      Pindari Valley, Uttaranchal, India Mountain Hut at Dhakuri (2690 metres above sea level), first stop on the way to Pindari Glacier. You can either camp here or stay in the hut or in another guest house.
In the background, clouds descend on Sunderdhunga Valley and beyond it,               Mount Nanda Devi (not seen in the picture), the second highest peak in India (7816 metres)
