Vidura was half brother of Pandu and Dhritrashtra of epic Mahabharata. Vidura was chief of the cabinet of king Dhrirashtra of Mahabharata epic. 

ViduraneetiI or Statecraft of Vidura is the origin of Chanakyneeti.

In Udyogparv of Mahabharata, Vidura states that non-cruelty, kindness, righteous behavior, truthfulness, and industriousness are the basic for peaceful life.

In Udyogparv of Mahabharata, Vidura says that real knowledge, efforts, to tolerate the pain/sad situation/adverse situation characters are the main features of Pundit.

In Udyogparv of Mahabharata, Vidura says to Dhritrashtra that Pundit is always away from anger, greed, unnecessary happiness, pride, embarrassment, shyness, notoriousness, and self praise.

In Udyogparv of Mahabharata, Vidura says to Dhritrashtra that Pundit is always believes in action, execution.

Rai Mantrane ka Mantra: A Folk Ritual Rite for Healing popular in Garhwal and Kumaun

    The following mantra or folk rites is about healing an ailing person by Mantrik or tantric
       In this folk ritual of Garhwal, the Mantrik or Tanrik chant the following mantra and touches/mixes the mustard seeds. The mustard seeds are put in the pocket of ailing man or bellow the pillow of ailing man. Many times, the mustard seeds are thrown around a caw which is having problems of milking etc

                    Kula Nand Ghansala is well famous name in Garhwali dramas, Ghansala have already written more than ten Garhwali dramas and most of them are staged.  ‘Manikhi Bag’ (1993) by Kula Nand Ghansala was first staged in 1993 in Gopeshwar, Chamoli Garhwal.
             As the Russian drama ‘The Government Inspector’ (1836) by Nikolai Gogol; French film Ridicule; A Pakistani drama Burka Vaganza (Aju ka Theatre); South African play ‘Survival Asinamali’ ridicules white bureaucrats; Mexican theatre ridiculed politicians around 1920; ‘Manikhi Bag’ (1993) by Kula Nand Ghansala  successfully ridicules local self government  politicians, bureaucrats and society together.
             The theme is about gram Pradhan and other characters as government officials and business community apply corrupt methods for taking monitory advantages. The playwright criticizes people for their ignoring these man-eaters. The tiger is the watchman of the goats.
               The playwright Kula Nand Ghansala uses various emotions which are attracting points for the audience.  The satire and humor of drama may create laughter but ultimately compel the audience to think. The real objective of any humor or satire is to create smile and laughter but at the end compel the audience or readers to think upon the real cause.
         There are nine acts in this satirical drama .There are total twenty six characters in the drama. The story construction of satirical drama ‘Manikhi Bag’ (1993) by Kula Nand Ghansala is well within command and the events seem from the daily life. The story is accelerated by lyrics at the beginning of each act.
        The dialogues are fit for the characters, and timing of action of characters. The drama is a realistic modern drama.
              Bhishma Kukreti states that the contribution of Kula Nand Ghansala in international drama art is equal to Honore de Balzac, James Berry, Chekhov, Ibsen, and George Colman, William dean, Bernard Shaw, Sinclair for understanding the social construction and depicting it in the drama.

          Most of religions practice Consecrating. In Garhwal and Kumaun, when a person becomes ill or there is need of protection from evil spirit, any disease or bad luck, the Mantrik-Tantric consecrates the ash (usually put in leave saucer -pudki), the patient or needy one rubs ash on forehead and keeps ash under the pillow while sleeping.

           The above Consecrating ash mantra is similar in various ways as the Northern Ontario communities perform Consecrating Seed rituals. The last stanza of Consecrating Seed ritual by Northern Ontario communities   is sufficient to understand the similarities –

Gods, ancestors and nature spirits
Be giving growth and kindly substance

                 In Ukrainian, Tibetan and Polish traditions, the consecrating ritual performances are very common. In West coast of South Africa, people used to   burry tortoise with consecrating ritual performances (Jayson  Orton , 2012) as found in Kali or Chaubatiya Mantra ritual performance in Garhwal or Kumaun.  There are many consecrating ritual performances in Taoist rituals.

                             Kula Nand Ghansala is an expert playwright of writing satirical and humorous social Garhwali Dramas. The satirical and humorous social Garhwali Drama ‘‘Kya Kan Tab’ is already published, staged various times and the film version of satirical and humorous social Garhwali Drama ‘‘Kya Kan Tab’ is available. The story of satirical and humorous social Garhwali Drama ‘‘Kya Kan Tab’ deals with the basic nature of human being suspecting on our own family members and society creating the base for such suspect., Sushila suspects that her husband Dharma Nand has extra marital relation with the village teacher ‘Masteni Ji’ in the satirical and humorous social Garhwali Drama ‘‘Kya Kan Tab’.  The villagers and her family members from parent side of Sushila ‘create more complexities and confusion about the relationship between Dharma Nand and ‘masteni-ji’.
                  Due to sharp accusation on him by his wife, Dharma Nand leaves the village. Now everybody repents but the time has already passed.
               The satirical and humorous social Garhwali Drama ‘‘Kya Kan Tab’ opens many psychological aspects as double standard of human beings. The dialogues are just as per characters and the playwright is successful in creating characterization. The satirical and humorous social Garhwali Drama ‘‘Kya Kan Tab’ provides moral teaching but playwright did not have long speeches in the drama. The dialogues of satirical and humorous social Garhwali Drama ‘‘Kya Kan Tab’ are with full of humor and satire.
            The satirical and humorous social Garhwali Drama ‘‘Kya Kan Tab’ is one of the mile stone in the Garhwali drama world.

                    Immutable Principles of Winning Strategy by great Diplomat and political science expert Kanik of Mahabharata

 

                  Kanik was the capable, admired minister in the cabinet of Dhritrashtra king of Karavy or Bharat. Kanik was expert in political science and political diplomacy. Once, Kanik advised Dhritrashtra about winning strategies (Adiparv, 40). The war strategies or management strategies remain same and the weapons change with the time. The winning strategies by Kanik are valid in the nuclear weapons era. These war or kingdom defense winning strategies are also valid for marketing management.

1-The king should have fair and strong judicial system and the king should not be afraid of punishing the punishable.

2-The king should believe on his strength and not on luck.

3-The king should protect weaknesses. If there are weaknesses the king should not open them before anybody.

4-It is essential for the king to know the weakness of others.

5-If anybody is harming the enemy he should crush the enemy for ever

6-The king should not underestimate the strength of enemy and in such circumstances, he should not be careless

7-If the time is not favorable the king should never start war against the enemy but should always be alert.

Ab Kya Holu? : A Garhwali Drama about Separate Uttarakhand Movement

              Separate state Uttarakhand movement had been a strong base for Garhwali literature in terms of new subject, new creative and new energy in the literary world.
               The creative create classic literature basing Uttarakhand movement.  The Garhwali drama’ Ab Kya Holu?’ by Kula Nand Ghansala is an example of creation of classic literature or offbeat literature at the time of Uttarakhand movement.
               Kula Nand Ghansala is able to create an atmosphere of Uttarakhand movement in the drama’ Ab Kya Holu?.’ There are various characters in the drama – selfish, sacrificing, ignorant about movement but involved, well aware about movement and involved, well aware about movement and not involved,. There is oppression by government and its administrator (police force).
                Kula Nand Ghansala could dramatize the situation by dialogues fit for each character. Definitely, the aim of Ghansala was to create awareness about movement and he put many such speeches which are necessary for creating the enthusiasm for the movement.
           In the future, the drama will always work as refreshing moments for Uttarakhand movement.
