 पर्सी योग दिवस छौ।  पर्सी योग दिवस सरा दुन्या मा मनाये गे बस भारत मा धर्मनिरपेक्ष सम्राट, सेक्युलर राजा अर  पाकिस्तान्युंन योग नि मनै।
         चलो पाकिस्तान योग नि मनाओ तो मानि सकदा कि पाकिस्तान की अपणी मजबूरी च।  बिचारो पाकिस्तान ! जु हिन्दुस्तान का इतिहास तैं इ नि मानि सकुद वु बिचारो योग मनाओ तो कनकैक मनाओ ? पर भारत का प्रेजेंट सेक्युलर ऐम्परर नीतीश कुमार अर वर्तमान धर्मनिरपेक्ष सम्राट लालू यादव अर भावी धर्मनिरपेक्ष सम्राट कजीरवाल की योग नि मनाणो क्या मजबूरी रै होली भै ?
         यदि भाजपा पर भारतीय संस्कृति पर अधिकार करणो अभियोग लगद तो यो बि सै च कि इ बेशरम , बिलंच , बदखोर  सेक्युलर भारतीय संस्कृति तैं केवल हिन्दुओं तै जोड़िक भारत का साथ नाइंसाफी करणा छन।
 यूं कमअक्ली , कौमनष्टि  सेक्युलरुंन पैल सीता -राम  तै भाजपा की पाळी मा धकेल अर अब इ   बदतमीज , बदमिजाज , बददियानती धर्मनिरपेक्ष योग जन विशुद्ध धर्मनिरपेक्ष क्रिया तै भाजपा की कुखली जोग करणो  पुठ्या  जोर लगाणा छन।
   यू बेगैरत सेक्युलरुं तैं क्वी पूछो त सै योग छ  क्या च कि जु योग गैर इस्लामी बुले जावो या गैर क्रिस्तानी बुले जाव ?
   अब भोळ नरेंद्र मोदी अपण अकल  से , कौंळ से  आयुर्वेद तै पुनर्प्रसिद्ध , पुंनर्स्थापित कर द्यालो तो यूं पोंगा सेक्युलरुंन आयुर्वेद तै हिन्दू धर्म कु कर्मकांड प्रसिद्ध करिक आयुर्वेद तै गैर इस्लामी  अर गैर क्रिस्तानी सिद्ध कर दीण। 
    मीन पतंजलि क योग सूत्र कथगा दैं पौढ़।  असल मा मीन पतञ्जली योग सूत्र योग सिखणो नि पौढ़ अपितु मार्केटिंग का लेख लिखणो पौढ़ अर योगसूत्रों का आधार पर मीन एक ब्रैंडिगै  किताब बि लेखी अर कथगा इ मार्केटिंग लेख बि छपवैन। योग एक दर्शन च याने मनोविज्ञान। अब भोळ नरेंद्र मोदी 'The Basics of Psychology ' किताब तै अच्छु ब्वालल त यू सेक्युलर बाबाओंन त Psychology शब्द तै नॉन सेक्युलर घोषित कर दीण।
    योग तै नुकसान पौंछाणम कट्टर अर अज्ञानी हिन्दुओं कु सेक्युलरों से अधिक हाथ च। यूं हिंदुऊँन योग तै हिन्दू धर्म से जोड़ दे अर योग (शरीर अर मनोविज्ञान का जोड़ ) तै धार्मिक क्रिया सिद्ध कर दे।  यी  अज्ञानी हिन्दू  जाणदा इ नि छन कि षठ दर्शन - द्वी मीमांसा , सांख्य , योग , वैशिशिकी , न्यायदर्शन कर्मकांड या धार्मिक आख्यान नि छन अपितु साफ साफ मनोविज्ञान का विषय छन।   पतञ्जली का योग सूत्रों मा भगवान पूजा का माध्यम नि मने गे अपितु एक पदार्थ का रूप  औषधि (भांग या दारु ) का रूप मा माने गे। योग और गीता क्वी हिन्दू  धर्मी कर्मकांड   या रामायण , महाभारत या पुराण नी छन  अपितु आयुर्वेद निकट का दर्शन छन ।
  योग आवश्यक च चाहे उ हिन्दू हो या गैर हिन्दू।  किन्तु अज्ञान मा धर्म की नासमझी से योग , गीता, आयुर्वेद , होमिओपैथी , यूनानी वैदिकी  आदि तैं धर्म से जोड़िक मानव समाज का भौत नुकसान करये जाणु च।
मेरी हिन्दुओं से प्रार्थना च कृपया योग , गीता , अष्टावक्र की महागीता तै हिन्दू धर्म से ना जोड़िन।  जनि योग, गीता , महागीता  तै हिन्दू धर्म से जुड़े जांद जूतमपैजार शुरू ह्वे जांद अर  दर्शन कु छत्यानाश शुरू ह्वे जांद। 
स्क्युलर वाद्यूं से मेरी क्वी प्रार्थना नी च किलैकि यूंन हिन्दू धर्म  अर यूंक प्रतीकुं तै गैर धर्मनिरपेक्ष बणै आल तो यूं से क्वी आसा ही नी च कि यी योग तै प्रश्रय द्याल अर योग की प्रगति मा अग्याळ -पगाळ द्याल।

