Hi uttranchali friends, My name is Devender, Devender Bisht to be precise, and i am presently staying in Lodhi Road in New Delhi , but i belong to Udlikhan a small village near Ganai,Chaukhutia in Distt. Almora. Like most of you i miss the clean air, Ramganga rivers water, Chaukhita's chole matar and Astami kauteek ka raita, Bhat ki dal, Baal mithai and ....the list is endless , after going through the content of this web site i feel i am very much there in Hills of Kumaon and lets as a community also work towards the betterment of underpriveleged in our region.  Looking forward for a nice stay here.  BYe for now and lets stay connected throug email and my contact no is : 09971706565.

My name is Namrata Rawat, I belong to a small village known as Rawatsera, distt- bageshwar from my father's side and my mother belongs to dhapolasera, distt-kanda....I was bought up in New Delhi and presently I am working in France. I visited pahad when i was a small kid during my summer school vacations with my parents and I have some great memories from those short trips.
I am very very interested to know where do we come from, who are we, we have some cultural proximities to rajasthanis also, why so...and so on ..hence my curosity brought me to this website...I congratulate the people behind the creation and maintenance of this site and thank all the members for their presence...
I too feel glad to be a part of this site now
however I dont see a lot of women members? We need to motivate the pahadi women to join us and feel free to express their thoughts and feeling too..

Thanks for your soft corner for pahad. as u have mentioned you have not been much pahad. however, your interest for pahad is really appreicable.

As regards the number female members this is slightly less. HOpe incoming days, this will also improve.
