बेरीनाग(पिथौरागढ़): विकासखण्ड का सुदूरवर्ती मढ़भट्टïीगांव क्षेत्र आजादी के 62 वर्षो बाद भी एक अदद सड़क व स्कूल जैसी मूलभूत सुविधाओï के लिए तरस रहा है। इस क्षेत्र के लोगोï द्वारा इन मूलभूत सुविधाओï के लिये शासन-प्रशासन से गुहार लगाने के बावजूद आज तक सुध नहीï ली गयी है।

मढ़भट्टïी क्षेत्र मेï हजारोï की आबादी के बावजूद शिक्षा, चिकित्सा, यातायात की सुविधाएं नहीï हैï। सड़क सुविधा नहीï होने से यहां के लोग आज भी कई किमी की पैदल दूरी तय कर मुख्यालय पहुंचते हैï। हाईस्कूल व इंटर कालेज नहीï होने से छात्र-छात्राओï को आठवीï कक्षा के बाद दस किमी दूर नाचनी या थल पहुंचना पड़ता है। ऐसी स्थितियोï मेï छात्राएं आगे की शिक्षा ग्रहण नहीï कर पाती हैï। क्षेत्र के सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता बहादुर सिंह रौतेला ने बताया कि इंटर कालेज और सड़क निर्माण के लिये वर्षो से शासन-प्रशासन के समक्ष मांग उठायी जा रही है। परंतु आज तक इन मामलोï मेï कोरे आश्वासन मात्र दिये गये हैï। उन्होïने बताया कि क्षेत्र मेï बिजली और पानी की समस्या भी बनी रहती है। अधिकांश क्षेत्रोï मेï महीनोï तक खराब होने पर विद्युत व्यवस्था मेï सुधार नहीï किया जाता है। उन्होïने कहा कि इन समस्याओï के निराकरण को कई बार क्षेत्रीय विधायक सहित तमाम जनप्रतिनिधियोï व अधिकारियोï को लिखित व मौखिक बताया गया है। लेकिन कोई सुध नहीï लिये जाने से क्षेत्रवासियोï में गहरा आक्रोश व्याप्त है।

Dehradun, Feb 27 : With an aim to provide medical facilities to people at their doorstep, especially in far-flung areas, the Uttarakhand government today launched mobile hospitals in the state.

Flagging off the wheeled hospitals, christened as 'Dr Hedgewar Arogya Rath' under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Health Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank said the state government was committed to provide the best medical facilities.

He said the main aim of the mobile hospitals was to make medical services accessible to those people who are living in remote hilly areas of the state.

Initially, the service will operate in seven districts of Garhwal region but soon it would be expanded to six districts of Kumaon region, the minister said.

These mobile hospitals, which are equipped with X-ray and other pathological facilities besides trained medical staff, would be operated with the help of an NGO in each of the 13 districts, said Nishank.

The hospitals, which perform well, will also be awarded, he added.

RCom launches GSM services in UP and Uttarakhand

LUCKNOW: Reliance Communications on Tuesday launched its post paid GSM services for in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Announcing the launch, Reliance Communications Regional Head UP and Uttarakhand Mr Salim Haq said that the company would offer three p lans to the post paid customers.

The first plan would come at a monthly rental of Rs 129 in which a subscriber can make all local and STD calls at the rate of Re one per minute. While, the second would be available for Rs 199 in which a subscriber would get a usage discount worth Rs 15 0 and local mobile calls would be Rs 0.50 per minute Mr Haq said. For heavy users, it would offer another plan which would entitle the subscriber to get a full usage discount of Rs 375 and local calls will be 50 paise per minute while STD would charged at Re one per minute, and the monthly rental would be Rs 375 per month. – PTI
