छ्वाया -छंछडौं
अर माटा पर गै।

 हमsरि  नजर
झडदा पातौं
अर लमडदा ल्वाडौं पर गै।

पर   हमsरि  नजर
तूणी अर देवदारा
टकटका डाळो पर नि गै
घाम बरखा अर ह्यूं से निझरक
मुंड उठै खड़ा
उच्चा उच्चा डाँडौं नि गै

 हरेक भारतीय चांदो एक घंटा कु वास्ता ही सै वु /वा प्रधानमंत्री बण जावो।  पर परसि बिटेन मि चाणु छौं बल मि प्रधानमंत्री नि हों त ठीक च। 
हाँ जब बिटेन कजीरवाळ कम्पनीन पत्रकार सम्मलेन बुलैका सब देशवासियों तै बथाइ कि भारत की सब सम्या खतम ह्वे गेन अर भारत की एकमात्र समस्या च कि भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री  नरेंद्र मोदी ग्रेजुएट नी च। अर तैदिन बटें मेरी प्रधानमंत्री हूणै इच्छा गायब ह्वे गे , प्रधानमंत्री हूणै स्याणी -गाणी खत्ताउंद चली  गै , प्राइम मिनिस्टर हूणै आकांक्षा बैकुंठ   जोग ह्वे गे।
हाँ जी जु मि प्रधानमंत्री हूंद अर कजीरवाळ पार्टी का सबसे बड़ो कजीर फिंक्वा अरबिंद कजीरवाळ मैं पर तोहमत लगांदु बल भीष्मा कुकरेती की सब सर्टिफिकेट जाळी छन त सचकि मि तै प्रधानमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा दीण पड़द अर सोनिया बौका समझाण पर बि मीन इस्तीफा वापस नि लीण छौ।
जी हाँ मि त कखि जोग बि नि छौं।
मि जै दिन स्कूलम भर्ती ह्वे छौ , म्यार मास्टर जीन मेरी जन्म तिथि 2 -4 -1952 - पांच पासक सर्टिफिकेट मा लेखी दे अर कसम से आज बि मेरी ब्वे धै लगै लगैक बुल्दी बल म्यार भीषम तो 24 गते भादों का  हुयुं च , मेरी घरवळि पंडित तै फोन या व्हट्सअप करिक खुलेआम सूचना दींदि कि द बर्थ डेट ऑफ माई  हजबैंड इज ऑन 10 थ सेप्टेंबर।  मतलब कजीरवाळ तो मेफर जोर से कजीर चुलै दींदु कि मीन बर्थडेट बि झूठी लिखवाई।  चूँकि सन 52 मा ग्राम प्रधान का यु कर्तव्य नि छौ कि जन्मतिथि रजिस्टरड करो तो मीम अपण जन्म
तिथि 2 -4 -1952 करणो क्वी साधन नि रौण छौ अर कजीरवाळ सरा भारतीय टीवी चैनलों तै म्यरा जनमपतड़ी दिखाणु रौंद कि मीन देश तै धोखा दे।
 इथगा ही हूंद तो मेरी पार्टी का अध्यक्ष क्वी बि शाह अर वित्त मंत्री सब महत्वपूर्ण काम छोड़िक पत्रकार सम्मेलन मा खोज्खाजिक म्यार जन्म तिथि 2 -4 -1952 सिद्ध कर  ही दींदा।  निथर अर्णब गोस्वामी , जी न्यूज , इंडिया टीवी , न्यूज X वळ बि सिद्ध करी ही लींदा बल मि 2 अप्रैलाकुण ही पैदा हूँ।  यदयपि इंडिया टुडे का राजदीप सरदेसाई सरा दिन भर ब्रेकिंग न्यूज मा मेरी जनमपतड़ी ही दिखाणु   रौंद।
 पर कजीरवाळ तो कजीर फिंकण ही जाणदु त वु फिर पत्रकार सम्मेलन मा घोषणा करदु कि Bhishma Kukreti वु भीष्म कुकरेती नी च जु प्रधान मंत्री बताणा छन। 
अर नाम का मुत्तलिक कुछ हौर बि घचपच हुईं च म्यार सर्टिफिकिटों  मा।
छै मा ग्यों त म्यार अंग्रेजी मा नाम धरे गे Bhishm Chandra Kukrety . तब जसपुर -ग्वील ही ना मल्ला ढांगू का कुकरेती की स्पेलिंग Kukrety लिखदा छ तो दर्जा आठ का सर्टिफिकेट मा म्यार नाम च -Bhishm Chand Kukrety शयद सिलोगी स्कूल का कलर्क तैं चंद शब्द मा छन्द आये और द्र की जगा केवल द लिखे गे।
मि देहरादून औं तो हिंदी मा MA वळ अंग्रेजी विद्वानुंन सला दे बल कुकरेती की  सही स्पेलिंग Kukreti हूंद अर जन Ashoka या Yoga मा a लिखे जांद तनि Bhishm की जगा Bhishma सही स्पेलिंग च । त  मीन दस का फॉर्म भरण मा ल्याख Bhishma  Chandra Kukreti  किन्तु बारवीं का सर्टिफिकेट से Bhishma  Chand Kukreti  छौं।  हाँ BSc . MSc  सर्टिफिकेट का हिसाब से मि   Bhishma  Chandra  Kukreti  ही छौं।
मुंबई आण का बाद म्यार नाम मा अजीब सि बदलाव आई।  महाराष्ट्र -गुजरात मा कै नाम मा दुसर नाम बुबा जी या पति का हूंद।  तो भौत क्या म्यार राशन कार्ड अर इलेक्सन कार्ड मा म्यार नाम च - भिष्म कुक्रेति अर पिता का नाम च - चन्द्र कुक्रेति।
पैन कार्ड मा म्यार नाम च -भिष्म कुक्रेति अर पिता का नाम चन्द्र के आर कुकरेती।  असल मा मीन तो Name -Bhishma  Chandra Kukreti अर Father's  Name  - K . R Kukreti ही लेखी छौ पर मराठी भाषी कलर्कान म्यार नाम छापी दे - भिष्म कुक्रेति अर पिता का नाम -  चन्द्र के आर कुक्रेति। 
मेरी घरवळि का दगड़ बि कुछ इनि ह्वे।  कोटद्वार याने गढ़वाल विष्वविद्यालय का सर्टिफिकेट मा मेरी घरवळि क नाम छौ  उमा कुमारी कुकरेती।  तो मुंबई मा भौत सा सरकारी कागजों मा  मेरी घरवळि का पति का नाम च 'कुमारी कुक्रेति'।   
  इन मा यदि मि प्रधान मंत्री हूंद तो अरबिंद कजीरवाळ न खाली मेरी डिग्री तै हि जाळी नि बथाण छौ अपितु वैन सिद्ध कर  दीण छौ कि मि कै कुमारी कुक्रेति की घरवळि तै जबरदस्ती उठैक लौं।

