Today is Tuesday, the  third of July.

Ich habe eine gute Uhr.  Es ist genau zehn Uhr (und) achtzehn (Minuten).
It is exactly ten o'clock (and) eighten (Minutes).
Ebagat thik das baji ki ataarah minat hunyan chhan.
एबगत ठीक दस बजी की अठारह मिनट हुन्या छन.


Ihre Uhr geht nicht richtig. Sie geht drei Minuten nach.
 Your watch is not right (correct). It is  three minutes slow.
Tumari / aapaki Ghadi thik neech. Ya teen minat Paithar cha.

तुमरी /  आपकी घडी ठीक नीच. या तीन मिनट पैथर ( चलणी ) च.
 


Unsere Wanduhr geht vor. Sie geht funf Minuten vor.
Our (wall ) clock is fast. It is five minutes fast.
Hamari (diwal) ghadi tej cha. Ya panch minat tej cha.
हमरि ( दीवाल ) घडी तेज च. या पाँच मिनट तेज च.
 


Meine Taschenuhr geht nicht. Ich muss sie aufziehen.
My pocket watch does not go. I must wind it up.
Meri keesa ghadi ni chalni cha. Mithai yeen phar chabi deeni pwadali.
 मेरी कीसा की घडी णी चल णी च.  मिथै ईं फ़र चाबी दीणी प्वाडली.   



Meine Taschenuhr ist aus Silber. Ihre Armbanduhr ist aus Gold.
My (Pocket) watch is made out of Silber.Your wrist watch is made out of gold.
Meri jeb ghadi chandi ki cha. Tumari hataa ki ghadi soona ki banee cha.
मेरी कीसा की घडी चंदी की च. तुमरी हता की घडी सूना की बणी च.



Die Uhr hat zwei Zeiger. Dir grosse Zeiger zeigt die Minuten, der kleine die stunden.
The watch has two hands. The big hand shows the minutes,the small( one) the hours
Ghadi phar dwee su-ee chhan. Badi minat dikhand, choti wali ghanto ki cha.
 घडी फ़र द्वी सुई (कांटा) छन. बड़ी मिनट दिखान्द, छोटी वाली घंटों की च.



Viele Uhren zeigen die Sekunden.
Many watches shows the seconds.
bhandya ghadi sekand bhi batandi.

भड्या घडी सेकण्ड भि बतंदी .


Hans und Grete gehen in die Schule. Die Schule beginnt um acht Uhr und endet um eins.
Hans and Grete go to school. The school begins at eight O'clock and ends at one.
Hans ar Gret sgole jandi. Sgole aat baji shuroo hoond ar ek baji khatam hoond.
 हंस अर ग्रेट स्गोल जंदी . स्गोल आट बजी शुरू हूंद अर एक बजी ख़तम हूंद.



Um halb zwei kommen sie nach Hause zum Mittagessen.
At half passed one they come home for lunch.
Ded baji wu ghour khana khanu ku andeen.
डेड बजी वू घौर खाणा  खाणु कु अन्दीन.



Am Nachmittag gehen sie nicht in die Schule.
In the afternoon they do not go to school.
Byakhunda wu sgole ni jaanda .
ब्याखुन्दा वू स्गोल णी जांदा .



 Sie bleiben zu Hause und machen ihre Schularbeiten.
They stay at home and do their home work.
Wu ghour ma randeen ar apdoo sgola ku  hom wark kardeen.

 वू घौर मा रंदीं अर अपडू स्गोला कु होम वर्क करदीं.



Ich stehe um sieben Uhr auf.  Dann gehe ich ins Badezimmer und wasche mich.
I get up at seven o'clock. Then I go to the bathroom and wash (myself )
 
Mi saat baji uthi jandu. We ka baad mi gushalkhana ma nana khuni jaandu.
मि सात बजी उठी जांदू. वे का बाद मि गुशलखाना मा नाणा खुणी  जांदू 

 

Ich wasche mich mit Wasser und Seife.
I wash myself with water and soap.
Mi aputhai pani ar sabun l dhoondu chhoun.
मि अपुतै पाणी अर साबूणल धूंदु छौं . 
 


Dann gehe ich ins Schlafzimmer zuruck und kleide mich an.
Then I go back into the bedroom and dress myself.
Tab mi wapas apdu seena ku kamra ma jandu ar laara pairi ki taiyar hoondu.
तब मि वापस अप्डू सीण कु कमरा मा जांदू  अर लारा पैरी की तैयार हूंदू .