                     Gurkha insulting Amar Singh Thapa

               Nepal Rule over Kumaun, Garhwal and Himachal (1790-1815) -305
            History of Uttarakhand (Garhwal, Kumaon and Haridwar) -835   
     Amar Singh Thapa was against the insulting treaty with British. Even after getting instruction from the King, he continued war with British in Himachal. After returning to Nepal, he was against treaty with British. Amar Singh Thapa was very sad after the Treaty.
          Amar Singh Thapa was crownless King in west of Kali River  and he got many enemies in Nepal court. His opponents started blaming Amar Singh Thapa for loss to Nepal by not going for Treaty.
   Thapa  was also blamed that he informed the King that all income was being spent on the army but he kept took money for him. It was information that he had eight lakhs rupees at the time of leaving Maluan.
        Opponents also blamed that Amar Singh Thapa was British agent. There were many rumors against Amar Singh Thapa in Kathmandu and Nepal.
 It is said that King did not meat Amar Singh Thapa when Thapa returned to Kathmandu. Amar Singh Thapa had to stay various places.
 Maularam states that he did suicide by taking diamond.
 Amar Singh Thapa died on 29th July 1816 in Nilkanth (Gusainkund). One of his wives burnt herself ( Sati) in a temple near Rasputnath. His death was a tragedy and no song was sung for him after he returned to Nepal.

   Murli Manohar Sati ‘Garhkavi’: The Poet of Optimism, Imagery, Symbolism and Personification
Critical and Chronological History of Modern Garhwali (Asian) Poetry – 30


       Less discussed by critics in Garhwali literature, Murli Manohar Sati ‘Gadhkavi’ has been contributing Garhwali poetry development for many decades and is called the poet of people ‘Gadhkavi’. his poems are full of understandable figures of speech, symbolic symbols, imagery and related to the life style of common men in rural Garhwal.
         Murli Manohar Sati ‘Gadhkavi’ belongs to Devsthan village of Bichhla Nagpur , Chamoli Garhwal , Himalaya. Sati was  born on 17th October, 1915. He is no more now.
Murli Manohar Sati belongs to a Karmkandi Brahmin of Upper Garhwal . Hence the spirituality, religious symbols, fear and benefits of religious rituals are commonly found in the poems of Sati .
            Murli Manohar Sati is credited for more than seven poetry collections in Garhwali language and each collection plays significant role in Garhwali poetry field. The poetry collection ‘ Gadhwal ki Jhanki published in 1949 narrates the life of rural Garhwal specifically Nagpur area and shows the social, religious, economical structure of rural Garhwal. The poems of Gadhwal Jagran (197) are inspirational poems and the poet dreams about a happy, prosperous and spiritual Garhwal where poverty is not seen but there is no infighting or jealousy for the ownership. The poems of ‘Panchayat raj ki Jhalak‘ (1952) ‘ are influenced by Gandhian philosophy that India is the country of villages and villages are the backbone of Indian economy, political structuring, social alignments, agriculture the back bone of Indian advancement .