इलै भलो ह्वे मि प्रधान मंत्री नि हों निथर मीन सब काम काज छोड़िक अपण नाम तै सही सिद्ध करणम व्यस्त रौण छौ।

        The situation of Gurkha/Nepalese army was very weak in West of Kali River. Therefore, Bamshah tried for friendly treaty with British a few times. British were sure that Bamshah was waiting for suitable opportunity to come that Nepalese army reached to Kumaon from Nepal. On 14th May, Nepal government sent an army of 633 soldiers for Kumaon from Kathmandu. Nepalese government assured that more soldiers would be sent to Kumaon. However, before Nepalese army would reach to Kumaon, British had already captured Almora.

                    Literature Historian:  Bhishma Kukreti


          Bhavani Datt Thapliyal is first Modern Playwright of Garhwali Language. Bhavani Datt Thapliyal wrote two major Modern Stage Plays in Garhwali Language.
  Bhavani Datt Thapliyal was born in Khaid village, Mawalsyun of Pauri Garhwal in 1867.  The first Modern Garhwali dramatist Bhawani Datt Thapliyal expired on 29th April 1932. His grandson Urmil Thapliyal is famous Dramatist of Hindi and Garhwali.
  Bhawani Datt Thapliyal worked with state service in District Board of British Raj. Bhawani Datt Thapliyal started Hindi poetry in his literature career but later on shifted to Garhwali language literature.   Bhavani Datt Thapliyal published a few Garhwali poems too.