 GERMAN :    Hier sind funf Hauser. Das erste Haus ist klein. ENGLISH :   Here are five hauses. The first house is small. ROMAN GARHWALI :-   Yakh panch kooda chhan. Paillya koodu chwatu cha. गढ़वाली : यख पाँच कूड़ा छन. पैल्या कु   कूडु छ्वटु च.
Das zweite Haus ist auch klein, aber nicht so klein wie das erste. The second house is also small, but not as small as the first. Dusaru koodu bhi chotu cha, par wutga chotu neech jatga pailya ku cha. दुसरू कुडू भि छ्वाटु  च, पर वुत्गा छ्वटु  नीच जत्गा पैल्या कु च.
Das erste Haus ist kleiner als das zweite. Das dritte Haus ist so gross wie das vierte. The first  house is smaller than the second.The third house is as big as the fourth. Pailya ku kudoo dwasroo se chotu cha. Tisaru kudoo chouthu ka jani bwadoo cha. पैल्या कु कुडू दुसरू से छ्वटु  च. तिसरू कूडू चौथू का जानि ब्वडू च. Dal funfte Haus ist noch grosser. Es ist das grosste Haus. Das erste Haus ist das kleinste. The fifth house is still bigger. It is the biggest house. The first house is the smallest. Panchoun kudoo phir bhi badoo cha.Yu sabse badoo kudoo cha. Pailya ku sabse chotu cha. पांचौं कुडू फिर भि बडू च. यु सबसे बडू कुडू च.  पैल्या कु सबसे छ्वटु च.

   Dies sind funf Linien. Die erste Linie ist schr lang. Die zweite ist auch lang. These are five lines. The first line is very long. The second is also long. Ee panch lain chhan. Pailya ki lain bhout lambi cha. Dusari bhi lambi cha. ई पाँच लैन छन. पैल्या की  लैन भौत लम्बी च. दूसरी भि लम्बी च.
Sie ist fast so lang wie die erste. Die dritte, die vierte und die funfte Linien sind kurz. It is almost as long as the first. The third, the fourth and the fifth lines are short. Ya lagbhag pailya ki lain brabar lambi cha. Tisari, chouthi ar panchon lain choti chhan. या लग भग पैल्या की लैन बराबर लम्बी च. तीसरी , चौथी अर पांचों लैन छ्वटि  छन.
Die vierte Linie ist so kurz wie die dritte. Die erste Linie ist ein wenig langer als die zweite. The fourth line is as short as the third. The first line is a little longer than the second. Chouthi lain tisari ka barabar choti chha. Pailya ki lain jarraa si dusari lain se lambi cha. चौथी लैन तीसरी का बराबर छोटी च. पैल्या की लैन जर्रा सि दूसरी लैन से लम्बी च.
Die zweite Linie ist ein wenig kurzer als die erste. The second line is a little shorter than the first. Dusari lain pailya ki lain se jarra si choti cha. दूसरी लैन पैल्या की लैन से जर्रा सि छ्वटि  च.
Die dritte Linie ist sehr dunn. Sie ist dunner als die erste und die zweite. The third line is very thin. It is thinner than the first and the second. Tisari lain bhout pathli cha. Ya paili ar dusari lain se bhi pathli cha. तीसरी लैन भौत पथलि  च. या पैली अर दूसरी लैन से भि पाठलि च. 
Die vierte Linie ist sehr dick. Die zweite Linie ist auch dick, aber nicht so dick wie die vierte. The fourth line is very thick. The second line is also thick, but not as thick as the fourth. Chouthi lain bhout motee cha. Dusari lain bhi motee cha par wutga na jatga chouthi cha. चौथी लैन भौत मोटी च. दूसरी लैन भि मोटी च पर वुत्गा ना जत्गा  चौथी च.
Die vierte Linie ist die dickste, die dritte ist die dunnste. The fourth line is the thickest, the third  is the thinnest. chouthi lain sabse motee cha. tisari sabse pathli cha चौथी लैन सबसे मोटी च.तीसरी सबसे पथलि च.
Die erste Linie ist die langste, die funfte die kurzeste. The first line is the longest, the fifth the shortest. Pailya ki lain sabse lambi  cha, panchon sabse chhoti. पैल्या की लैन सबसे लम्बी च. पांचौं  सबसे छोटी.
Hans ist zehn Jahre alt, sein Vetter Fritz ist zwolf Jahre alt, seine Kusine Hilde ist acht Jahre alt.
Hans is ten years old, his cousin Fritz is twelve years old, his cousin Hilda is eight years old. Hans dus saala ku cha, weku chacheru Fritz baara saala ku, weku chacheru Hilda aath saala ku cha.
हंस दस साला कु च, वेकु चचेरू फ्रिट्ज़ (नाम) बार साला कु, वेकु चचेरू हिल्डा(नाम) आठ साला कु च.
 Hans ist also zwei Jahre junger als sein Vetter und zwei Jahre alter  als  seine Kusine Hilde. Hans is therefore two years  younger than his cousin and two years older than his cousin Hilda. Tabhi ta Hans  dwee saal weku kasin se chotu cha  ar dwee saal jaada budhya cha weku kajin Hilda se. तभि त हंस द्वी साल वेकु कजिन  से छोटू च अर द्वी साल जादा बुढया च वेकु कजिन हिल्डा से.