     ‘ The poems of Gopi Geet ‘ (1965), ‘Gadh Gitika’ (1965) and ‘Banyt Chandrika (1978) are having narration of different subjects as social engineering, social causes, agro-economy, role of spirituality and philosophy in day to day life, natural beauty of Garhwal , ritualism .
Murli Manohar Sati is expert of using different metaphors or figurative words-sentences, proverbs, symbolic words and weaving perfectly to the subject or objectives , uses of imagery to take the readers into different world.
           Murli Manohar Sati has been also successful in personification of Ghughuti the common bird of Garhwal in his poems as
        Hey Ghughti !jayeen chhe mal, lauti ayege apna gaun
Meen te bhair khud lagyeen sachi bonu chhaun tero saun
         The language of Sati is very simple and readers feel at home in listening the poems. Murli Manohar Sati did not avoid using dialects of Nagpurya Chamoli Garhwal, The uses of Nagpurya dialects create exclusive place for Mulri Manohar
      This author read the commentary of Abodh Bandhu Bahuguna about Murli Manohar Sati in his edited historical book ‘Shailvani and Bhishma Kukreti don’t hesitate to criticize Bahuguna for his miseries in praising the poet as Murli Manohar Sati Gadhkavi’ as per his contribution, potentiality and his capabilities , The poetry critics of Garhwali poetry require revision in reviewing the poems of Murli Manohar Sati. This author is also shocked that Abodh Bandhu Bahuguna can position himself ‘Pran and Mahakvi of Garhwali poetry , then Abodh Bandhu should have written more about Murli Manohar Sati as has every right to be praised by critic like Bahuguna .
          Bahuguna did not mention the best uses of personification and perfect uses of symbols in his many poems by Gadhkavi Idf Kalidas is praised for using cloud as the symbols of messenger, Murli Manohar Sati used Ghughuti for a married female of rural Garhwal and even then the poem ’Mal ki Ghughti’ is easily understandable by illiterate person too. Sati has been successful in creating sadness , aloofness by separation from the lovers, and the poet also successful in narrating the jungle scenes of Garhwal with emotional values. No doubt, Sati took the base of Garhwali folk songs ‘Baramasa’ but he modernizes the narration of ‘Baramasa differently as per the requirement of creating modern poetry in Garhwali language .
         This author feels that Murli Manohar Sati ‘Gadhkavi’ requires another review for his contribution to the Garhwali literature .

माळ की घुघती लौटी ऐ गे , जनु परदेशी अपणा गौं

तू बाँकी छै बिगरैली छै छई सुकेली कबरली
सुर सुर चलणी छै बटा पुण पंखुड़ी तेरी छै डबरैली
समझे दिन बौड़ी  ऋतू ऐगे , इनै उनै अब कनकै रौं
माळ की घुघती लौटी ऐ गे , जनु परदेशी अपणा गौं

स्वामी ठौंटड़ी गोळ मुंडळी तेरी रतन्याळी आँखी
सुवा सांकी छै जनि जिकुड़ी की तेरी बिगरैली पाँखी
अपणा नौं का गीत सुणौन्दी , घुर्र घुरोंदी घुघती छौं
 माळ की घुघती लौटी ऐ गे , जनु परदेशी अपणा गौं

डाऴयूँ का साया मा , अपणी गांदी छै बोली
घुघती जौंळ उड़ीतैं औंदी , तेरा दगड्यों की टोली
तू डरदी छै कि मी देखी फुर फुर कै तू उड़दी छौं
माळ की घुघती लौटी ऐ गे , जनु परदेशी अपणा गौं

