यह क्षेत्र उत्तराखंड के बागेश्वर जिले के रीमा क्षेत्र में आता है! नाकुरी क्षेत्र में प्रमुख रूप से दयाली, करोली, रीमा, बफिला गाव आदि आते है! इस क्षेत्र का सांस्करतिक महत्व भी है जिसके कारण लोग इस रंगीली नाकुरी भी कहते है !

Shivpuri is a small town in Tehri Garhwal District of Uttaranchal. It lies on the National Highway connecting Patisira and Rishikesh. Some of the nearby cities and villages are Kauriyala, Gular Dogi and Narendra Nagar.Rishikesh and Deoprayag are the nearest major towns

Shivpuri - 2 (Famous for Rafting)

Shivpuri is a small picturesque village on the foothills of the Himalayas. It is situated about 16 km from Rishikesh in Haridwar District. The village is famous for the Leopard Beach Tented Camp, an ideal base for adventure activities. With its trekking routes and bird watching areas, the village is an interesting place for tourists.

BINSAR (Almora)- 1

Binsar, the erstwhile summer capital of the Chand Rajas, is an acclaimed hill resort and one of the most scenic spot in the Kumaon Himalayas of Uttaranchal. Binsar is 120 km north of Nainital and around 34 km from Almora. This is also a famous Tourist Place.


Binsar 2 - (Binsar Mahadev - Pauri)

Situated at an altitude of 2,480 meters, at a distance of 22 km from Thalisain is the 9th century temple of Binsar Mahadev, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The sanctum of the temple also has idols of Lord Ganesh, Parvati and Durga.

Binsar - 3 (Bhikiasain, Ranikhet area)

There is a temple of Lord Shiva in a placed called Binsar which is ahead of Soni area in Ranikhet area. A fair takes place here during Shiv Ratri.[/size]

Rameshwar 1- (Pithogarah)

There is a place in Pithoragarh called Rameshwar where Lord Shiva Temple is siutated. Rameshwar: 36 kms from Pithoragarh is Rameshwar, located at the confluence of the Ram Ganga (East) and Saryu rivers.

Rameshwar 2- (Tamil Nadu)


The temple is situated on the eastern coast. It is a huge structure with three parakaramsand several mandapams with mini shrines to other deities. There is a huge Anjaneya in a mini shrine. There is a huge Nandi measuring 12 feet in length and 9 feet in height., with the idols of Viswanatha Naicker and Krishnama Naicker. The lingams are housed in the inner section of the Ramalingeshwara. High walls enclose the temple, forming a rectangle with huge pyramidal gopura entrances on each side. The gateways lead to the spacious closed ambulatory, flanked to either side by continuous platforms with massive pillers set on their edges. These corridors are the most famous attribute of the temple, their extreme - 205 metres, with 1212 pillars on the north and south sides - giving a remarkable impression of receding perspective. Delicate scrollwork and brackets of pendant lotuses supported by yalis, mythical lion-like beasts, adorn the pillars. There are shrines for Ganapathi and Subramanya. To the right of the Lords shrine is the shrine for Parvathi. To its North is the Kasi Viswanathars shrine
