Uttarakhndi girl wins the femina miss India world title.Congratulations.This is what she has to say on her achievement.
“I'm losing my appetite, I'm yet to digest the fact that I have won, says an elated Manaswi Mamgai after winning the coveted crown of Pantaloon's Femina Miss India World 2010, on Friday here in Mumbai.

We caught up with Manasvi immediately after the pageant to get a peep into the ramblings of her mind and here’s what we got to know ...

So, what's on your mind right now, in this winning moment?
I just want to sit back and cherish the moment. I have created history. Now I want to enjoy just that. And of course I want to hug my mom. She’s super happy and proud. I have only her and God to thank today.

From top 18 to 10 to 5 and finally to winning... how were the thoughts moving?
Don't know if anyone noticed, but every time they were announcing the winners, my name was the last to be announced. So it used to be a complete roller coaster ride for me. Every time I thot ab gai ab gai.. but God saved me!

When did you weave the dream to stand where you are today?
It all began the day I saw the blue crown on intact on Aishwarya Rai's head. So, you can say when other girls were dreaming to become Miss India, my eyes were still set on that blue crown of Miss World. And this victory is a part of the other big journey.

So is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan your inspiration?
Well, to be honest, I don't find inspiration in a single person. I seek for things to learn from anybody and everybody I see around me in my everyday life. I keep embracing good things from wherever I can.

What will be your message to all those girls who want to be where you are today?
Believe in yourself and go ahead!

Manasvi, who was born in Delhi has made Mumbai as her current home. She was often spotted walking the ramp for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion week in Delhi. Apart from standing tall as the Pantaloon’s Femin Miss India World 2010, Manasvi has also won sub-contests including WGC Femina Miss Golden Heart, Femina Miss Catwalk, Gorgeous Femina Miss Beautiful Skin and Himalyan Femina Miss Natural Beauty.

मनस्वी को फेमिना मिस इंडिया का खिताब मिला            गरुड़, । गरुड़ के गढ़सेर निवासी मनस्वी ममगाई ने मुम्बई में चल रही पेंटालून-फेमिना मिस इंडिया 2010 सौंदर्य प्रतियोगिता का फाइनल जीत लिया है। उनके यह खिताब जीतने पर क्षेत्र में खुशी की लहर फैल गई व गांव में मिष्ठान वितरित किया गया। मनस्वी को राज्य की पहली फेमिना मिस इंडिया बनने का भी गौरव प्राप्त हुआ है। मनस्वी अविवाहित है।
राज्य की उभरती माडल मनस्वी ने 30 अप्रैल को मुम्बई में आयोजित पेंटालून फेमिना मिस इंडिया 2010 का खिताब जीता। गढ़सेर में पैतृक संपत्ति का रख रखाव करने वाले मनस्वी के चाचा गोविंद ममगाई व रिश्ते के चाचा व्यापार संघ जिलाध्यक्ष नवीन ममगाई ने बताया कि मनस्वी ने वर्ष 2006 में पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद इस क्षेत्र में कदम बढ़ाया तथा इलीट माडल लुक इंडिया का खिताब जीता। मनस्वी देश विदेश के नामी फैशन डिजायनरों के साथ काम कर चुकी है साथ ही उसने फेयर एंड लवली के लिए भी माडलिंग की है। बागेश्वर जिले के गरुड़ तहसील के गढ़सेर निवासी मनस्वी ने दिसम्बर 2008 में मलेशिया में आयोजित मिस टूरिज्म इंटरनेशनल पीजेंट प्रतिस्पर्धा में प्रतिभाग किया था। शुक्रवार को मुम्बई में आयोजित पेंटालून फेमिना मिस इंडिया का खिताब जीतकर उसने देवभूमि उत्तराखंड को गौरवान्वित किया है। मनस्वी की इस सफलता की जानकारी मिलते ही क्षेत्र में खुशी की लहर फैल गई व गढ़सेर वासियों ने बाजार में मिष्ठान वितरित किया। मनस्वी के दादा जयबल्लभ ममगाई स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी थे जिनका कुछ वर्ष ही अपने पैतृक आवास गढ़सेर में निधन हुआ था। मनस्वी के पिता जन्मेजय ममगाई चंडीगढ़ में इंजीनियर है जबकि सगे चाचा गोविंद ममगाई गांव में खेती बाड़ी का काम करते है जबकि दूसरे चाचा जवाहर ममगाई मुरादाबाद में चिकित्सक है जबकि ताऊ रामपुर में उपजिलाधिकारी है।       http://in.jagran.yahoo.com/news/local/uttranchal/4_5_6380236.html

हमें मनस्वी ममगाई  पर गर्व है बडो मनस्वी और आगे बडो सारी दुनिया में उत्तराखंड  के परचम को लहराओ दुनिया का ताज पाओ भगवान बद्रीविशाल व्  सम्पूर्ण   देव भूमि उत्तराखंड के देवी देवताओं तथा जनमानुस का आशीष तुम्हारे  शीश है, बढो और आगे बढो इतना ऊँचा उड़ो कि आसमान भी नीचे होजाय, पर इस उड़ान में अपनी देवभूमि अपनी पित्रों कि भूमि उत्तराखंड को याद जरुर रखना

This is great news.. and a matter of pride. pahadi talent is now emerging. Be it a field of sports, science, technology or now beauty contest.

Uttarakhandi are now shining everwhere.
