As you are aware, Gairsain was the proposed capital of Uttarakhand apart from Struggle days. Soon after formation of the State it was told that within 6 months capital will be moved to Gairsain from Dehradoon but unfortunately the issue has politicized by forming Commission for the permanent Capital. It has been more than one decade now people still struggling for Capital.

We are giving here some photos of Gairsain which is a ideal place for permanent Capital of Uttarakhand.