         चूँकि अच्काल हम दुयुं मा कुट्टी चलणी च त मि समिण बोलि नि सकदु अर जब तक मि त्यार दगड द्वी चार दैं चरचर बचन नि  बोलुल त मि तैं खाणा  हजम नि हूंद तो इमेल से मि अपण बिचार भिजणु छौ ।  उन त मेरी सहेली कब बिटेन जग्वाळम बैठ्याँ छन कि मि औं अर तेरी छ्वीं ऊँमा लगों ।अर फिर छुटी-छुटी छूयूँ मा मेरी सहेल्युं तै मजा बि नि आंद। सब लूण , मर्च,  मसाला मिलैक दूधभति खांदन त ऊँ तैं इन बथों मा क्या मजा आलो !
  मि फेसबुक मा अपण चचराट पोस्ट कर सकुद छौ, किन्तु त्यार फ्रेंड अधिक चतुर  , चंट ,  चचरट्या  छन तो ऊंन नखुर-नखुर शब्दों से म्यार बरखबान कर दीण त मि किलै फ़ेसबुक मा अपण कुणकुणाट पोस्ट कौरुं अर अपण बेज्जती करवाऊं।  उन बि  मि   सुब्रमणियम स्वामी त छौं ना कि अपण ड्यारो छ्वीं बीच बजार मा धौरी द्यों। 
            सुबेर बिटेन म्यार गिच्च खयाणु छौ कि मि कुछ बोलु त मि ईमेल से बच्याणु छौं।  जन गरम पाणी पेकि तीस नि मिटदी उनी  गिच्च की खुजली ईमेल से नि मिटदी , किन्तु कुछ त सेळि पड़ जांद बस।
              ज्यू  त म्यार  त्वे कुण लाब काब बकणो  बुल्याणु च पर ऑनलाइन मा सब कुछ सेव रै जांद तो मि त्वे कुण लाब काब बि नि बख सकदु तू श्याम दैं मेरी गाळि म्यार नौनु तैं बथै देली।  अर अचकाल त ऑफ़लाइन मा बि हम सासु अपण ब्वार्युं तैं गाळी बि नि दे सकदां।  ब्वारी  ऊँ गाळयूं तै मोबाइल पर टेप कर दींदन अर कत्ति ब्वारी त मोबाइल से वीडिओ फिल्म बि बणै दींदन।  इन मा अब ब्वार्युं मैत वळु तैं हम सासु बुरी बुरी गाळी बि नि दे सकणा छंवां।  मीन सूण बल उख दिल्ली -मुंबई मा सासूंन लॉफिंग क्लब जन गाळी क्लब बणयां छन जख ब्वार्युं तै गाळी दिए जांदन।  रांड ह्वेलि ईं सरकारै इख अबि तक कैन बि गाळी क्लब नि ख्वाल निथर मी बि क्लब मा भर्ती ह्वेक खूब गाळी बखुद।  पता नी कतगा दिन ना मैना ह्वे गेन धौं मीन जी भरीक गाळी नि देन।  कांड लग जैन यीं मोबाइल संस्कृति पर जैक डौरक मार हम जोर जोर से गाळी बि नि दे सकदां। अर डा हरसमय हिदैत दीणु रौंद कि रोज अद्धा एक घंटा गाळी बका करो।  वैक बुलण च बल गाळी दीण से मन की इच्छा पूरी ह्वे जांदन।  जन कफ भैर आण जरूरी च तनी बल मनुष्य से गाळी भैर आण   जरूरी हूंद।  एककक भैर औण  शरीर का वास्ता जरूरी च तो दुसराक भैर आण घुटन दूर करणो उपाय च। पैलाक जमन अच्छु छौ।  सासु  चौकाक एक कूण्या मा खड़ी ह्वेका अपण ब्वारी तै गाळी दींदि छे अर ब्वारी चौकाक हैंक कूण्या मा खड़ ह्वेक गाळयूंक जबाब गाळी से दींद छा।  सासू -ब्वारी अपण कुंठा गाळी देकि दूर करदा छा तो दर्शक मनोरंजन पै लींद छ।  एक पंथ द्वी काज।
 गाळी दीण से सासु तै बि अर ब्वारी तै बि शारीरिक आराम मिल जांद छौ।  पर गाळी बंदी से अब भौत सी नई शारीरिक बीमारी जनमणि छन।
                  तब शक्ति अर नियंत्रण का वास्ता गाळी दीण सुगम पथ छौ।  अब तो शक्ति ई नी च त नियंत्रण कख अर कै पर करे जावो ?
 गाळी दीण से अहिंसात्मक लड़ै लड़न सौंग  छौ , सरल छौ , निष्कपट छौ तब। अर अब बस घुटन ही घुटन।
          अहा तब गाळयूं से पता चौल जांद छौ कि या सासु कैं अडगैं -क्षेत्र की च अर ब्वारिक मैत कै मुलक च।  अब जब गाळी इ नीन तो कनकैक पता लगाण कु कै छ्वाड़क च।  अर अचकालै ब्वारी अंग्रेजी मा गाळी दींदन त पता इ चलद कि ब्वारी कै छवाड़ैक च। अचकालै ब्वारी त  छ्वाड़ तीरै ब्वारी छन। निम्न स्तर की !           
             तब फेसबुक नि छौ अर ना ही ब्लॉग सुविधा छौ तो गाळी बकण अभिव्यक्ति को सुविधाजनक माध्यम छौ।  अर अब उ मजा कख च जु मजा अमिण -समिण गाळी दीण मा आंद छौ।
हैं ! यि क्या ? मि त राहुल गांधी ह्वे ग्यों।  जाण छौ कर्नाटक अर पौंछि ग्याइ  बैंकॉक।  तेकुण कुछ बुलण छौ त मि गाळी का फायदा बथाण मिसे ग्यों।  उन तो तू पढ़ीं लिखीं छे त मीन जु बुलण छौ उ अपरोक्ष रूप से बोली दे।  समजी जै कि म्यार मंतव्य क्या छौ।

