Kindly reconsider my earlier post which I am once again repeating. This is really a wonderful love ballad. It not only reflects the path adopted by Rajula in search of Malu Saha but also gives some references of the histroical events happening in the country at that time. One Vijaypal has been referred as Bighni Vijaypal , who was probably from the Shahi Dynastry of North West Sindh. Who left his native place due to the pressure of Turk attacks and came in search of shelter in Katuur Valley and started living like Hun traders. He assumed the title of "Rudia Hunia of Jullandhar desh". He was killed by Malu Shah but Malu Shah was imprisoned by Son pal's Army. Haru Sem . Goria, and Suraj Kunwar and Sidwa Bidwa Ramola's from Garhwal all went to rescue Malu Shah. In this battle both Malu Shah and Son pal sauka lost their life. Whatever the case may be, it is really a story of a girl who faces every hardship to meet her beloved. The Book Uttrakahnd ke Beer Bhar, by Dr. Ranbir Singh Chauhan, published by Shri Communication, Shri Shankar Niwas , Upper Bazar, Sri Nagar Garhwal is a juicy history book which tries to throw light on the life of Katuuri period.
The above suggests that this story also had a tragic end.