Grete ist neun Jahre  alt; sie ist also ein Jahr junger als  ihr Bruder.
Grate is nine years old ; she is therefore one year younger than her brother.   
Grate nau saala ki  cha; ye bajai se wa ek saal chotee cha weenku bhai se.
ग्रेट नौ साला की च. ए बजै  से व एक साल छ्वा ti  च weeku bhai से.

   Herr und Frau Lessing haben vier Kinder. Mr. and Mrs Lessing have four children.
Mr. ar Mrs Lessing ka chaar nounyal chhan.
  मिस्टर  अर मिसेज ल्यसिंग का चार  नौन्याल छन.
Fraulein Lessing ist das alteste Kind, Hilde das jungste.
Miss Lessing is the oldest child , Hilda the youngest.
Nauni Lessing sabse baddi , Hilda sabse choti nauni cha.
नौनी ल्यसिंग सबसे बड्डी , हिल्डा सबसे छोटी नौनी च.

   Wie alt ist Herr Lessing ? Er ist vierundvierzig  Jahre alt. How old is Mr. Lessing ? He is forty four years old.
Mr. Lessing katna saala ku cha ? Wu chawalees saala ku cha.
मिस्टर ल्यसिंग कतना साला कु च ? वू चवालीस साला कु च.

   Er ist zwei Jahre alter als seine Frau. Sie ist also zweiundvierzig. He is two years older than his wife. She is therefore forty two.
Wu dwee saal badu cha apadi janani se.  Ye bajai se wa bayaleesa ki cha.
वू द्वी साल बडू च अपड़ी जननी से. ए बजै से व बयालीस की च.

    Wer ist junger, Frau Lessing oder ihr Bruder, Herr Schulz ? Who is younger, Mrs. Lessing or her brother, Mr. Schulz ?
Ku chotu cha, Mrs. Lessing  ya  weenku bhai, Mr. Schulz ?
कु छोटु च, मिसेज ल्यसिंग या वीन्कू भाई, मिस्टर शुल्ज़  ?


Herr Schulz ist junger als seine Schwester. Er ist ein Jahr junger  als sie.
Mr. Schulz is younger than his sister. He is  one year younger than she.
Mr. Schulz  apane bhainee se chhotu cha. Wu ek saal ween se chotu cha.
मिस्टर शुल्ज़ अपणी भैनी से  छोटु च. वू एक साल वीं से छोटु च.

   Er ist einundvierzig und seine Schwester zweiundvierzig. He is forty one and his sister forty two.
Wu ek-chali sa ku cha ar weki bhainee bayaleesa ki .
वू एक्चालिस सा कु च अर वेकि भैनी बयालीस की

   Ist Herr Schulz alter oder junger als seine Frau ? Er ist drei Jahre alter. Is Mr Schulz older or younger than his wife ? He is three years older.
Kya Mr Schulz apani janani se  budhya ya jawan cha ? wu teen saal badoo cha.
क्या मिस्टर शुल्ज़ अपणी जनानी से  बुढया  या जवान च?  वू तीन साल बडू च.

   Frau Schulz ist also achtunddreissig Jahre alt. Ja, das ist richtig. Mr Schulz is therefore thirty eight years old. Yes, that is right.
Ye bajai se Mr. Schulz adtees saala ku cha. Han,  wu thik cha.
ए बजै से मिस्टर शुल्ज़ अडतीस साला कु च. हाँ. वू ठिक च.