               Nepal Rule over Kumaun, Garhwal and Himachal (1790-1815) -306

    After British and Nepal treaty of Sugauli, new era started in Garhwal, Kumaon and Himachal.
                                  Nepal
          Nepal lost the Tarai territories and Himachal,, Garhwal and  Kumaon.. Nepal remained a sovereign Kingdom of Central Himalayas. British opened India for Nepalese to stay and becoming Indian citizens and still Nepalese come freely in India and becomes Indian citizens without any trouble. 
                   Himachal Pradesh
 British handed over the territories to their respective Kings of Himachal Pradesh.
                 Kumaon
           Whole Kumaon came directly under British rule and a couple of hill stations emerged in Kumaon. 
                          Garhwal
 The biggest loser was Garhwal. Today’s Their and Uttarkashi came under new Kingdom –Tehri Riyasat.
   Today’s Pauri and Chamoli Garhwal Districts came under British and Kumaon became the head quarter of Garhwal.

                    Literature Historian:  Bhishma Kukreti

        Amar Nath Sharma was a politician and a social worker.  Amarnath Sharma was a poet too. He published a Garhwali poetry collection ‘Huntyali Dali ‘ हुणत्यळी डाळी’
  Amarnath Sharma was born in 1912 in village Sirala, Kandarsyun Patti of Pauri Garhwal.
  His poetries are full of similes and interesting figures of speeches. His way of telling poetry through symbols surprises the readers.  Melody is his poetry characteristics. The language and phrases of his poems are simple and attract readers.

मेरा जिया कि प्यारी बांसुळी छै तू
बांस की मेरी बांसुळी
तेरा गित्तुं मा मेरा पराण
भौंण तेरि रसीली
धारु धारु ऊँ डाँड्यूं ऐंच
बैठदि तु ठुमकुली
तौं उदासी गीत केकु
बजौन्दि बांसुळी !
बिसरीं खुद बौड़ान्दि  तु
गीत उऴयारा गैकी
तौं खुदेड़ गित्तु सुणैकि
दुनिया तु रिझान्दी 
रिझै तिन कृष्ण दगड़ि
गोपी मेरी बांसुळी
त्वै बिना भगवान कृष्ण
कभी नि रै यखुली।
कना मोहनी स्यू गीत तेरा
बांस कु तेरा गात
मिट्ठा खट्टा सब्बु लगदा
क्वी होंदा उदास
बग्ड्वाळ जीतू कि रये
तू बणी हँसूळी
स्याळि दगड़ वेकु विणास
किलै ह्वै बांसुळी।

          A social worker of Dehradun , Vasundhara Dobhal is famous for more for Hindi poetries than Garhwali poetries. Her poems of Garhwali language are full of patriotism , idealistic in nature and are directive as teacher offers direction.
            Vasundhara Dobhal was born in a famous Himalayan city Dehradun on 4th June 1920.
Dobhal published her Garhwali poems in various regional periodicals of Dehradun and Garhwal.
There is plenty of tenderness in her poems; even poems of directive, patriotic and inspirational nature are having kindheartedness and warmth.  She also created spiritual poems.
Matha ma teri charan dhuli ko
Tilak lagaulu bharat mata
Hath jodik sheesh navaik
Pranam chha twaiku bharat mata
                     The poem of Vasundhara Dobhal that the educated Garhwalis are inclined to use Hindi words in Garhwali literature , though, there are available Garhwali words to discard Hindi words . If Vasundhara Dobhal and other Garhwali language creative will be praised for their contribution for Garhwali language development, these creative will also be criticized sternly for corrupting rich Garhwali language by Hindi words.
भारत माता
माथा माँ तेरी चरण धूळि  को
तिलक लगौलु भारत माता
हाथ जोड़िक शीश नवैक
प्रणाम छ त्वैकू भारत माता
श्वेत मुकुट हिमाळ छ तेरो
अर अंग माँ छ कई रंगी साड़ी
