Raimad

This word relates to cuisine of Uttarakhand. There is a tree called Timul. The fruit of this tree are used in making Raimad. To make the “Ramaid”, timul fruits are crashed in Okhli and after missing salt etc, it called “Raimad”.
In Garhwali it is called Raimodi and generally Buraansh flowers are used for it.