Unsere Eltern lieben uns, und wir lieben sie. Our  parents love us and we love them. Hamara Bew - Baap hamtai pyar kardee ar ham woontai pyar kardawa. हमरा ब्व़े-बाप हम्ते प्यार करदी अर  हम वून्थई प्यार करदावा.      Ich liebe sie, und sie lieben mich. I love them and they love me. Tulip ek khubsoorat fool cha.  तुलिप(फूल) एक ख़ूबसूरत फूल च.   Die Nelke ist schoner, die Rose ist am schonsten. The carnation  is more beautiful, the rose is  the most beautiful. karnation hori bhi jyada khoobsurat cha, Gulab sabse jyada khubsoorat cha. कारनेसन(फूल) होंरी भि भ डया खूबसूरत च.गुलाब सबसे भड्या खुबसूरत च.   Ich habe Nelken gern, ich habe Tulpen lieber,aber ich habe Rosen am liebsten. I like carnation,I like Tulip better, but I like rose best. Me karnation tai pasand kardoo, me Tulip tai jyada pasand karandu, par me rose tai sabse jyada pasand karadoo.  मिथै कर्नेसन पसंद च. मि तुलिप थै ज्यादा पसंद करदू पर मि  गुलाब थै सबसे ज्याद पसंद करदू.        Was trinken Sie lieber, Tee oder Kafee ? Which do you prefer to drink. Tea or coffee ? Tum kya  peenu pasand karila.  Chya ya kafee ?
तुम क्या पीणु पसंद करिला. च्या या काफी ?
 
Ich trinke Tee lieber, aber ich trinke auch gern Kafee. I prefer tea but I also like coffee. Meri paili pasand chya cha,  par me kaffee bhi pasand kardoo.  मेरी  पैली पसंद च्या च, पर मि काफी भि पसंद करदू.
    Herr Schulz trinkt am liebsten Bier. Mr. Schulz likes beer best. Mistar Schulz bear peenu sabse jyada  pasand karad.  मिस्टर शुल्ज़ बिअर पीणु सबसे ज्यादा पसंद करद.

Was trinken Sie am liebsten? What do you like best to drink ? Tum sabse jyada kya peenu pasand karila ?  तुम सबसे ज्यादा क्या पीणु पसंद करिला ?
 Ich trinke am liebsten Rotwein. I like red wine best. Me sabse jyada laal sharab (wine) peenu pasand karadu.  मि सबसे ज्यादा लाल शराब (वाइन ) पीणु पसंद करदू.

Essen Sie gern Erdbeeren ? Do you like strawberries ? Kya tum strobari pasand kardawa ? क्या तुम इस्ट्रोबरी पसंद करदवा ?   
 
Ich esse sie gern, aber ich esse Kirschen lieber. I like them, but I like cherries better. Me woontai pasand karandu, par me chherri jyada pasand karandu.  में वूतै पसंद करदू, पर मि चेरी ज्यादा पसंद करदू.

Herr Lessing liest gern Romane.
Mr. Lessing  likes reading novels.
Mistar Lessing upnyas padhunu  pasand kard
मिस्टर ल्यसिंग उपन्यास पढ़णु पसंद करद .
 
Er liest gerade einen Roman von Emile Zola.
He is just reading a novel by Emile Zola.
Woo abhi ek upnyas Emile Zola ki lyakhin padhnu cha.
वू अभी एक अपन्यास इमाइल  जोला की ल्यखिं पढ्नु च.

 I find them quite interesting, but I prefer reading a
book by Galsworthy.

Ich lese franzosische Romane ganz gern, aber ich lese
englische Bucher lieber.
I like reading French novels quite well, but I prefer to

This is the twelfth lesson. You can now already speak a little Garhwali
Yu ab baron path ai gya.  Ab tum pailee thoda bhaut Garahwali bolan lagyan.
 
यु अब बारों पाठ ऐ ग्याई. अब तुम पैली थोडा भौत गढ़वाली बोलन लग्याँ.
 

ich will das Brot schneiden, aber ich habe kein Messer.
I want to cut the bread, but I have no knife.
Me rwati thai katunu chandu, par mi m chakoo hi neech.
मि अब रव़ाटि थै कटुणु चान्दु , पर मि म चकु हि  नि च. 
 

Ohne ein Messer kann ich das Brot nicht schneiden.
Without a knife I cannot cut the bread.
Bina chaku ku mi rwati ni katee sakdu.
बिना चकु कु मि रव़ाटि नि काटी सकदु.


Hans will einen Brief schreiben,

Hans wants to write a letter,
Hans ek chithi lyakhunu chanooch,
हंस एक चिठ्ठी ल्याख्णु चाणू च.


aber er hat weder einen Bleistift noch eine Feder.
but he has neither a pencil nor a pen.
par wem na t pinsin cha ar n ta ek kalam.
पर वें ना त पिन्सिन च अर ना त एक कलम.