              After British reaching and capturing Dehradun, the Kamin, Sayana and villagers of Salan (South Garhwal) were ready for rebelling against Gurkha. Bagha Raut of Salan sent altter to Tularam about villagers being ready against Gurkha. TDue to circumstances, British did not send the army either in Alaknand valley or Chilkha-Kotdwara belt. Adjutant General Fagan visited Moradabad and Governor General visited Haridwar but they did not send the army to South Garhwal.  When British army captured Chamuakhal region of Bhagirathy valley Gurkha army made Shrinagar as their centre for army. Lieutenant Colonel Gardner established Army camps in various places of Kumaon. Estblishing army camps in Kumaon, British cut the communication line for Gurkha between Shrinagar Garhwal and Kumaon.
      Enthusiastically, Garhwalis of east Garhwal and Kumaonis of west Kumaon started resisting Gurkha administration.  There were 150 Gurkha soldiers in Lobhagarh, The Garhwali soldiers from Lobhagarh region stopped water supply for Gurkha soldiers in Lobhagarh Fort. By getting weapons from Gardner, Garhwalis attacked on Gurkha too. On 22nd April 1815, Gurkha soldiers ran away from Lobhagarh for Shrinagar. This was a type of revolution against Gurkha from civilians in Garhwal.

        वासुदेव के पश्चात कनिष्क परिवार का शासन छिन्न -भिन्न हो गया।  भारतीय स्रोत्रों से कनिष्क परिवार के शासन अंत के कारणों पर कोई प्रकाश नहीं पड़ता है।  ईरानी स्रोत्रों से (घृशमैन -ईरान ) विदित होता है कि ईरानी सम्राट शापुर ( 247 -272 AD ) ने सम्भवतः 262 के लगभग पश्च्मि कुषाण राज्य को याने सिंधु नदी तक हथिया लिया था और शापुर के वंशजों ने 'कुशाणशाहनशाह ' (कुषाण नरेशों के शाह ) उपाधि धारण की थी।
          जिन प्रदेशों पर शापुर ने अधिकार किया वहां के कुषाण शासकों ने अधीनता स्वीकार की।
उत्तर भारत पर कनिष्क परिवार ने 99 सालों तक उत्तर भारत  शासन किया।
ऐसा अनुमान किया जाता है कि वासुदेव के पश्चात भी कुषाण नरेश उत्तर भारत के कुछ भागों में विशेषतः बिजनौर , हरिद्वार , सहारनपुर व उत्तराखंड में वासुदेव के पश्चात भी कुषाण शासन था।  यदयपि विद्वानों में मतभेद। है

 Satya Sharan Raturi: Hero of Advancement of Garhwali Literature
Critical and Chronological History of Modern Garhwali Poetry –9)

          Satya Sharan Raturi is one of the Garhwali poets who accelerated the advancement of written Garhwali (Himalayan) literature and he is one the pioneers of modern Garhwali ( Himalayan ) language poetry. The poetry of Satya Saran Raturi is full of inspirational value.  Satya Saran Raturi was born in a typical Himalayan village Godi of Tihri (Uttarakhand) in 1869. Satya Saran was expert of Gardening and worked with government of Patiyala and Tihri kingdoms.
          Satya Saran was having profound knowledge of Hindi and Garhwali. Raturi used to publish his Hindi poetry in Sarswati magazine regularly.
   His famous inspiration Garhwali poem ‘ Utha Garhwali ! Ab samou syuno ko nee cha ‘ was published  in the first issue of ‘Garhwali’ magazine ( May, 1905). Garhwali poems of Satya Saran are full of emotions, with figurative sentences and words, rhetoric, and most of poems are inspirational, . He also used common symbols and imagery of his time of Garhwal, Himalaya.  His all poems are published in ‘ Garhwali Kavitwali’ a collection of poetries of many Garhwali poets as Chandra Mogan Raturi, Hari Krishna Rudola , Yogendra Krishna Rudola etc
           Satya Sharan is called true leader of advancing Garhwali literature in the first phase of modern Garhwali. Satya Saran also inspired other co-writers and educated Garhwali for creating Garhwali literature and publishes that literature. It is said that he used to post letters to educated Garhwalis for serving Garhwali language.
Satya Saran Raturi expired on 24th January, 1926 in Patiyala.
