कैलाश भाई, मेरे ख्याल से मोहन उप्रेती जी ने "पर्वतीय कला केन्द्र" के माध्यम से पहली बार "घसियारी नृत्य" को मंच पर प्रस्तुत किया था.

Thanks Dada....Kya kuch aur historical news/detail meel sakti hai Ghasyari Nrutya ke baare me...Because I told to so many peoples (Non Uttarakhandeez too) about this Nrutya which is going to be perform in Common wealth game and they are asking the details of this Nrutya....

Agar kishi book me yaa fir kahi aur se iske baare me detail meel paye to daju bataiyega....me book purchase kar loonga......

पहाड़ की घस्यारी पर अतीत में खुदेड़ गीत लिखे गए और उसके दर्द को पारंपरिक गीतों में व्यक्त किया गया.  तब के पहाड़ और आज के पहाड़ में बहुत परिवर्तन आ गया है.  तब  घस्यारी कहो या पहाड़ की नारी...शादी कम उम्र में हो जाती थी...सास से बहुत डरती थी...शिक्षित भी नहीं थी...काम की कठिन डगर होती थी....उसे खुद बहुत लगती थी.  तब जिंदगी पहाड़ में पहाड़ जैसी थी....आज की घस्यारी का जीवन सुखद है....शिक्षित है...संचार से जुड़ी है.   उत्तराखंड के घस्यारी  गीत का प्रदर्शन रास्ट्र मंडलीय खेलों के उदघाटन के अवसर पर होगा...ये हमारे लिए गर्व की बात है.
