                                     मार्केट चैनेल या वितरण की व्याख्या व भूमिका

वितरण का अर्थ है वह संस्थान और सेवा विधान जो ग्राहकों को पर्यटक स्थल अथवा पर्यटन सेवाओं का विक्री साहित्य , व अन्य जानकारी देता है। वितरक पर्यटन स्थल अथवा ग्राहक उपभोग्य वस्तु/सेवा /विचार और उपभोग से दूर या बहुत दूर  होता है।

वितरण एक कड़ी होती है जिससे सूचनाएं , ज्ञान , सेवायें  वित्त संवाहन करता है।  जैसे सूचना का आदान प्रदान हेतु -टूरिस्ट प्लेस -टूर ऑपरेटर - बड़े वितरक , छोटे छोटे वितरक।   बुकिंग का ग्राहक से धन - छोटे छोटे वितरक से बड़े वितरक से टूर ऑपरेटर तक और फिर पर्यटन स्थल के विभिन्न सेवा दाताओं के पास पंहुचता है। वितरक ग्राहक के निकटवर्ती स्थान  रहता है।  किन्तु अब नेट मार्केटिंग ने यह भ्रम भी तोड़  है कि वितरक को ग्राहक के पास होना आवश्यक है।

     विभिन्न प्रकार से, विभिन्न विक्री माध्यमों , खरीदी माध्यमों से वितरक सीधे ग्राहक को सूचना देता है और उन्हें पर्यटन स्थल तक जाने के लिए लालायित /पटाता है।  वितरक ग्राहक से पर्यटन स्थल जाने के लिए निर्णय लिवाता है ,अग्रिम सौदा करता है ,   अग्रिम धन वसूलता है।  और वितरक पर्यटक स्थल की वस्तुओं /सेवाओं , वस्तुओं /सेवाओं के उत्पादक , टूर ऑपरेटर व ग्राहक के बीच मध्यस्त या कड़ी का काम करता है।
