले वेद मुखी ब्रह्मा
गया पुरी मा होलो गौतिम को बेटा
गौतिम को बेटा होलो उत्तिम बरमा
जै जस दियां भूमि का भूम्याळ
जै जस दियां पितर दिबता
