When such readers get regional periodicals free they appreciate the sacrifice and the move of publishers but when you talk about paying to regional periodicals they become angry.

In this article, Kukreti also exposes the yellow journalism

Review of Ridiculing power in Garhwali Satire – 20
(Analysis of ridiculing power of Garhwali Satire created by Bhishma Kukreti-16)

                           Review by:  Bhishma Kukreti
[Notes on ridiculing power of satire; ridiculing power of Garhwali satire; ridiculing power of Uttarakhandi language satire; ridiculing power of Mid Himalayan  language satire; ridiculing power of Himalayan language satire; ridiculing power of North Indian language satire; ridiculing power of Indian regional language satire; ridiculing power of South Asian regional language satire; ridiculing power of Asian regional language satire]

Megan LeBoeuf (The Power of ridicule: An Analysis of Satire, 2007) states that satire has power to point the deficiencies in human behaviors; satire has power to ridicule the social issues hilariously and the power of ridiculing by satire entertain the readers or viewers too. Megan LeBoeuf further states that today satire is very powerful artistic form used to criticize specific human character.
Bhishma Kukreti published hundred of satirical essays in Garhwali ridiculing various deficiencies in various areas. The satire of Bhishma Kukreti ridicules insufficiency sharply.
Dyaradun ka dai (Garh Aina, 14/5/1989) - There are various names for bullies and anti social human beings in each society. In Dehradun around 1974, the Gunda, or notorious guys were called Dai. Kukreti powerfully ridicule the culture of Dai who tease the girls in their own locality but are coward before strong opposition. The Dai are powerful in their own locality. Dai are males but the writer misunderstood them as nurses

Shri Jug Garh Aina, 30/8/1989)- Kukreti ridicule the human behavior that copy the popular culture or behavior of popular human being. The Mahabharata and Ramayana influenced Indians so much that they started adding Shri instead of Ji. Kukreti shows that ji is nothing but Shri as Arabians could not pronounce Shri and they changed Shri as Ji.
The above satires powerfully ridicule the social behavior.
