स्वर्णादर्ध च रजतातृतीयांश च ताम्रत I
चतुर्थांश तु षष्ठान्श लोहाद्वंगाच सीसकात्त II
रत्नार्थ चैव क्षारार्ध खनिजाद्वयशेषत: I
लाभधिक्यं कर्षकादैर्यथा दृष्टवा हरेत्फलम् II
त्रिधा वा पन्चथा कृत्वा सप्तधा दशधा आप वा I
तृष्णकाष्ठादिहरकाद्विंशत्यंशं हरेत्फलम् II
The King or the state / should levy the taxes from following at following rates
Taxes should be as - Half of Gold, one third of silver, one fourth of copper, one sixth of zinc or iron, half of the different gems, half of glass and the lead, half on the salt and base minerals after all the expenses are met and taxes should be charged on net profit..
The state or King should charge taxes one third, one seventh, one tenth and or one twentieth on the grasses, wood etc.
