  Barmi ka is the story of Barmi kaka that is happy in Garhwal. His son takes job in city. Barmi ka had to settle in city with his son and daughter in law. It is painful for Barmi ka to adapt with the new life in city. There is tremendous tension between him and his new generation daughter in law. The daughter in law ignores her father in law and insults him too. Barmi ka comes back to his ancestral house in village. Is Barmi ka happy there?
  The story writer Sudama Prasad is successful in showing the pain of migration at old age and struggle between two generations.

               Akhlya was alone when he comes to know this world. His parents die early. His Fufu took him with her but unfortunately she also expired. His kin did not take responsibility for his nurturing. A Harijan family started taking care for him. He started cordial relation with Baishakhi the daughter of a Harijan Gampla. They come to know that they are in love. However, it was unheard a upper class boy marrying a Harijan girl.  The love is not for body but for an eternal purpose.
   There is struggle between class wars in the story too.

                  Sudama Prasad ‘Premi’ is one of the important signatures of Garhwali poetry and fiction.  His stories are mirror of Garhwal and Garhwalis with sufficient imagination. Imaginary webbing is specialty of Premi.
                 Ghanghtol is in autobiography style. The main characters of Sudama Prasad are sensitive, emotional and have love for something. l Most of his main characters are ideal and aware about their responsibilities.  Creating emotional characters is again specialty of Sudama Prasad. Premi create love scene with emotion.
          The Garhwali fiction writer Sudama Prasad Premi create There is the contemporary Garhwali situation atmosphere and characters in his stories. Premi uses of symbols are appropriate with the situation.
  Premi uses description of situation and the characters dialogues parallel for making strong characterization. Premi uses common Garhwali words and not city words. He uses proverbs abundantly. The stories related to migrated Garhwali subject are mostly having pain of separation.  There is no doubt that Premi uses Hindi words abundantly for smooth flow of stories.  Dialogues are to accelerate the flow of stories in stories of Sudama Prasad Premi.
The place of Sudama Prasad Premi is important in Garhwali literature.

  There are forty stories in ‘Katha Kumud’ a story collection by Abodh Bandhu Bahuguna.
      The man does not want to indulge in crime but may indulge by mistake or accident. By mistake, a kind hearted old man kills a notorious boy while he is stealing mangos. The story is tense as the old man is not able to bear the pain though, he did not kill the boy intentionally. The fiction writer Abodh Bandhu Bahuguna creates tension for the readers too.

  Jyundar is story of struggle of a poor widow. She has to struggle against all odds for her survival. There is no food for her but she is forced to pay gift or food to government servant. She does not have cereal but it is important that she feeds the government servant. She offers him curd.

    Both the stories are about new characteristics arising from time to time. If she is prostitute that does not mean she does not have flesh, she does not have blood and soul. A prostitute proofs that class is our created classification but humanity is our prime religion or class.

 Bahuguna took various subject and style for his Garhwali stories. In Parivartan story, he takes the subject of Savarn and Harijan. Jithi ma (Savarn Class) adopts Duanni a Harijan girl as her daughter. Such subject was very controversial before sixties. Bahuguna takes the reads in the past about the different attitude and discrimination towards different classes in Garhwali society.

    Patan story by Bahuguna opens many aspects of differences between upper caste and Harijan cast. The story attacks on dark side of untouchability too.
                Sushila finds that her husband is Harijan after the marriage. Her parents are shocked that their family is fallen from upper crest to the lowest level
               The story finds the inner part of emotion when a human finds that the class creation and acts of class differentiation is the call of situation and not the call of humanity.

Reblu Rawat is a story about a lata (follish) person. Bahuguna tells the tale of culprits who create stories to tease simple person as Reblu Raut. The story seems as if everybody knows the characters.
Pran Raksha- hansu Mistri is expert in talking and his prompt reactionary answers are amazing. The readers are well versed with the characters as Hansu Mistri. Story teller Bahuguna searches the causes behind prompt reactionary answer capability of Hansu Mistri.