Ohne schreibmaterial kann er seinen Brief nicht schreiben.
Without writing material he cannot write his letter.
Bagair samaan (lyakhna) ku wu chithi ni lekhi sakdu.
बगैर समान(ल्यखना) कु  वू चिठ्ठी नि लेखी सकदु.


Frau X will einen neuen Hut Kaufen.
Mrs X wants to buy a new hat.
Misej X ek nai twapli  kharidan chand.
मिसेज X  एक  नै ट्वापली खरीदण चां द.


Der Hut kostet zwolf Mark, und sie hat nicht so viel Geld.
The hat costs twelve Marks,and she has not so much money.
Twapla baara Mark ku cha, ar weem itga painsa ni chhan.
ट्वापला बार मार्क कु च., अर वीम इतगा पैंसा नि छन.


Dieser Mann hat seinen Hausschlussel verloren.
This man has lost the key of his house.
Ye admil apda ghour ki chabi harcha deen.
ए आद मिल अपड़ा घौर की चाबी हर्चा दीं.


Er kann die Tur nicht aufschliessen. Niemand ist zu Hause.

He can not unlock the door. No one is at house.
Wu darwaju ni kholi sakdu. Ghour ma kwee ni cha.
वू दरवाजू नि खोली सकदु. घौर मा क्वी नि च.


Fr will durch das offene Fenster steigen. Er kann es nicht.
He wants to climb through the open window. He cannot do it.
Wu khuleen khidki batee chadhu nu cha nu cha. Wu inoo ni kairi saknu cha.
वू खुलीं खिड़की बटी चढ़णु चाणु च.वू इनु नि कैरि सक्णु च.


Das Fenster ist zu klein, und er ist zu dick. Seine Frau ist im kino.
The window is too small and he is  too stout. His wife in the Cinema.
Khidkee bhaut chwatee cha ar wu bhandya mwatoo. We ki janani sanima m ch.
खिड़की भौत छोटी च अर वू भांड्या म्वाटू. वे की जनानी सनीमा म च.


Er muss warten, bis sie nach Hause Kommt.
He must wait until she comes home.
We thai intajaar karan pwadalu jab tak ki wa ghour wapas aand.
वे थै इंतज़ार करण प्वाडलु ज़ब तक की वा घौर वापस आन्द.

German is a language.
German ek bhasha cha.
जर्मन एक भाषा च.
 


Andere Sprachen sind Englisch, Franzosisch,Russisch, Spanisch, Italienisch und so weiter.

Other languages are English, French, Russian,Spanish, Italian and so on.
Hori bhasha chhan Angreji, Fransisee, Roosi, Purtgali, Itali  ar hori bhi.
होंरी भाषा छन अंग्रेजी , फ्रांसीसी ,रूसी, पुर्गली, इटली,अर होंरी भि .


Konnen Sie Franzosisch sprechen ? Nur sehr weing.
can you speak French ? Only very little.
Kya tum Fransisee boli sakdawa ? Jaraa si, bhout kaam.
क्या तुम फ्रांसीसी बोली सक्दावा ? ज़रा सि, भौत कम.


Ich kann lesen und schreiben, aber nicht sprechen.
I can read and write, but not speak it.
Me paidi ar lekhi sakdu, but boli ni sakdu.
मि पैड़ी अर लेखी सकदु, पर बोली नि सकदु.


Ich kann Franzosen verstehen, wenn sie nicht zu schnell sprechen.
I can understand Frenchman, if they don't speak too fast.
Me Frans waloo tai samajhi sakdu, agar wu bhoaut tej ni bol-la ta.
मि फ़्रांस वालू तै समझी सकदु, अगर वी भौत तेज नि बोल -ल त.


Verstehen Sie mich, wenn ich Garhwali spreche ?
Do you understand me when I speak Garhwali ?
kya tum mitai samajhi jandawa jab me Garhwali bolandu ?
 क्या तुम मि थै  समझी जन्दावा  ज़ब मि गढ़वाली बोलंदु ?


Bitte, sprechen Sie langsam und deutlich, dann kann ich Sie verstehen.
Please speak slowly and distinctly, then I can understand you.
 Krpa kairi ki mathu mathu ar  saaf bola, tab me tumthai samajhi sakdu.
क्रपा कैरि की मठु मठु अर साफ़ बोला,तब मि तुम्थई समझि सकदु.


Finden Sie Garhwali leicht oder schwer ?
Do you find Garhwali  easy or difficult ?
Tum Garhwali tai songi ya mushkil pandawa ?
तुम गढ़वाली तै सोंगी या मुश्किल पन्दावा ?
